Honey I Washed The Kids Soap
Best-selling honey toffee soap-sation
Honey I Washed the Kids is one of our best-selling soaps because it’s simply irresistible. People who fully intended to walk past a LUSH shop find themselves unable to resist its sweet caramel fragrance. You’ll inhale, drool, pick up a big chunk and immediately want to wash yourself all over with it. It’s so gentle, buttery and scrumptious you’ll have a hard time keeping it to yourself. The honey water and aloe are so softening and moisturizing, you can use our toffee-scented sensation on the whole family.
- The Bee’s Knees: We use real Canadian honey and beeswax in every batch of our honey temptation.
- Sweetly Scented: Sweet orange oil gently perfumes your skin as you wash away.
- What the Buzz: Sore, sensitive skin will benefit from softening honey water and aloe.

Q:Is the beeswax in the soap or just on top? I'm allergic. Thank you!Asked on 5/24/2015 by Christian from WV
A:I wouldn't recommend using Honey I Washed The Kids soap if your allergic to beeswax. Unfortunately there's no guarantee that you won't have a reaction to the product, if your looking a moisturizing soap I would check out Sultana of Soap.Answered on 5/26/2015 by Alexander from Lush Direct
Q:Does this product expire?Asked on 9/15/2014 by Elise
A:Freshness is very important to us and we recommend using our products as fresh as possible for best results. Soap is alkaline and will not spoil. That said, the oils that make it smell and feel the way it does will evaporate overtime and it will not smell or feel the same as using it when it is fresh. We recommend using our solid products within 14 months.Answered on 9/25/2014 by Anonymous
Q:When I saw that this soap was honey and toffee scented, I was very happy. However, wouldn't honey and/or toffee leave grease/oils on the skin?Asked on 7/7/2014 by Bubbly from Washington DC
A:Absolutely not! Honey rinses clean away, and the toffee scent is actually a blend of other ingredients that create a sweet toffee scent when mixed together with honey. Honey I Washed the Kids is one of our best-selling products both for the scent, and the feeling on the skin that it leaves!Answered on 9/25/2014 by Melissa S from LUSH Direct
A:I haven't had a problem with any greasy residue, and the soap does actually
smell like honey and toffee. The only thing to watch out for is the
honeycomb on top, it can be kind of sharp if you don't peel it off before
using the soap.Answered on 7/7/2014 by Anonymous
A:It leaves no greasy or oily feeling.
Smells and works great.

Q:what is the fragrance made from?Asked on 5/27/2014 by Marisa
A:Thanks Marisa for the great question! The fragrance for Honey, I Washed the Kids soap comes from the honey used in the soap and as well as the sweet orange oil!Answered on 9/12/2014 by Pauline from Vancouver
Q:Does lush have a body lotion or butter or perfume that smells like honey I washed the kidsAsked on 1/9/2014 by laney from pa
A:The Soft Coeur massage bar does have the same scent make up so it pairs lovely over Honey I Washed the Kids. The massage bar is very moisturizing as well!Answered on 3/14/2014 by Melissa S from LUSH Direct
A:The Soft Coeur massage bar is so, so similar and you can definitely use it like a lotion.
It also contains honey but also has almond oil, shea butter, cocoa butter...and it's edible (especially good since Honey I Washed The Kids already looks so tempting to take a bite of).Answered on 1/30/2014 by Maemi from Toronto, ON
A:I've never tried any of the lotions/body butters but from the descriptions I've read I haven't seen any so far

Q:i've tried honey i washed the kids and i LOVED the smell of the soap, but it didn't smell on my skin. is it supposed to leave a scent on your skin or is it just my stubborn skin?Asked on 8/28/2013 by Ryan
A:While the solid soaps are quite scented when using them, this scent does not tend to linger very long on the skin as it diffuses into the air and leaves your skin.Answered on 10/28/2013 by Kendra M from LUSH Direct
A:My boyfriend loves this and so do I. It has the strong beautiful smell before using but the smell does faint a little after showering and wiping down. The scent should still be there but a little lighter. Do you use lotion after? If so, that could be the reason. If not, try to use cold wanter rinse after soaping. I find that it helps for some reason compared to using warm water.Answered on 10/18/2013 by Elysia the daily Lush store visitor from Honolulu, HI
Q:why it is vegetarian not vegan?Asked on 4/9/2013 by yoyo
A:Honey I Washed the Kids is vegan because it contains honey, which is an animal byproduct.Answered on 9/16/2013 by Melissa S from LUSH Direct
A:Vegans can't use any animal products, which includes honey. So basically, they can't use this soap. If you are vegan, though, Lush has a selection of other products that are vegan. Hope this helps :)Answered on 6/16/2013 by LUSHLOVER from San Francisco, CA
Q:I love this soap, but I have trouble getting much of a lather from it with a washcloth. What is the best way to get this to lather?Asked on 2/26/2013 by Rowan from Washington, DC
A:The best way to lather up with Honey I Washed the Kids is the same way that you would with any bar of soap! Some customers tend to experience less lather than a conventional soap may provide, but it does a great job of cleaning regardless!Answered on 9/20/2013 by Brandy from LUSH
A:I just use this soap straight on my skin and I get a perfect lather with it. If you're using the washcloth for exfoliation, the honeycomb on top of the soap is perfect for that.Answered on 3/10/2013 by Brandon from Colorado
Q:What is the honeycomb on top of the soap made of?Asked on 6/9/2012 by Courtney
A:It's made of sheets of beeswax and honey!Answered on 6/12/2012 by Megan from LUSH
