I used this product on my hands of course but also on my arms and neck. This product is awesome i haved suffered from eczem my whole life especially on my hands i have rough cracked chapped skin i used this for ONE DAY and the cracked chapped bleeding skin was almost GONE the next day the smell is very nice works wouderful if you suffer like i do you must have this no more red cracked and itchy stingy skin for me thank you LUSH

I have very sensitive skin and I am prone to painfully dry and chapped skin, especially throughout the winter months. I also suffer from small, sore rashes that appear on my hands and arms. At times, my hands have become so dry that washing them with soap and water was painful. If I applied a "regular" type of lotion I felt like I had acid on my skin. Well, not any more!! Ever since I purchased Helping Hands, I have used it before bed and in the morning after I shower and I have experienced a major improvement in the overall health of my skin on my hnads and arms! I am thankful that this product exists because it is perfect for my sensitive and easilly irritated skin! I would love it if Lush created Helping Hands in a package that would travel well. Perhaps in a tube, so I can keep it in my purse and re-apply as needed throughout the day. I am in love with this product and will continue to purchase it. I do find it to be on the pricey side, but I have NEVER felt such relief until now.

My hands have always been dry and cracky so i got this hoping that would all go away.... for me the product was WAY too greasy and i didnt even use that much of it. I had to take a towel and wipe my hands off because it wouldnt absorb into my skin which then dryed the prodcuct off of my hands.

I love this! I am a dog groomer so my hands are in the water majority of the time. I have sensitive skin! I can break out in hives from using certain products. I am really enjoying this stuff. Doesn't seem like there is much in the container but a little bit goes a long ways. I even put it on my dogs paws where they were cracking! I wouldn't recommend it but it worked on her little paws! Stuff is awesome. Love it, I want to bath in it.

I've loved Lush products in the past, so I had no hesitation when I decided to buy a jar of Helping Hands. I'm sorry to have to say that this product doesn't work with my olfactory system. The scent smells vaguely like a wet dishrag that's been allowed to sit around for perhaps a few hours too long. The dishrag scent only happens after I've really been working to rub Helping Hands into my skin for a minute or two. I know products can smell differently from one person to another, but this scent just doesn't work for me.

Helping Hand goes on smoothly and can be easily spread around the skin. I'm unable to get Helping Hands to fully absorb into my skin, which necessitates rubbing my hands lightly with a towel to get the excess cream off. I've tried several different application amounts, but so far every time I put it on, my hands are greasy.

I do feel that the product ultimately works, as Helping Hands left my skin utterly soft and moisturized, and the effects lasted. If only I didn't want to wash my hands constantly, to get rid of the dishrag smell ...

I really do wish I could give Helping Hands a better review and a recommendation. I see that my experience with it is certainly not the majority's; I guess all I can say is that different scents and products work better or less effectively depending on the person.

I have a persistent patch of eczema on one of my fingers that flares up badly in the wintertime or when I put it under serious duress. I had basically given up all hope of ever getting to return to normal... until Helping Hands. This stuff is a true miracle.

I have extremely dry skin. I also work in a doctor's office, so I am constantly washing my hands. I put this on before I go to bed, and in the morning, my hands still feel amazing. Wonderful product!

i was getting these really weird dry patches on my hands when the season changed from summer to winter and my hands were all rough on the knuckles and the backs. i went into lush and told the sales associate my problem and showed her my hands and she gave me helping hands. i've been using it every night and my hands are back to normal and they're soft and its just great. you really have to use it every night though. i wouldn't recommend using helping hands in the morning or during they day, though, because it's kind of greasy but it does absorb pretty well. you get a LOT, this tub is huge considering you only need a little bit each day. it'll last a long time and gets the job done so it's definitely worth it.

