So this is the first lush product I ever purchased, and I wanted to really try a face mask due to all the reviews and hauls i've seen on youtube about how great it was, I wanted the cupcake face mask but they were all out and were not restocking til next thursday so I asked what would be helpful to exfoliate my skin for a some what normal dry skin and they recommended me love lettuce. I went home and put it in the fridge since it needs to be refrigerated. When I tried it for the first time the application was so fun and soothing it was soo cool because it was still cold from being in the fridge. When it was time to rinse I had fun exfoliating my skin with the little almond bits in it. When I was all done washing my face it was so soft and just so moisturized. I would give this a 5 but this is my first time trying well see how it is in the long run. I just wish there was not a expiration date that was like 2-3 weeks. I don't really mind abou the price as long as its under like $15 for that size.

I bought this after recommendation on the part of two lovely Lush associates. :) I have acne-prone oily skin, but since I take prescription medication for it it's just oil that I have to deal with now. I went in to look for Cosmetic Warrior, but I was steered away from it on account of my sensitive skin. They sampled this on me intead, and so I gave it a go. IT'S WONDERFUL. It feels good and smells amazing. I could feel it working my skin nicely for the ten minutes I had it on. I used it as an exfoliator washing it off, and afterword when I applied my moisturizer I noticed that my skin, instead of looking a shade too dewy, was perfectly matte. A lot of redness was gone, too. It was beautiful, and that lasted all day! I'm going to see how many days I can go with this effect before I use it again.

Thus far, I've been slowly sinking into a deeper LUSHession as I begin to try out more of your products. Needless to say, I've recently started getting into fresh face masks. So far I've tried Cosmetic Warrior & Catastrophe Cosmetic and found the masks didn't do much for my skin type. The super sweet redhead in the Union Sq. store recomended I try Love Lettuce since I suffer from a dry T-Zone and discoloration.

Texture: Absolutely divine with all it's perfect scrubby almonds! They were ground to perfection with each granule blending in the mask smoothly.

Smell: Very pleasant subtle earthy scent with a twinge of fresh aroma.

Color: A mulled milky green.

Effectiveness: Paired with a Toner Tab and removing the mask with my Clarisonic, you will instantly see your skin supple, glowing, moisturized and CLEAN!

I'm a faithful user of Catastrophe, but they were out last time I went to get a mask. So I tried The Sacred Truth and didn't totally love it. I really needed something that would help to clear up the breakout I was in the middle of. The associate suggested Love Lettuce and I decided to go for it and I'm oh, so glad I did.

I used a T Tree steam before hand so my pores were nice and open, so the cool application of the mask was perfect. It was soothing, not harsh at all, and I rinsed with the left over T Tree water from the steam. As I was rinsing, I did a little scrub to put the nubblies of the almond shells to use. My skin was immediately softer, brighter, and overnight I noticed my spots were minimized and less red.

If that isn't enough to convince you to give it a try, I don't know that is!

I bought twelve tubs of this all at once to use for a dormitory spa night. My dorm's ten girls and two parents included African American, Asian, Latin, Islander, and Caucasian skin, ranging from super dry to super oily, and always caked in makeup to having maybe looked at a Chapstick once. Everyone had fun putting it on each other, and we all squeaked at how cold it was, then practiced our poker faces while it set so it wouldn't crack. For the next week we were all glowing and gorgeous. Everyone lightened up the makeup for a little while, and several of us went completely without! Everyone raved about how nice their skin felt... LUSH isn't kidding when they say "for all skin types"!

I just started using this mask (2 weeks now) and it feels soooo awesome! My skin has softened very much just in the short 4 times Ive worn it! I have terrible acne scars and they seem to be vanishing (slowly) but theyre not as noticeable! 5 thumbs up! I use it along with Angels on Bare Skin which works wonders everyday!

