This is both a complex and beautiful fragrance. It is a mix between spicy and citrusy in my opinion- not to heavy but not too light. It's just right. Do not let the patchouli description dissuade you. I am not a hippie and have never liked patchouli oil at ALL. I was amazed when some friends told me I smelled like it. I originally bought the bubble bar. It quickly rose to my all-time favorite. Karma is where it's at. The only reason I gave it a 4 over a 5 is because I want it to last longer when I wesr it.

Karma is my signature fragrance!!! I absolutely LOVE the scent of this perfume and repeatedly receive compliments on it. Whatever the product, be it shampoo, cream or soap, if its scented Karma, its as good as mine!!!

I have never liked patchouli. In the LUSH store, I didn't bother smelling this scent because I'd read "made for hippies..." and that was obviously not for me. I was checking out the bubble bars when I picked one out that I like. When I was told it had patchouli in it, I explained that was strange because I hate that scent. One use of the bubble bar and the next day, I was ordering Karma Solid Perfume! This is my new signature scent. It's amazing, it's sexy, but fun, sure it's a little hippy, but it's got a trendy and fresh vibe with it. I can't get enough of it and my husband thinks it smells amazing too! I'm a Karma fanatic now! I love the solid because it's so easy to carry along with me whereever I go, it has a subtle scent that seems to last very well. If you aren't sure what to get and have been looking, I'd start with this one!

I fell in love with the Karma bubble bars so much so that I kept going into my bathroom just to smell it. I wanted to rub the bars all over my skin to get the scent on me. That's when I knew that I should probably look into buying the perfume. I could barely smell the solid stick perfume when I tried it in the store, but I could definitely smell the perfume. Now I smell JUST like the Karma bubble bar and I couldn't be happier. I normally don't go for fruity perfumes, I'm more of a woody/oriental, but there is just something about Karma that was me hooked!

ever since I dscovered LUSH way back when, the Karma shampoo has been one of my go to products. I loved the scent of it, and got tons of compliments from it.

Now, it's bottled. (it's been bottled for some time apparently.. I have no Lush stores near me, so....) this smells exactly like the shampoo bar. so if you love that, you'll love this.

I found i preferred the liquid incarnations of this more than I liked the solid perfume. the spritzer (the inbetween size) seems to have a slight powdery scent to it, which is not unpleasant.

Love it. a great signature scent, great for ever day, all the time stuff, but still unique enough to wear when you go out. a good multi purpose scent.

I have allergies and when it come to perfume I have a horrible time finding one that I love AND that doesn't bother MY allergies let alone my mom's as I see her often. Even just walking past someone on the streat with the wrong perfume destroys my allergies.I first heard of lush when I was in Germany. My sister took me to your shop in Hamburg and I loved your products. From then on my mom and I shopped at your store in Scottsdale Az. I stumbled upon Olive Branch and I LOVED IT! Then you discontinued it and I was sad. I tried your other scents and about died-not literally but I was hurting for a couple days AND in the shower as I had to scrub to get it off. But I tried Karma and I truly love it!:) It's SO awesome!:) The part I DON'T like is your price. Seriously?! 1 oz? $42+ bucks?! You are kidding me right? I went to the mall yesterday with my brother where he bought a cologne at [@] and BOTH were a better price for MORE product. Tell me, why in the world would I drive 2+ hours away for a small amount of product for a ridiculous amount of money? I like Karma but not at all that much. I quit shopping through Lush due to conflicts with ethics-I did not like what Lush was backing and pushing customers to follow (defacing the Canadian flag in Britain among many other issues.) After a couple years I felt maybe Lush is better...I think I will stick with Avon where I can get a scent I like, it doesn't bother my allergies nor my moms, AND it's only $14.50-well 2 for $12 right now. Sounds like an awesome deal and some extra change in my pocket:)

I just bought the middle-sized tube of karma yesterday and I am literally in love. It smells so warm and spicy but sweet and citrus-infused at the same time. It's not too overpowering, but it will last you the whole day! I use karma soap and sympathy for the skin daily, and with this perfume I have such a lovely scent story going on! I definitely LOVE this product and if you're on the fence about buying the big bottle but know that you love the scent, I would recommend the medium-sized tube to you, just as my local LUSH rep did to me! That way you can decide to go heavier in scent (to the large bottle) or lighter (to the solid perfume) without committing to $40 of product. :)

I have been using Karma for many years and I am a Karma Devotee. However, the new bottle leaks and leaves a black film on my hands. Please fix the bottle because I am running out and need more Karma. Good Karma.

