Apply generously to dry hair, leave on for 20 to 30 minutes, and then shampoo out. Use about a quarter of a pot for short hair, or about half a pot for longer hair. Those with very long hair should use the whole pot. (Yes, it is a lot, but the effects are long lasting and well worth the investment.)

Q:Do you recommend applying this to recently washed hair and or damp hair?Asked on 2/24/2015 by Shauna from United States
A:We recommend applying our hair treatments to dry hair! When the hair strand is dry, it absorbs the product way better. When hair is wet or damp, the hair strand is already full of water and won't be able to absorb the product as well. Dry hair all the way!Answered on 2/27/2015 by Meg from LUSH Direct
A:I don't see why applying the henna fluff ease to damp hair would be a
problem, as long you rinse it out. I have always applied it to my hair when
dry. It's a wonderful treat for your hair and the smell lasts forever! Hope
this helps!Answered on 2/24/2015 by Anonymous
A:I used this as a pre-treatment...I only used it on dry hair prior to washing and conditioning my hair. I don't see why you wouldn't use it after shampooing as a conditioner... I just never used it in that manner.

Q:what is the best shampoo to use after this treatment? lush or not lush related shampoos.
ive tried to match scents when i use lush because im huge on smelling like one thing not six.Asked on 1/13/2015 by EllenMcLemon from Metairie, LA
A:We have a fabulous new shampoo bar called Copperhead, which pairs wonderfully with the Jasmine and Henna Fluff Ease. It even contains a little bit of henna as well to promote shine.Answered on 2/15/2015 by Melissa S from LUSH Direct
A:I used the Godiva shampoo bar and I think it pairs wonderfully. My hair was clean and soft and shiny and after it dried, it still had a beautiful Jasmine scent that wasn't overpowering but still lasted into the next day. I also used the American Cream conditioner which smelled more like vanilla sugar but that scent didn't seem to stick to my hair but it did condition well. I hope this helps! :)Answered on 1/30/2015 by Shay from South Georgia
Q:Could I add powder Henna to JHFE?Asked on 1/28/2014 by j3ss1caL from Charlotte, NC
A:We don't recommend adding ingredients to any of our products, as they are formulated to be used as is, and by adding anything you could be compromising the ingredients already in the products. This is especially true for preserved products, as we use the lowest amount of preservatives we can, and additional ingredients could change the effectiveness of those preservatives.Answered on 3/22/2014 by Melissa S from LUSH Direct
Q:Is there a specific reason one should only leave the product in for 20-30 minutes or can it be left in overnight?Asked on 12/1/2013 by Megan from Milwaukee, WI
A:The 20-30 is just the recommended time to keep this product in ones hair. If you would like to keep it on overnight, that is perfectly okay!Answered on 12/8/2013 by Anonymous
A:Hello! I started leaving it in overnight this summer. In a humid climate
it stays damp, in a dry climate it dries completely, but the overall effect
is similar. It feels awesome after you wash it out the next morning. I
have fine, blonde hair that curls depending on the amount of humidity.
With this stuff, even in the dry high desert I live in, I have my ringlets
and waves for days. Plus, the longer soak time means it smells like
jasmine longer. Enjoy!Answered on 12/3/2013 by Anonymous
Q:Would this product loosen the curl pattern of coily/natural hair?Asked on 10/4/2013 by Gran from New York
A:This hair treatment is great for moisturizing the hair, which can help to smooth out flyaways or frizzy hair, but it does not contain ingredients known to affect the structure of the hair that dictates curl.Answered on 10/4/2013 by Brandy from LUSH
Q:Is there any chance this will stain my bleach-blonde hair?Asked on 8/4/2013 by Cassie from New York, NY
A:Jasmine & Henna can be used on any hair colour! The henna in the mask helps provide shine and gloss to your hair, but won't dye it!Answered on 9/25/2013 by Anonymous
Q:Can this be used as a shampoo?Asked on 7/10/2013 by ImKind A. Curious from Chicago, IL
A:We don't recommend using the hair treatments as shampoos. A great shampoo to use if you like Jasmine and Henna Fluff Ease is our rich Blousey shampoo which is super moisturizing and conditioning.Answered on 9/20/2013 by Megan from LUSH Direct
Q:Can I use this product daily, if I use just a little bit? or will it weigh down my hair?Asked on 4/25/2013 by Karina the Hair Scientist
A:It's best to use this hair treatment once every second day at the most, regardless of the amount used; this gives the hair a chance to really take in the effects of the ingredients. Henna is great for adding shine and reducing flyaways, without weighing the hair down too much!Answered on 9/24/2013 by Brandy from LUSH
Q:After you use and rinse, do you shampoo and condition you hair? Or do you rinse and then your done?Asked on 7/31/2012 by Natalie from Miami, Fl
A:We generally recommend shampooing and conditioning after using the hair treatments, to make sure that they are thoroughly rinsed from your hair. However, if you feel that it's sufficiently rinsed out with just water, then there is no need to use shampoo or conditioner. (It does need to be rinsed out though!)Answered on 7/31/2012 by Laura from LUSH
Q:Can this product be used with non-henna chemically colored hair?Asked on 2/6/2012 by Anonymous from Santa Cruz, CA
A:This product can be used on all hair types.Answered on 2/9/2012 by Community Answer from None
A:Yes. This doesn't strip color, just adds moisture, and while the henna in the treatment won't color your hair, it might bring out your highlights.Answered on 4/21/2012 by Sam from Grand Rapids, MI
A:I used it without any problems and I box color my hair with John Freida hair dye.Answered on 5/12/2012 by u2girlie from CT, USA
A:The Jasmine and Henna Fluff Ease is suited to enhancing henna treated hair but works just fine on all other hair types too. The jojoba, almond, Brazil nut and extra virgin coconut oil all help to add shine and moisture so should be fine as a deep conditioning treatment for dyed hairAnswered on 8/30/2012 by Anonymous
Q:Will the henna in this product stain or dye my hair?Asked on 1/15/2012 by haleyandthesoph from CT
A:The henna in this hair moisturizing treatment is an infusion rather than a dye. This means it's made more like a tea with a smaller amount of leaves plus lots of water. We use it in this product just for its lovely shine qualities, and the amount included should not be enough to affect the hair's colour- only it's shine and softness!Answered on 1/30/2012 by Megan from LUSH
Q:Does this product leave any type of red tint on hair that has been treated previously with henna?Asked on 1/12/2012 by Anonymous
A:No, the henna used in this one is more of an infusion rather than a proper dye. It's made similar to a tea, with a small amount of henna infusing a very large amount of water, so it won't affect the actual colour of the hair.Answered on 1/13/2012 by Megan from LUSH
Q:How often should I use this product?Asked on 1/10/2012 by Anonymous
A:You can use it as often as you like but you will notice that the effects last up to week. Using it a few times a month will keep your hair soft, smooth and smelling divine.Answered on 1/12/2012 by Anonymous
