I bought it a while ago and finally used it last night. Probably because I didn't use it right after I received it, I couldn't really smell anything from it. There was only a very faint sweetish scent and I couldn't even tell it was candy-like or not. Bubbles last long and it turned water a bright pink (diva pink?). I used the whole bar for my bath and added my bath salt. After a 30min soak, my skin was not irritated at all and I have super sensitive skin so I guess the moisturizing effect is good. One thing I noticed this morning is it dyed my nails and cutides around my nails pink! I checked my bath tub but it didn't leave a pink ring. I don't normally mind artificial color but what happened this time really makes me feel wired (my hands look kind of wired now...=.=). I don't know whether I will buy it again.

I received this bubble bar from my mom for valentines day... At first I thought it was a okay scent it didn't make me want to dive right into the bath to use it. So today I decided to give it a try and boy am I happy I did. I have a jetted tub and only used about two hand fulls of my crumbled bar. My bath was overflowing and I loved it! I turned the water pink and the scent was light and gorgeous!! Now I have two more on their way!!!

This bar is SO vivid once it hits the water that it really didn't have to do much more to put a smile on my face. Awesomely it did, the scent is very delicate, fruity, and sweet. I just wish the scent lasted longer on skin. Compliments other sweet fragrances like Olive Branch.

Like others have said, it will arrive in NEON pink form. I think that makes it better.

I never smelled dates in this, though I guess *maybe* it has a very very faint fruit scent. It smells like clean. To be precise, it smells like the giant bottle of bubble bath my grandmother kept for me and my sister in our childhood. It's soft, clean, vaguely soapy. Not floral, not really a food scent, just a good clean bubble scent. I obviously have a very pleasant memory connected to the scent, maybe that's why I love it. I also find that this is one of the best bubbling bars that Lush makes.

I enjoyed the bubble bar.

I made the mistake of using the whole bar and ended up with more bubbles than I could handle. The scent was just as described and provided that true sweet treat that only a ripe, juicy piece of fruit can do. It was actually comforting. The bar did provide a nice softness to the water and subsequently to my skin.

This bar isn't like your favorite sexy dress that you pull out for a big night but more like that favorite tee or pair of jeans that feels just right almost anytime.

This is the first LUSH product that I used that i was disappointed in. There were barely any bubbles and i ended up using the whole bar since the first half i used did not make enough bubbles and the bubbles that i did get were gone within 5 minutes. Plus there wasnt really any smell to it. I did like the color of the water..kind of a neon pink so that was nice but wouldnt buy this again.

I prefer baths without the bubbles but decided to try Lush's bubble bars since I like so many other products. I actually purchased this bar BECAUSE of the reviews on lack of scent AND LOVE IT. I wish I had divided my bar into three instead of two pieces. I used half the bar, had tons of frothy bubbles with a very light, clean scent, and the bath left my skin silky smooth. Try this out if, like me, you prefer less strongly scented products. Thanks, Lush!

This bubble bar was kind of disappointing. I LOVE the color. It's very bright and fun... and girly! It looks like you're putting neon liquid in the bath! The smell, however, was non-existent. Honestly this is the first product I've ever had that didn't really have any trace of smell - in the bar OR in the bath. Maybe I got a dud?

I'm kind of "eh" about this bubble bar. It has a lovely sweet smell, but it wasn't anything special. It didn't color the water the bright pink I'd read it was supposed to and the scent wasn't very strong. I cocktailed it with a half a Creamy Candy bath melt and that actually helped make the bath better.

It's a Date makes me smile. It's a friendly, fruity fragrance with only a little bit of sweetness. No toothaches. Just happy, tuttifrutti pink goodness. Not too strong or overpowering so I use the whole bar but that's just me and my tub is rather large.

I didn't get any scent from this at all, not even a little bit. I even called my husband to come sniff the bubbles and he didn't smell anything either. My water didn't turn a pale pink or any color at all. It did bubble well but I really need some scent and color to be happy :)

I was expecting this to smell like the creamy candy bubble bar, it was the complete opposite. This is more fruity than sweet. I only used half the bubble bar & got lot's of bubbles. This did not scent my skin or the bathroom that is why I took off 1 star. This is still a nice bubble bar, I'm trying to get more before the retros are over.

I first received this one with the Lost Loves gift box, loved it, and purchased another one as soon as it came out with retro line. It's very fragrant, dyes the water a lovely pink, lingers on the skin, and produces quite a lot of bubbles. Also, I think the date on top is a very cute and unique touch. It more than made up for the unfortunate Kiss Me Klimt that also came with that set.

Lots of bubbles in pale pink water yet the sweet and fruity scent seems to fade quickly.
