Lemony Flutter

Lemony, buttery cuticle cream

We made Lemony Flutter to soften your dry, cracked cuticles and nourish your nails; it’s our thickest, zestiest cream yet. In fact, it’s so good at softening, our customers have been using it on other rough body parts, like feet, elbows and knees too. Fresh lemons infusion is lovingly blended in our rich butter base to brighten skin and lighten nails. Each batch contains twenty-two pounds of beeswax and cold-pressed avocado oil to moisturize and soften your skin. There are so many nutritious butters and oils in each pot, it’s no wonder that such a little amount can go such a long way.

Features

  • Must-have: This is the product that quickly changes from a whim to can’t-live-without.
  • No more rough stuff: Softens hard skin all over the body, especially the cuticles and elbows.
  • Sunny citrus: Lemons are excellent for brightening skin and softening rough areas.

Customer Review

from Lovely
"I use this on my cuticles and elbows on a daily basis. My nails are noticeably stronger from the great hydration, and the smell is light and refreshing. Sometimes I even use it as a lip balm if they really need some love. A little bit goes a long way, ...more"

well here is yet another wonderful way to use this product. Between myself and my boyfriend, one of us is getting a new tattoo or more work done on our existing pieces. We both have sensitive skin, although mine is much worse than his. Mine is so bad that I can't use the traditional A&D cream. Our artist recommended using lotion. Well, off I went to the local LUSH store and got a sample of this. Now, it is a little difficult to use when the tattoo is fresh (too hard to spread and rub in) but after a day or two, this product works BETTER than ANYTHING else I have tried. And, it doesn't make me break out! Thank you again LUSH for saving my skin (literally!!)

I bought this because the friend who turned me onto Lush recommended, well, raaaved about this product. I was more than happy to try not only because I had a 25% coupon but I am in looooove with Lush's citrus scents. this really disappointed me. It has a weird undertone of.... bandaid. I love what it does for my hands and cuticles and all else that is dry, but the smell makes me cringe every time I go to use it... bummer... :/

Comments about Lemony Flutter Cuticle Butter:

Lemony Flutter is so fantastic because it's so versatile and can be used for so many different things! It's brightening, softening, moisturizing, and it smells amazing! I've been raving about Lemony Flutter recently because it was the first (and ONLY) product that has ever gotten rid of flaky skin I occasionally get on my face (especially in the winter). I was so apprehensive to use Lemony Flutter on my face, as it clearly isn't intended for faces, but I'm so glad I did. Now every time my skin gets a bit flaky I take the tiniest little dab of Lemony Flutter and all of my problems are solved! The fact that it's so brightening definitely doesn't hurt, either! Lemony Flutter is great to use on feet or anywhere else that needs a bit of de-flaking. I've also seen it applied first-hand to tattoos that are decades old only to have them looking like they were just done! Great, multi-use product!

I love this product! I will agree, it is greasy BUT it is so amazing I don't care! I use it at night right before bed so the greasiness doesn't bother me. It smells wonderful and fresh. I notice a difference after one use and it makes a huge difference if it's used regularly. It is a little more pricey than what I would normally spend on cuticle cream but it lasts forever and a little goes a long, long way. I even use it on my entire hand if my skin is a little dryer than normal.

Comments about Lemony Flutter Cuticle Butter:

This product has inspired me to take better care of my hands. I'm one of those people that always get hangnails and those little bits of annoying skin that tear off right around the paronychium (most people mistakenly call it a cuticle). After a few uses this product has greatly improved that, but they haven't gone away completely. Since my nails were an absolute wreck it probably will take a little more time for the product to be fully effective. The product does seem greasy after putting it on, but I just make sure to rub it in and let it sink in until the feeling goes away.

My boyfriend also had the WORST cracked/dry heels I've ever seen, the skin was all white and would bleed, etc, and I've been using this on his feet every night for about a week now, and the difference is amazing! his skin's actually looking healthy now and is soft!

I was recently out of town on business and received this as a sample when I picked some items up at the mall close to my hotel. As luck would turn out I developed a nasty cold about a week later while I was still traveling. My nose was raw and chapped from all the sneezing and tissue use and then I remembered I had a sample of Lemony Flutter in my bag- this stuff saved the day! While using it on your nose may not be the conventional use for this stuff it helped to relieve my sore and cracked nose. Thanks!

Comments about Lemony Flutter Cuticle Butter:

This smells absolutely wonderful. It is a strong fresh lemon scent that manages to NOT smell like a household cleaner - awesome. The scent is long lasting and projects well, and there is a natural freshness and a buttery softness to it that gets more lovely as time goes by. I use it on rough spots - hands and cuticles, elbows, feet. I have to avoid getting it on the delicate skin of my face or neck because my skin is sensitive and the sheer strength of fresh lemon is too much for it (almost burning), but that's what makes it great for hands and feet! If it's cold it can feel a little greasy at first, but once it warms it soaks in it leaves skin soft and not greasy at all. A little goes a long way, so my little tub will last forever. The girl at the store rubbed it into my fingertips - ahhh, I love a free sample and massage - so I put it into my basket, and I am very happy with my purchase!