I walked into Lush about a week ago, looking for a something else, when the salesperson asked me if I wanted to try this cream. I said yes, but didn't think much of it after that. She had only put the cream onto one of my hands, and an entire THREE DAYS later, the hand STILL felt significantly softer than the other, even after only one use. Needless to say, I ran right back to the store to buy it. Its pricey for a small tub but its worth every penny! I'd rather spend extra on this than buy a drugstore brand for half the price that doesn't even work half as well.

I'm a hair stylist and am constantly getting my hands wet, and tend to have dry skin. I can use this at the beginning of my day and reapply it about every 3-5 washes - and that's being generous. Helping Hands has a light moisture barrier so it repels some water, and conditions and soothes dry skin when it's tight and painful. It's light enough to use in the summertime and doesn't make any irritated skin feel worse. Fantastic! A must have for those who are constantly getting their hands wet or just want a great soothing lotion.

This is a great product if you're in need of an intense moisturizer but don't want hands feeling greasy for half an hour, especially if you wash your hands frequently during the day for work and/or live in cold, dry climates. I usually apply this first on my hands, and then apply my all-over moisturizer on my legs, knees, and elbows. By the time I'm done, Helping Hands has soaked right in, and my skin feels like velvet. A little goes a very long way, and lasts most of the day for me. It's also the only moisturizer that I've ever used on my chapped, dry nose in the winter time that has worked, and doesn't irritate my poor skin. I also dab a tiny bit on the little dry patches I get on my face in the wintertime (especially just above the corners of my mouth), and it works miracles.

Ever have an awful cold and your poor little nose gets roughed up and raw from constant tissue use? Use Helping Hands to save face! I use just a bit anywhere my face has gotten rubbed the wrong way - it soothes, reduces redness, and re-moisturizes! Amazing!

I bought this item because my mother was dying to try it since she can't find a lotion that works on her hands because she is constantly sanitizing them. This is amazing My only complaint is that it doesn't come in a bigger size. When it soaks in, it's not greasy, and it hardly smells at all. I would definitely recommend this if you're looking for something to make your hands soft and smooth.

I have to wash my hand a lot for my job and this amazing lotion puts the moisture right back into them. It has a great lightly floral scent that is not overpowering.I would definitely buy this again.

I don't know about anyone else, but I always buy hand creams in hope of having something that will make my hands soft without making them end up being sweaty. So far, this is the only hand cream (or lotion) that actually leaves my hands that beautiful and remarkable softness without making my palms sweaty and nasty (which is especially nice for those of us in the dating world). I only use enough to cover my hands lightly, and it lasts an incredibly long time!

This product has absolutely saved my hands! I just noticed that in the description, it mentions nurses, which is funny because I work in a hospital. The constant Purel-ing and washing with industrial anti-bacterial soaps absolutely wrecks my hands. I walked into a Lush store for the first time and said "help me! I have hospital hands!" and showed her my cracked, red, irritated hands. She immediately pointed me to Helping Hands. She washed my hands with Sea Salt Scrub and coated them in Helping Hands and I was SHOCKED at the difference!
My sales associate was so sweet, she even gave me a travel size container to fill so I could keep it on me at work. My coworkers love it, too. When the coffee has been made, we take the remaining grounds, and scrub our hands with them for exfoliation and then give them a coat of Helping Hands. The difference is amazing.
Every time I go into Lush, I have to ask the associate for a bunch of the travel size containers to fill with Helping Hands because my coworkers keep asking me for them!

I have only been using this product for a day and have already noticed differences! I've applied it a couple times after washing my hands throughout the day and began to realize that I don't even have to apply it as often because my hands feel moisturized even AFTER washing them. That fact alone is enough reason for me to keep buying.
This stuff really lasts and has a nice floral but subtle scent.

My only complaint is that it's a little greasy for my taste at first but once it absorbs, it feels silky.

i really wouldn't know whether or not this stuff works well; it smells so gross i can't even bring myself to use it. i actually hate the smell. can't toss it because i paid so much for it. however, i did offer it to a friend at work to use when she had a bit of a rash on her neck. it did seem to calm it, so for that i gave one star.
