I got it for my cuticles, but use it after shower/bath to moisturize my feet/heels..elbows/knees, and any dry patches. I wash my feet at night and then Lemony Flutter 'em down, put on my bamboo socks and sleep...I wake up with the softest feet on the planet--Every Day! Thank you Lush!

When I first received this product I used it and wrote a review. I have loved it from day one. This a cannot live with out product! But little did I know that this stuff has SO many more amazing benefits then I originally thought and I had to come back and share them with you!
For starters I have REALLY weak nails. They love to spit and crack at the ends. Well that is a thing of the past now that I have Lemony Flutter my friends! I have spend SO much in nail strengthening products but NOTHING does for my nails what this product has! They are so much stronger! And my cuticles are now kept in check all the time! No more have to go through the painful pushing them down process. Another thing I love is the whitening effect. Due to the lemons I am sure! My am a nail polish junkie and even though I use base coat, they still end up stained with dark polishes. Well now the stains are gone!
If you have problem nails GO get this now! I wish I could give this TEN stars! Thank you Lush!

This was the very first Lush product I ever tried and is the catalyst that sparked my addiction to Lush products! I purchased this cream during the winter, when my dry-ish skin started getting a little too out of hand for my liking. It is VERY heavy and thick and takes a while to absorb into the skin, which is why I like to use it mostly right before bed (I also put on cotton gloves and socks over the cream, to avoid getting any greasiness on my pillows/sheets). I use it on my hands/cuticles, elbows, knees, and feet (I've also used it on my lips when they got seriously dry and it worked wonderfully). This cream is no joke- it's SUPER thick and moisturizing and does leave you greasy (then again, I pile this stuff on pretty generously- maybe it wouldn't be so bad if I tried using less). It also has a nice, but very strong, lemon scent to it, which I personally like (unfortunately my boyfriend hates it and says that this cream makes me smell like an old lady). I'll apply this stuff generously before bed and wake up with soft, smooth, supple, velvety moisturized skin. I also tend to pick at my cuticles and the skin around my nails, resulting in red, dry, ragged looking fingers. Regularly applying this cream helps the skin heal quickly and helps to keep it soft and healthy looking. This product is an absolute must-have, especially if you suffer from moderate to severe dryness and/or it's wintertime (or if you live in a particularly cold or dry climate). A+!

If you have dry patches or rough skin look no farther and this product! It is ULTRA rich and the smell is beyond divine! A beautiful mix of lemon and sugar with a little bit of tartness to it.! I use this stuff everywhere!

I have super dry cuticles that NOTHING has ever been able to moisurize....except for Lemony flutter! Works great on my hands AND feet leaving them soft, and moisturized without being overly greasy.
If the smell of this is too much (I personally love it!), pair it up with Tiny Hands, which is a softer scent. I use my lemony flutter after the shower, and before bed, AFTER I use Ocean salt to exfoliate and smooth my hands and feet. I love this product and highly recommend it!!

I tried this a few times and even got a sample to take home with me, but this product is just waaaaay too greasy! I would be okay if it absorbed well but it just doesn't. I end up having to wash my hands to get rid of the greasiness. I wish Lush would try to reinvent this product to make it less greasy or invent a new one that works the same but is less greasy than this one. I will not purchase this product after trying it a few times.

I was skeptical to use this for the same reason I don't use lotion. For some reason when I use any kind of lotion - even lush lotions, my hands break out with small blisters that don't hurt...just annoy. That being said, the winter months are hard on my hands. Yes its a little greasy, but it works and I thoroughly enjoy the scent.

My mom had burn marks from an allergic reaction on her hands that medications and creams couldn't heal or soothe. I gave my mom lemony flutter to see if it could help and it really did! Over the past week now her hands have healed and cleared up, not only that but the allergic reaction have seemed to stop. I did not expect lemony flutter do help that much, but I'm glad it did.

Lemony Flutter has quickly become my "never leave the house without" product. I use it on EVERYTHING. Seriously, my elbows, cuticles, knuckles, heels and even lips. I think the smell is wonderful and fresh. I use it multiple times a day since I got it two weeks ago and I have hardly made a dent in my pot, it will last a long time! Don't hesitate buying Lemony Flutter!

