I used it for the first time because of rave reviews online and I have to say that I truly love this product and makes my skin so soft and smells amazing! I would totally repurchase.
Unfortunaly, when I left it on the floor for a second, my dog ate almost half the bar when I wasn't looking! So for any pet owners out there, please keep them out of reach...

I'm in my third trimester right now and use this on my expanding belly every time I take a shower. It's one of my must-have products! I love the soft, comforting scent, and how it moisturizes my skin. It is definitely a heavy moisturizer, but I don't find it to be too greasy, as it absorbs pretty easily for me. I would recommend this to anyone, but especially other pregnant mamas looking to moisturize their bellies and avoid stretch marks!

I really love this body butter. The climate is very dry here in Utah and during the winter, my skin gets very dry. I use it for my elbows and knees after a shower during the winter season. I am not too fond of the price, and it doesn't last long, that's why I use it for my elbows and knees only.

I live in Utah where the air is very dry, and we recently had an early winter storm. I have Fibromyalgia, that also dries my skin (among other issues). My skin became very sensitive and very painful. I walked into a LUSH store for help, and walked out with King of Skin. I started applying it to my skin in my car in the parking lot, and my skin felt better almost immediately. In the last several days I've covered my entire body twice, and seriously dry areas (like my arms) much more often. There is still alot of bar left. I feel so much better. It is a little greasy at first because I don't wash it off, but within 20 minutes my skin is super soft. It works better than any other lotion I've ever tried. My skin feels healthy, the pain is gone, and my significant other loves how soft and smooth my skin is. Thank you!!

My favorite Lush product! I use Kind of Skin in the shower, and it moisturizes so well that I don't have to put any lotion on until it's time for my next shower! When I first started using Kind of Skin, my husband commented on how smooth my skin felt! My only cons for this product is that it doesn't last long enough! But overall - GREAT product.

I really wanted to like this body butter. I just finished using Buffy, and it took some trial and error for me to find a way to use the body butters, I have a huge inability to handle feeling any kind of greasiness or oiliness. To be completely fair, I think my skin might not have been wet enough but I had some trouble getting it to rub on, then I ended up feeling very greasy. The smell is very light and I think most people would like it, but it smelled weird on me, I can't even describe it, I think maybe my body and lavander don't smell good together. I also would up itching from it later last night so I think there might be something in it my skin doesn't like. I think it's a great body butter, especially if you have really dry winter skin, but for me it was too much.

ATTENTION FOR ALL THOSE WITH COMPLAINTS ON THE GREASINESS, HEAR MY SUGGESTION! I am in LOVE with this body bar and have to switch up my nightly moisturizing routine with this and Dream Cream or Hottie so as to not use it all up in a week... The smell is so relaxing and imakes my skin feel like velvet. I will agree the only set back is waiting for it to absorb and the greasiness... Here's my solution: Keep King of Skin in the fridge so it's not so insta-melty, butter up, rub it in and let it absorb as much as you can.... Then take your Silky Underwear dusting powder and apply it on top of the butter. The powder will absorb the excess grease and you're left with the most relaxing, lovely mixture of scents. It seriously makes me feel like I'm wrapped in a robe made for a queen.

King of Skin really helps keep my skin baby soft. I use it right before I get out of the shower (after I shampoo and soap) and it replaces my lotion. I love using it after I use Aqua Mirabilis too. It makes my arms so smooth :) The smell is weird though, not bad, but weird. lol

This is my most favorite Lush product. I can't get enough of it. I always keep one in the shower and one on the shelf, that is until recently. My dog(s), see I have two small dogs, and they too have discovered a liking for this product. While I love it because it goes on well and it smells wonderful, and it makes my skin soft and so sexy to the touch. My dogs, it seems like the taste of it. One or both of them ate the whole thing! They took it from the closet and all that was left were a few small crumbs. I am happy to say that neither dog became even slightly ill so while I don't recommend you eat it, or even feed it to your dog, if it happens he or she will probably be OK. But PLEASE Lush, make a container for this product. I'd like to not share with my dog and I'd like to keep it dry in the shower to make it last longer (hence only four stars). Otherwise, this is a near perfect product!

Right off the bat, the point of this review is to say that this stuff is worth a try if you have itchy skin. I have terrible eczema all over. I'm 26 now and have tried just about everything since my outbreaks started as a child. My skin used to itch even when it felt moisturized to the touch; it was like it just wouldn't soak in the lotions I was trying to give it. After using this specific body butter, my skin finally feels soothed.

