I bought this because I became obsessed with he Karma shampoo bar's smell and wanted the rest of me to smell this way. It smells strong and almost sugary candy like, but after I shower the smell and my body chemistry meld into something more spicy and much better then the pure bar. I like it, but I'll probably get something different next time, as this does not smell quite like the shampoo.

Love the smell of this stuff! Can dry out skin, at least on me it can, but use lots of Karma Cream and no drying issues... smell great all day long.

You convinced me to try Karma and I am totally and hopelessly in love with this scent.
I'm not a big fan of 'hippy' or oriental heavy scents and that was my idea of Karma. Since I don't have a Lush store nearby I just read the descriptions online and try to 'imagine' the scent.
The patchouli part scared me a little but since so many people wrote they didn't like patchouli and still raved about Karma I gave in and bought it.
It's seriously addictive. It smells so good I go to the bathroom just to sniff it. I have other awesome Lush soaps but every time I use anything other than Karma I actually miss it. It's a little spicy, a little woodsy, a little orangey- perfect. Clean oriental. I can't wait to use up my pepperminty shampoo so I can buy Karma Komba. I wish the smell lingered longer on the skin but after using soap and lotion I can actually smell it on my clothes, which is awesome.

i was so disappointed with this soap. i'm a huge citrus fan and always love wearing orange and tangerine essential oils and i add a bit of patchouli to them so i thought i'd love this. When i opened this the smell of putrid dive bar bathroom smacked me in the face. it was so nasty but i tried it anyways. the smell was so chemical on my skin that it made me nausiated. I was three times since and i can still smell it on my skin. YUCK@! but i guess it has staying power. \
I felt like i was washing with a urinal mint. The color was fake, the smell was fake, and the bar was weird and slippery.

The Karma soap has a wonderful fall forest smell, not a moist forest, but a dry forest in the middle of fall. I love this as a fall scent and soap, the fragrance stays on the skin but it isn't overwhelming or overpowering, you can just smell it when you stick your arm up to your nose. It is light enough that it doesn't overpower perfumes though. It isn't a scrubby soap, but it has a great lather and smoothing effect on the skin.

I liked this the first time I smelled it, but every time thereafter, I loathed the smell. It smelled even worse when used in the shower. It has a cloying smell that refuses to leave the bathroom. I was taking a bubble bath (Candy Bubblebar), and I caught a few whiffs of the karma soap...hours after it had been used. It was completely dry in the soap holder.

Karma soap is one of those things that you either fall in love with or vehemently hate. I, for one, hate it, and never want to smell patchouli ever again.

I still cannot believe this is the #1 soap on LUSH.

I absolutely adore the Karma line. I started with the solid perfume, then the Karma Kream, Karma Komba, and finally, the soap. My sensitive skin is soothed, my scalp is refreshed, and people hug me just to smell me. When they ask if I would recommend to a friend, I was torn! It's my signature scent! I leave the soap open in my bathroom to make it smell fabulous. There's nothing like a fragrance that makes me feel refreshed, grounded, and sexy from the moment I open it. And no sneeze inducing harsh chemicals. I'm an addict!!!

I love, love, love the Karma scent, so I had to try this soap. At first, it was fantastic - it lathered well, it smelled how I wanted it to, and it left a great subtle scent on my skin for the rest of the day. But after about a week the bar was almost gone, it didn't lather, and the scent was so bad it burned my nose. As the person below said, it just smelled like chemicals. I wouldn't buy it again as a shower soap because it just doesn't last - I might buy it as a hand soap in the future.

This is the "BESTEST" soap in the whole wide world! Excellent, excellent fragrance. On my way today to buy more. I get so many compliments when I use this soap. It's like a perfume and soap rolled up in one. It leaves the bathroom smelling sweet. I still have other soaps I'm using from Lush but this is by far my favorite.

I absolutely love patchouli and the first few times I used this soap I was in pure heaven! That was about 5 uses ago, now it's smaller in size and doesn't lather AT ALL. The smell smells horrible now and I cannot use it anymore! It smells like chemicals and makes me cringe. Now I just keep it in the shower and enjoy the smell of it when the steam brings it to my nose, but no way it's it going on my body. I am somewhat disappointed in this product.

This will be my third time that I order Karma Soap. It just leaves me so fragrant and feeling clean. The fragrances lasts for me. My soaps perfume my bathrooms. I just wish the pieces of soap were a whole lot bigger. I recommend Karma. I'm going to give the shampoo a try and the perfume.

I love everything Karma, I have super sensitive skin and I was afraid this would irritate my skin since the smell is kind of strong. This worked way better for me than the Dreamwash shower smoothie. Wow, I think I have been converted back to a solid soap bar user.

I received a free sample of this soap when I ordered some things a few weeks ago. I don't care for bar soaps and thought Karma would smell too...perfumy, so I never even considered trying it.

Best free sample ever. It smelled a lot sweeter than I expected (yay!) and I was surprised how soft it felt on my skin. I prefer using shower gels, but I'll happily finish my sample and consider purchasing a full bar if I ever decide to switch things up.

I really love the smell of this soap! I got it as a sample and at first wasn't too fond of the smell but it defiantly grew on me. I tried using it in the shower but it didn't lather all that well. I ended up using what was left of the sample as a hand soap and find myself smelling my hands all day because the scent is so addictive:)

I love the smell of this soap! I use it every day as a regular soap and, on occasion, I use it on my hair. To use Karma on my hair, I lather the bar of soap between my hands until there is a lot of suds, then scrub my hair like any other shampoo. It's very convenient when I travel because I only have to pack one item (besides my Coal Face, of course!).

The soap is very moisturizing, and, as I said before, the soap smells amazing. I always get compliments on it, especially when I also use a little Karma Kream. This combination is especially nice in the summer because it isn't too heavy.

The only downside to this product that I have found is that it will leave a slight filmy residue on my skin. This normally doesn't last long, though.

I got a sample of Karma soap with my first Lush purchase. It was the first soap from Lush I ever tried and its high on my list for Lush favorites. I'll be honest, when I very first smelled this soap it reminded me of an old lady or my grandmother. Not necessarily in a bad way. I was just expecting something different. I kept smelling it and then I realised it smells like a very nice somewhat floral incense. Its a very mature and unique smell but I love it. Even my 4 year old son loves this smell. I just ordred a bigger piece of it. I plan on trying everything Karma!

I bought this after using karma komba shampoo because I love this scent so much.

This is a decent soap. I would keep buying it mostly just for the scent, I don't find it lathers particularly well, and it doesn't really moisturize.

But it does its job, it cleans effectively and smells great.