It smells like lemon bars, you only need a little, and it works great! Turned my dry, bloody, cracked, winter knuckles soft in just one use! I also use it on my heels, knees, elbows, and cuticles of course. Works great for all of those, too. It actually works good as an all-over hand cream if you don't use too much. I absolutely love this lotion, and it's half the price of the other Lush lotions! (yes, i know they are bigger)

Ok. Lemony Flutter smells a little off. We all know it. It's the lanolin, aka wool wax, that makes it this way. It's a sheep byproduct and as such is gonna be a little funky. If you didn't grow up in the middle of nowhere, you might think this smells like funny chemicals but it's so not.

That said, this product is boss. I have dry everything -hair, face, lips, skin- and Lemony Flutter is absolutely magical. Put it on cracked heels [save your sheets with some socks] and sleep on it, use it for cuticle repair and [if the smell doesn't bug you] as the best lip balm ever.

Totally get a sample first to make sure it agrees with you, but I can honestly say I'm never without it.

This was my first Lush product and I am more than pleased. I have very dry skin and my cuticles have been especially terrible for as long as I can remember. This is one of the only products that makes my cuticles behave. A little goes a long way with this stuff. I use it as a hand cream, foot cream, and it's an excellent lip balm as well. The smell was a little off-putting at first. Like a lemony disinfectant smell. Now that I've been using it religiously for some time now, it has grown on me. I find it rather pleasant. All in all, an excellent buy.

I have fought icky dry cuticles for years. I swear I've tried everything on the market, nothing worked. My friend (and fanatical Lush employee) Robin sold me on Lemony Flutter, and I can't stop talking about it since!
I use it to brighten my tattoos too!
But the best part, is how amazing it is on your cuticles! It moiusturizes deeply and completly, and lasts for a long time. I don't find myself needing to reapply throughout the day.

It works amazing and I thought I'd really love the lemon smell--if it ONLY smelled like lemon.

As you will see in other reviews, it has a medicinal smell and yes--it smells like something the Dr would give you at the hospital. Some people like the smell, some don't.

It works great but I don't know if I will wear it due to the smell--

Still contemplating on returning it...

I know this is one of the more popular Lush products but I was never really convinced that I needed to go out and buy a pot. I've tried the sample a couple of times and not only do I hate the smell but I hate how utterly sticky and greasy it feels. I have awful cuticles in the winter, and so I massage Lemony Flutter into them in hopes that something ANYTHING will happen. Nope, it never does. I just smell like cleaning solution and have greasy paws and elbows. Not into it!

I received this last week at LUSH as a sample and I am in LOVE. The scent is fairly heavy but doesn't smell artificial at all. Instead, it smells like fresh squeezed lemons which I adore! I have been using the tiny amount I received daily on my elbows and I haven't even made a noticeable dent in the sample pot LUSH gave me. My elbows are much softer and smoother than they were before (I suffer from alligator skin!). The scent lingers for quite some time too-- usually I can still smell this on me for an hour or two after I apply it! Excellent product overall, but I can't see spending [$] on 1.5 oz in the future.

I really hope I can get around to returning this. I have tried for days to enjoy this and find it to be the equivalent of an oil that sits on my skin and it reeks of industrial cleaner (orange pumice scrub)and a weird dirt/garage smell. It is awful and I had such high hopes. Definitely ask for a sample before you buy, I wish I had....

I bought this back 6 month ago, it is still not gone, use it about twice a week, for my heels and feet, it is THE BEST product ever for dry achy skin on your feet. And a little goes such a long way. I highly recommend this product, but could do without the smell, very lemony, so I use it only at night unless you like the lemony smell, it is pleasant,but woudl interfear with my parfume. MUST HAVE PRODUCT

I love love love this stuff. I budgeted it out, since it is a little expensive, but it's totally worth the price. My hands feel so much better now, especially my cuticles. My cuticles were very dry and I had a habit of picking on them because of that, but now they're soft and beautiful. It's also good on dry elbows and ankles and any other crazy dry spot you have.