You should use it while in the shower still. I shave my legs FIRST, then rub the body butter over my skin. Then I rinse gently. It does feel a little greasy on my hands in the shower but that will soak in once your'e dry, so take care not to over-rinse once you see the water turn into beads on your skin. I blot my skin dry with a soft towel afterwards.

My skin always so amazing at this point but just because I know how fast it dries out, I top it off with a little of the "sympathy for skin" body lotion. I love this stuff too. It goes on smooth and leaves a hint of banana scent on your skin.

If you have dry, itchy skin, you seriously owe it to yourself to try this body butter! My skin has literally never felt so soft before and I've never ever seen it have an actual glow like it does now.

I really like this just make sure you dont use to much because the first time it smelled sooo good i put too much on and it got kinda greasy and it was sitting on my skin. A little goes along way!

This is the only body butter I have tried and I am so hooked! The scent is good as is the exfoliating, but what really got me is the moisturizing. I put it on in the shower on wet skin and then just lightly rinse off and pat dry. Afterwards, I do not have to apply lotion at all! I can feel it on my skin and my skin feels so hydrated all throughout the day and into the evening. This is a huge time saver for me in the morning because I can skip adding lotion on all together.

I am in love with this! My skin is very dry even during the summer. The issue is I never liked the idea of spreading the lotion over my body. This boby butter is less work and better moisturizes the skin than regular lotion.

I am from Japan, and I love taking hot bath every evening. After I get out from the bath tub, I circulate this over my body, soak myself in the bath tub again. and voila, my skin is supple. When I take a shower in the morning, I pause the shower, circulate this over my body, and quickly rinse my body. Then, I am done.

The scent is not too strong, so you don't need to worry about the destroying the scent of perfume you want to wear for the day. Please keep making this product!

I bought this two days ago and tried it after every shower when my skin was still damp with water. It went on smoother when my skin was slightly wet, but tended to be a bit rough on dry skin.

The smell is lovely, not too strong and different. My skin is the softest it has ever been in a long time! I love it!!

I am 34 weeks pregnant and have been worried from day one about stretch marks. My mom is crazy about Lush products and told me to use this and I have not one stretch mark! I love the smell because its very suttle. It is very mosterizing and leaves your skin feeling baby smooth! I would recommend this product to everyone!!!

This is my favorite Lush product ever. I haven't sampled everything (yet :-) but I really like this product. If you like smooth, silky skin then give this a try. It is the most awesome skin treatment ever. Yes you will feel some residue on your skin - some may think it's greasy... others like me appreciate the moisurizing properties. I just love it.

now that i have used this product, i don't think i can live my life without it! i use this at the end of my shower - i step out of the shower, dry off my hands, and glide this baby up and down my legs. rub it in, then rinse. my legs are gorgeous and silky smooth all day! the smell of the bar is pretty good too, i don't really know how to describe it, but i like it. everyone complains that this bar goes really fast, which is why i hesitated to try it for so long, but i've had mine for almost a month and it's not even half gone yet. you just have to store it well and make sure it is stored in a cool place and it doesn't go under hot water!

I love this product. I use it after I shave my legs, and it makes all the difference in the world, compared to ordinary body lotion. I can see how it gets a bad rap for being greasy, but after I dry off with a towel, I don't notice greasiness at all. If I use mange too after I dry off, yes, I'm greasy then. I recommend using both of them together if you're immediately going to bed. It takes a while for my skin to absorb both of them used together, so rather than grease up my clothes, I greas up my pjs. ...But its well worth it in the morning! Anyway, king of skin is definitely my absolute favorite product from lush!!! I would recommend it to anyone.

I absolutely love this stuff! I have very dry skin and need some serious moisture. I purchased this to use while traveling. I get tired of arriving to one busted lotion or cream. After just one use I am impressed. It also gets points for being so easy. This is much faster than lotioning up the whole body with regular lotion. This has a nice light scent that won't compete with any perfume as well. It just smells clean and a little shea buttery.

I bought this after reading the reviews and I WASN'T disappointed! I use this after I shave and in the mornings before work and hours later my legs feel moisturized and smooth. It's not greasy, but there is a slight residue feeling after you put it on, I don't mind it at all- I actually enjoy the feeling (it's like it's constantly moisturizing)but I could see how some might be bothered. The smell isn't good nor bad, I've definitely gotten used to it but wouldn't mind if they put a drop or so of an essential oil to make the smell a little better. Over all I LOVE this product!
