So I've been using this product for a while. I LOVE the smell of anything citrus, and grapefruit is by far my favorite. If you love the smell of grapefruit, this is your shower gel. I use this in my morning showers, the smell just energizes you, and it's a wonderful way start to your day. I love getting out of the shower and my bathroom smells so good from using my LUSH products. If you aren't sure, you can always go and sample it at one of the stores, or take a sample home with you! I've recommended this to all my friends!

My friend gave me a bottle of Lush's Ponche back in November 2012 and I realized that my keratosis pilaris was quickly clearing-up. I instantly wondered if it contained lactic acid... and it did! I was ecstatic. I never had problems with KP until a couple of years ago, and two different dermatologists have told me to use AmLactin lotion because it contains lactic acid. I tried this remedy and all I can say is that I CANNOT stand the lotion. I was bummed because as far as the dermatologists went, and anything I could find online went, the only thing ever mentioned about getting rid of KP was AmLactin. I was disappointed when I couldn't get Ponche anymore, so the next time I visited the store, I asked if there was anything else with lactic acid, and the girl who helped me instantly took me over to Happy Hippie! I was SO happy! My skin is back on its way to being KP-free! She also recommended Rub Rub Rub (which also contains lactic acid), and that helps a lot, too!

Happy Hippy is absolutely amazing!!! I was hesitant to stray away from my beloved Grass shower gel, but I am so glad that I did! I have always been a fan of "clean" scents. The scent of Happy Hippy is clean, citrusy, and completely uplifting. It lathers really well, so you don't need to put a lot on your loofa/washcloth. I have the big bottle and have been going through it very slowly. It's very effective at cleaning - after showering I feel like a million bucks! Thanks, Lush!!

We got this because my husband loved the smell in the store and the girl recommended it to get him extra clean from work grime (he works on jets). She was right. His drug store wash got him surface clean but he still looked dirty were the grease had stained his skin. This product gets him clean looking. I love the way it smells in shower. Refreshing and energizing. Sadly it doesn't stay on your skin very long. By the time I dry off it's already gone.

I like to use this as a shapoo because of all the great citrus in it. I have oily roots so this really helps clarify my scalp and keep it from getting greasy for several days.

Because there isn't a lot of oil in this, it keeps my scalp oil free and my hair shiny.

I occasionally use this as a shower gel, but using it as a shampoo is my favorite and so far, I haven't found anything that does what this product does to my hair. Clean, shiny, and citrus smelling! Try it on your hair if you have oily scalp!

Refreshing/Amazing/Gets you outta those winter funks with a sensational grapefruit scent! My favorite shower gel by Lush, without a doubt. Vegan with a delectable scent, the Happy Hippy Shower Gel is seriously a must-have. Grapefruit has been found to be an aphrodisiac, by the way.

I never knew I liked grapefruit until I smelled this...now I have grapefruit EVERTHING. The sweet, fresh, clean scent isn't too cloying, but it clings whisperingly to my skin all day...like a little pick-me-up every time I catch the scent!

I love the smell of this stuff. Grapefruity and invigorating. The only thing I don't like about this stuff is that it dries out my skin a little. I'd stick to using it in the summer when everything's humid and grimey rather than the winter when my skin turns lizardy and needs all the moisture it can get.

Most accurate name ever! So sweet and tangy smelling that it makes me look forward to showering! I use a little on my loofah and the bottles last quite a long time. Definitely worth it. Reminds me of the liquid form of Sexy Peel or Bohemian.

Hello, I'm costarrican and, unfortunately, in this country nobody sells Lush products. Last April we went on a family trip to the UK to rediscover our roots, since our family comes originally from Inverkeithing, Scotland. We found Lush products at a London Victoria shop. We're all very pleased with your great products,particularilly me with the Happy Hippy gel. It's really refreshing and vigorizing, specially in our hot mornings. I hope we can have one of your shops here in the near future, till then .. Thank God for the internet.

I use this product in a loofah, it's very lathery. It's a nice sent of Grapefruit, nothing very special though. It makes me nice and soft when I use it, I have the biggest bottle of it and it does last a very long time. I only rate a three because of the general smell, it's just not too wonderful to me.

This is a pick-me-up in a bottle, and is a great product for gifting. It's completely unisex, and is always a treat in the shower. If you like citrus scents, you will not be disappointed.

I got this as a birthday gift from my fiance...what a good man! He knows I am a big lushie. I use it as a shampoo, and follow up with Jungle conditioner. It smells yummy and gets my scalp squeaky clean. The only issue with it is that it doesn't lather super well, but lather isn't really necessary for getting clean hair. The smell is nice and strong and even after conditioning and using my leave-in after I got out of the shower, my hair still smells grapefruitalicious. If you are a fan of citrus smells, I would highly recommend this multitasking product.

AWESOME product. This is my standard body wash. Excellent way to wake up! It has a great, rich lather and makes my whole house smell fabulous.

I wasn't super impressed with this. The smell is pleasant but it's not my favorite. It's also a very weak smell, I literally had to put my nose into my loofah before I could smell it. I find this to be a little too drying for my skin as well. However, it does work wonderfully as a shampoo. This isn't a bad product by any means, but I'm not sure if I like it enough to repurchase it.
