I wanted to like this as I love all the rose smelling goodies in Lush. This however was so overpowering. I had to return it as it gave me such a headache, actually more of a migraine. I thought the first time I had applied too much but even one squirt had me paranoid that I had smelt like I had tipped the bottle over me. I don't consider myself to have sensitive skin but this also burned my skin. I smelled roses but chemical ones.

I am a perfume collector and this perfume is by far the best perfume I own! (I own many) There is something so elegant about this perfume. It makes me happy if I'm have a bad day. The rose smell instantly makes me feel beautiful whenever I wear it. I also get so many compliments when I wear it and that is always a plus!

i am obsessed with rose perfumes. i'm one of the few people that actually love the "old lady perfume" rose scent. I was so excited to try this one out, i bought the solid and i'm so in love. it is more modern than the afore mentioned "old lady perfume" and it smells so good on my skin. i feel like it is younger, fresher, and more playful than rose scents of old. i kept swiping it on and sniffing my wrists, i seriously love this and it is my official signature scent

I started with the solid perfume one for mom, then one for me, and now we're up to the full size atomizer. Every time I buy some for mom, I'm the best most perfect daughter ever :D The scent is like a real rose petal and so soft and pretty - the best part is that it blends with your own natural scent to become unique.

I ordered several sample perfumes from LUSH to find a new, light everyday scent. I thought the rose smell would be great for the office. I love rose smells but have stopped wearing them due to the fact that my husband has a hard time picking up the scent. I have purchased rose purfumes, room sprays, candles.... my husband cant smell them!!! So when I purchased this scent IT WAS NOT FOR HIM.... but know it is! The first day I wore the scent he LOVED it. He could barrly keep his hands off me.
It definatly smells like roses. I cant really pick up the powder smell, which is good for me. I was affraid the powder smell might make it to mature smelling for my taste (im 23). Instead I get this incredibly rich honey smell when it mixes with my skin (thats why I suggest using it with the flying fox and bare naked lady. It balances the rose and honey smell).
All in all... I will not use imogen rose for the office... It is to strong and sexy... however I did find a lovely scent to wear on date nights and when I want to feel extra sexy. Im buying a bigger bottle to keep on my night stand.... at my husbands request.

I tried the smallest size of this perfume along with several others, as a kind of make-your-own sampler pack, and this was the odd one out. Normally I go for more woody or citrusy scents, but I wanted something I could wear to my cosmetics-retail job without my boss getting on my case about smelling too masculine. This definitely did the trick. I like that it smells like real roses, even if the baby powder makes it a little overly sweet for me. After a few hours, it warmed up and started to smell vaguely like sandalwood, and I started to appreciate it a lot more. And it lasted throughout the day! Even if this isn't perfectly in line with my personal tastes, it served exactly the purpose I bought it for. And my boyfriend, who normally hates perfume, said he liked it, so that's something.

I love this perfume, and think it is an accurate portrayal of the best rose scent possible. The second I smelled it, I had to have some. It reminds me a lot of "Rosebud Salve" which is a childhood memory because my grandparents had some that they used on cuts and I later used it as lip gloss. It reminds me of my grandparents, and it brings back great memories of my childhood with them, which is all I have of them now. I want to say thank you to LUSH for making something so wonderful and thank you Simon!! It's simply amazing stuff!

I fell in love with this scent when I came across it in the store. It reminds me of two of my favorite LUSH products, a pop in the bath and the olive branch. I just wish it wasn't more expensive than my Chanel perfume. I would wear this every day, if I could. for now, I save it for special days.

I really like this. Some rose scents are heavy or "old-lady" smelling, but this one is not. It is also not too strong.

This smells lovely in the bottle, soft and innocent. It also lasts most of the day.
However, it did not smell good on my skin. I think I will use this to scent linens and possibly my clothes, so its still useful.

I received this in the sampler pack. I really wish it has a stronger, more complex rose scent. it smells more like sweet baby powder, not a scent for a grown woman. I'm inclined to wear it with citrus scented products to try and duplicate the amanopondo/ring of roses scent, although the lack of true rose makes it less than ideal for this use.

I really wanted to like this fragrance. I love roses and Lush's Turkish Delight body wash is my favorite thing in the world. Unfortunately, this fragrance didn't smell anything like roses on me. Instead, it smelled very strongly of baby powder. I tried to wash it off, because the smell was overpowering everyone around me, but it wouldn't come off! I'm very disappointed that this fragrance didn't work with my skin chemistry. Definitely try it on in the store before you buy it!

Let me start off my saying that I'm not very knowledgable about perfumes, nor do I have a discerning nose for smelling them. That said, here is my opinion about Imogen Rose.

Growing up, the only rose scent I knew was my great grandmother who wore it every single day. While Imogen Rose has the same rose base, there is no way I'd compare the two. I might not even picture this worn by a fairy tale princess - it's a little more grown-up/realistic than that.

Imogen Rose goes on pretty strong - don't be scared. It softens up within about 15 minutes. It's distinctive and rosy and so uncomplicated that I don't feel like it's too complex for me to enjoy.

I've started putting it on after my morning workout & shower, but it fades well before work is over. I bought this as part of the set of small samples, and it is one of the ones I think I'll order more of.

This is the best smelling stuff ever! I LOVE the smell of roses, and boy does this baby deliver! There is truly no downside to this scent, unless you hate roses of course, but if you love them as much as I do you'll love this!

Straight from the bottle this has a wonderful REAL rose smell that I can't get enough of. Sadly, it fades into a strange baby powder fragrance. I won't buy it again because I can't stand baby powder.

If you don't mind a powder smell, you'll love this!

This is going to be a great product to use when I travel - which is way more than I want. I hate to carry perfume in glass so this little solid dothingie is the bomb! I am quite partial to rose scents, and this one is subtle but nice. I think I am in love! Way to go Lush - now put a store over by me in Reno or Tahoe please so I don't have to drive 5 hours to shop - going to the shoppe is so much more fun than online shopping!