Comments about Lemony Flutter Cuticle Butter:

For years, my mom has complained of dry and painfully cracking heels in the winter. She has suffered this for what seems like ages, and no lotion or cream has ever worked for her. I decided to give this to her for Christmas in hopes that it would moisturize her feet. And moisturize it did! After about a week of putting it on every night, her heels were not dry or cracked, and she could finally walk without wincing in pain. Very moisturizing; the pot lasts a long while as well - she has been using this nonstop for the last 2 months, and she has barely used the top layer. The smell is indeed very lemony. In fact, it reminds me a bit of window cleaner, but my mom likes it. Overall, great product, a bit greasy when first put on, but very hydrating and great for tough skin.

I use it for my cuticles before I go to bed. It is very oily, and I think this formula supposed to be better to our nail than normal hand cream. However, it falls so fast. I used other hand cream before, and it last the whole morning. I try Lemony Flutter which is specific for cuticle and I wish it would work better, but my cuticles cracked a little bit at the time I get up--even shorter than hand cream...... so sad.

A little Lemony Flutter goes a very, very long way! I'm careful to take a teeny tiny bit and dab it on to each fingernail, rubbing it in around each cuticle. It really helps to soften up the skin and push back cuticles, especially after a shower or bath. I also love using it before bed. There was a period in time when I had run out of Lemony Flutter and it just wasn't in my budget for a while. My nails really suffered during that time and now that I've got a new pot they're shiny and healthy again! It's a must-have product, especially if you paint your nails and/or wash your hands a lot.

As a nurse I'm constantly using that incredibly drying alcohol-based hand sanitizer, so my hands are super dry/cracking. The sales rep at Lush recommended Lemony Flutter and it has literally changed my life. I put it all over my hands before bed and when I wake up my skin is sooo soft! It also works very well on the bottom of my feet. I swear, my hands and feet have never been this soft. I also love the smell of this product, a very sweet lemon. A little bit goes a long way, so the pot will last you a while. Thank you for a stellar product, Lush!!!

Comments about Lemony Flutter Cuticle Butter:

This was one of the first products I used in the one year I've been using Lush. Lemon is my favorite scent and flavor in everything from food to personal care products. Lemony Flutter is a little greasy but it helped my cracked heals in a way nothing else has come close. A little goes a long way.

Keeps my feet soft and smooth, and smelling nice. Best to put it on before bed, it can be a bit greasy, but will have full absorbed by the time you wake up.

This product is a gift sent from above. My mom and I both use it and love it. I use it on my hands, and although they aren't overly chapped, I have a bit of eczema which is troublesome to deal with most of the time. With this, my skin feels soft and smooth. My mom loves using it on her feet, and in just three days she's been getting great results! Just a little goes a long way with this stuff. Start out with a bit, and if you need more, go for it. And the smell is fantastic! It has a nice lemony citrus smell that isn't too overpowering. Since I'm a lover of citrus, this is a huge plus for me!

Comments about Lemony Flutter Cuticle Butter:

I use Lemony Flutter on my cuticles elbows and even sometimes as a hand cream. It smells exactly like lemon pez (the candy). I don't love the smell but I don't hate it either. It does a great job softening dry skin, the only problem is that its greasy. I feel like I leave a residue on anything I touch after applying it. A little goes a long way, I can't imagine when I will finnish the pot. I love using this product on my nails after removing nail polish. My nails usually feel weaker after having a manicure and they reek of nail polish remover. I like to apply Lemony Flutter all over my nails to help repair, and strengthen them, plus it gets rid of the acetone smell.

I use the product on my cuticles, along with the rough parts of my heels on my feet, and the product worked WONDERS! Usually my hands and feet are completely rough from work along with the winter cold, but this product worked fast and with a small amount of uses!

It also smells really great! I recommend this to anyone with dry skin. :)

Lemony Flutter, along with the majority of products that we carry, has a 14 month shelf life. The specific expiration date can be found on the face sticker on the product!

For quite sometime if you're only using it on your cuticles. I'd say at least a year, maybe 18 months. I only use a little bit for each hand every night and I've hardly made a dent in my pot since getting it 3 months ago. If you're using it on your feet or tattoos, it will obviously disappear faster and I think it all really depends on how much you use. Regardless, it does tend to melt/spread on your skin really well and a little goes a long way so you shouldn't need too much for each application.

I think it would probably last you a month or so. Depending on how much of it you put on.

A little bit of Lemony Flutter definitely goes a long way so you should definitely get long life out of it. We suggest using barely a pea size amount if you are using it as a cuticle cream, possibly a little bit more on larger areas of the body. If used according to these directions it should last you months.
