I love this solid perfume. Its just heavenly. A very tiny bit goes a long way. Its very potent. I was shocked to read one review that said the scent was too light! Its the most potent and intensely scented rose perfume I've ever tried. The scent lasts a long time, with an lingering scent of rose infused with baby powder. Two of my favorite fragrances in a combination straight from heaven. It just makes me feel so happy to wear it.

I got this for Christmas. It smelled mildly like rose in the tube so I put some on each wrist. After that no one in the room could come near me for about half an hour because the strong citrus and 'mix of icky' smell was so bad.. after that time the aroma calmed down to faintly resemble rose for the next 15 minutes or so and then just disappeared altogether. What a waste of money. I'd be embarrassed to give this to anyone!

My only complaint is that it's just too light in this solid format. However, I'd rather have perfume that's too light than stuff that is overpowering and never goes away. Mixes really well with other stuff.

I love this rosey scent! The reviewers that call it "powdery" may not realize that rose is the original powder scent. I like this scent for around the lower brassiere strap area and up the sternum, it gives nice all day scent control in that area due to its emulsified crayon-like state. For the rest of me I layer it with Lust.

I use the solid Imogen Rose every time that I leave my house! It is the best thing I have ever smelled. I get more compliments on it than any other perfume I have ever worn. This will forever be my signature scent. My only con is that it turns your skin a little pink where you apply it, but that could just be because I am very pale.

I can't say enough good things about this fragrance! When I purchased this, I was looking for a scent that wasn't too abrasive or alcohol-y but that was definitely noticeable and lasted a long time. "Imogen Rose" smells really fresh and natural, with no hint of chemicals. The smell is floral and girlie; it works excellently as a signature, everyday fragrance. As silly as it may sound, I feel pretty every time I put "Imogen Rose" on. To use, I gently press/rub the perfume into the inside of my wrists, the inside of my elbows, and on my neck just below my ears.

I should have heeded all the reviews that mentioned the baby powder scent or sampled it at a store first - but it's such a pain to get to a nearby store. So I purchased online and hoped... when it arrived and I smelled it in the tube, the rose smell was gorgeous, but there was definitely a lot of baby powder scent going on. When I put it on, the rose scent was overpowered by the baby powder and then completely disappeared. Every time I moved, I kept catching the smell of nothing but baby powder. I just attempted to use it one more time, but now, even smelling it in the tube, the rose scent is COMPLETELY gone. I tried putting it on, again, hoping it might warm up on my skin and the rose would come back out but nope... all I have now is a tube of baby powder solid perfume. Hugely disappointed. I do not like this stuff AT ALL. I'd give it zero stars, if I could. (Mind you, it's not *me*. I've tried a few other pure rose solid scents that worked out great. But they were all really expensive - and clearly, for a reason. Some of them faded after a few hours and I'm fine with reapplying, so long as it doesn't fade and become nothing but baby powder. I cannot figure out why they would add baby powder to this, anyway??)

I have been using this perfume every few days after I realized that I was sensitive to my regular perfume. This not only smells amazing and lasts well but it is easy on my skin! It really does smell like roses, too.

You can wear this perfume every day and never feel like you're annoying people around you. My nose is often irritated by other, less natural perfumes, but not the LUSH perfumes. The smell is a natural powdery floral scent, very classic, and not overpowering. You might have to reapply at some point during the day, but it is easy enough to keep in your bag.

I bought this solid perfume and Tuca Tuca solid perfume today, and found the scents to be somewhat similar. But Imogen Rose has a more classic smell that I can see myself wearing for years to come. It's very subtle, not too over powering, and the color is so pretty! Good thing that pretty color doesn't rub off on my clothes though! I can't stop smelling myself.... Thank you, Lush!

Ok, so I absolutely love this sent. I like solid perfumes because you can just rub it on and go or put in your purse if you want an extra kick of scent after a long day. Any perfume I use has to have a rose scent. And I was looking for a sorta more earthy scent which is how it smells on my skin which I absolutely love. Anything rose is kinda my signature scent which is ironic since my name is Imogen. It must have been fate!

I'm with Simon, as it says up under "true to the rose": normally I'm so disappointed when I smell something "rose" scented. It's almost always artificial, too much of a perfume in the bad sense. It never smells like real roses.Except in the case of Imogen Rose. This perfume truly smells like fresh-blooming, dewy roses on a spring morning. It's a soft scent, but not so much that you can't smell it at all. It just smells natural and feminine. Gorgeous!

I bought this about 4 days ago at Lush, and I've worn it every day since. I put it on my wrists and my neck, and it's perfectly delicate and doesn't stink up a whole room. I will try other solids too, but this is a promising first pick!

The smell is wonderful, you first get a whiff of a true rose smell, no fake smells here. You then get a whiff of what smells like baby powder, but what's wonderful about this scent is that it continually changes from rose to a powder scent. However you have to be careful about how much you put on. Also it melts VERY easily, and only after holding it in my hand for about five minutes, it had become a semi-solid and was unstable and squishy, and even after putting it in the fridge for over night, it still seemed to be in its semi-solid state. I improvised and now just apply it by rubbing some in the tip of my finger and then applying it where ever I need it or want it. Over all great scent, but maybe change the ratio of meltable materials and other ingredients.

If you don't have a chance to smell before you buy, just know that it smells just like fresh roses. I love it! It has a genuine, earthy smell that I never get tired of...it doesn't smell fake/cheesy at all. The solid is also a plus because you can apply it easily to exactly where you want. If you like rose scented things, you'll love this <3

I had a cousin who, when he was a small child, would say something was 'old fashion-did'. This perfume smells like old FASHIONED perfume. I actually do not have a problem with this. Popular, modern perfumes are too overly complicated for me. Not to mention, I cannot use them due to nasal allergies and sensitivity. I have no problems with this perfume allergy wise.

In regard to how closely this smells to an actual rose: I don't think it has quite the 'sharpness' as the flower, if that makes sense. This rose is cut with a powdery scent and a 'green' note.