I remember spraying Karma for the first time & thinking I wasn't sure if I would like it considering how strong the citrus and high notes of patchouli were. After about an hour though I caught a whiff of the deep patchouli and earthy tones. I was hooked. This fragrance makes me feel like the hottest hippie in town! try it, you'll love it!

I went into Lush for the first time today and my experience was wonderful. The shop was small but smelled heavenly. A sales associate walked me through a few scents but Karma is the one that caught my attention. I used a solid in the store but bought the perfume (bottle). I spritzed some on my hand and was in love. On me it smells a bit more like citrus candy but it's also earthy and wholesome. This happened hours ago and I've washed my hands since then but I can still smell the perfume. This one's a winner, folks. I simply had to walk back to LUSH and tell the ladies how much I loved the scent.

I sprayed Karma on my pressure points because the heat from max. circulation. Individuals who smelled me adored the fragrance on my skin, however I am one who likes to smell fragrances on themselves. If I can't smell, it is not effective as a fragrance. I just wish the Karma perfume was strong enough to avoid having to layer. Not that I mind that though.

I also use the Kara soap which is VERY nice. I spray the perfume on after my shower. The scent is quite strong at first, but it does fade a bit throughout the day. I've gotten my friend's addicted to it to. I have had strangers ask me what I am wearing and I tell them how and where to buy it.....great scent!

I LOVE this fragrance (as a 50 something!)and use it whenever I wear perfume. However... the bottle is awful and leaks, thus losing the precious perfume! I realized this when my cosmetic bag smelled fabulous after a plane trip! Please fix that bottle!

i first bought the soap, after smelling it while i was walking past the store in Towson Center.... Every day when i used the soap, i was like, man, i want to smell like this ALL day! I was leafing thru the catalog when i saw - surprise! FRAGRANCEs! and Karma was at the top of the list! I ran to the mall and bought it! it's a very clean, earthy scent, and not too patchouly, if you know what i mean.

i wash my hair w the shampoo which makes my hair smell great(wish they had a conditioner) i love the body cream after my shower and i love my perfume but do not like the new black bottle.. i dont like the black bottle bc i can not see how much is left in the bottle and when i need to purchase more until it is empty.. liked the other bottle better so i started buying the stick.. i like that too.

Karma body wash (limited edition) was given to me as a gift. I loved the smell so much that I went and bought the perfume as soon as I could. I see that a lot of the people who have reviewed this product are women. As a man, I can say that this is a great scent for men as well. On my skin, the smell is very earthy and slightly sweet. Guys, I don't mean candy sweet; think woodsy with notes of cinnamon/orange. I've smelled it on other men and it truly does take on a different personality depending on the wearer.

I got the Karma solid stick and thought the packaging was pretty cool. I read that some other people have had some problems advancing the stick, but you just press the bottom really gently so you don't push it up too much. It's kind of like a push-up pop, even more so because it's orange! The color doesn't seem to get on anything too much--it seems to kind of melt in--but I also haven't worn it with anything white. My mom thought it was a little overpowering but I can't get enough!

Karma is awesome. I love perfume, and try many types from many manufacturers, and Karma is my absolute favorite. It smells ancient, and mysterious, and like it emanates from deep within. There are always many positive comments when I wear it. Occasionally people will identify it as a patchouli based scent, but most just inhale and say it smells great. And it so does! Unlike most perfumes, it smells great both right up close and a few feet away. It's intoxicating. I layer the perfume spray with the soap and the body cream at home, and then I have Karma solids stashed all over the place for refreshing- in my car, in my desk, in my handbag, in my yoga mat bag. The only negative thing is the orange color of the solid- it stains things if you don't rub it into your skin really, really well. I think it's pricey, but I also think it is worth every cent.

This is one of the most interesting scents I've ever smelled and I fell in love, slowly but surely. I was sure it wasn't for me when I smelled patchouli, a scent I've NEVER been fond of. Lo and behold, just being in the store 3 or 4 times I fell in love with Karma, AND did it ever smell good on me. Now I have the solid Karma , for the ends of my hair, the Karma solid shampoo, Karma Kream, Karma soap and last, but definately not least, the Karma perfume. I use Karma even if I have no where to go, just so I can enjoy the scent. By the way, I get compliments every where I go...even my Dr. liked it!! so...if you're not a pine or patchouli lover, give it a try anyway, you may just surprise yourself (and others)!