Went in to get Brazened Honey, they didn't have it and I came out with this. I've literally only used this mask once so far but i can definitely say i LOVE it. I've only ever used Cosmetic Warrior and my experience with Love Lettuce has been sooo different. After using Love Lettuce, I noticed my skin felt so soft and smooth, which is normal for most masks. But the next morning it was still so soft!

This mask glides on your skin very easily and is just as easy to wash off and acts as a great exfoliator. I have acne prone, oily, relatively sensitive skin and I've had no problem with breakouts or irritation. I seriously look forward to using this product!

This is by far the best face mask I have ever used. I'm not crazy about the smell (only because I don't like lavender) however, I will continue to use this product. I have combination, oily skin and this works fantastic! Although it exfoliates it's still gentle. You can see a noticeable 'glow' after use. I love it!

Let me just start off by saying that this product is amazing! The smell is absolutely incredible, so fresh and cool. It smells of lavender and to me it smells a bit like chai tea.

I have very oily acne prone skin and this mask has worked wonders. I've been using Proactive for the past 3 months, and it got rid of about 45% of my acne, but contained chemicals that made my skin very sensitive and it even BLEACHED the towel i used to dry my face! As soon as I stopped using Proactive I got much worse acne than I had ever had, And I needed something to calm my skin down. I cannot thank Lush enough for making this mask.

My current skincare routine is using Herbalism as my cleanser, grease lightning as a spot treatment, the Tea tree water toner, and the Love Lettuce mask two or three times a week. And these products together have gotten rid of 99% of my acne. (I still get a spot here or there if I don't wash off my makeup before i go to bed, or around that time of the month)

This mask not only smells PHENOMENAL, but it actually soothes and calms irritated skin. It dries quickly and is exfoliating when you wash it off. It leaves my skin feeling clean of oils, but still soft and moisturized. A little goes a VERY long way! You need very little of the mask to cover your entire face, you will get many uses out of this product!

This is the second face mask I've tried from Lush (the first one was Brazened Honey). I've used it twice so far and still have plenty left over (at least 2 more applications, maybe 3). Let me start by saying that I love the smell of this mask. It has a light, fresh, slightly lavender-herbal sort of scent...it reminds me of fresh cut grass on a warm spring day. It does a great job of exfoliating, thanks to the ground almonds, and spreads onto the skin very smoothly so you can give yourself a nice good scrubbing with it. It rinses off cleanly without leaving any residue (though you'll need a washcloth or something to get it all off). I've been applying it somewhat generously, scrubbing my skin a bit, and then leaving it on for anywhere from 10 minutes to a half hour before rinsing it off with warm water using a washcloth. I'm left with smooth, soft, clean, radiant skin. So far I'm extremely pleased and impressed by this mask. It doesn't have a ton of fancy ingredients in it, nothing super crazy- but it works and works well. My skin is bright and balanced. My favorite Lush mask thus far, definitely would recommend it to anyone with normal to oily or combination skin who's looking for something to cleanse, exfoliate, balance and brighten their skin. A+!

This product is great! I went to Lush for the first time with a friend and I did not regret anything I bought from there. I have really normal skin, but it's not the best skin around. The girl working there recommended this to me and I loved it. Definitely buy a fresh face mask each time you go to Lush!

I asked the sales associates at the store I frequent for what's the best choice for someone with combination skin. Each one suggested Love Lettuce, so I finally got some and it was way better than I imagined! It's so refreshing, and my skin felt so soft afterward!

I did the mask around 3 pm I have really oily skinn I left it on till it dried which was like 20 min I even worked out with the mask on once it dried I washed it off and I felt the difference and the beads exfoliated my face it was prob one of the best mask I ever used and I use a lot of mask

This face mask leaves the skin clean, refreshed, and soft. I have very acne-prone skin and this mask reduces the redness in my skin and makes it so so so soft. It also washes clean and does not leave any residue on the skin. A little goes a long way with this mask and it is really a great value. I think I have gotten about four masks out of one pot so far, and I still have enough for two more.

When I first saw this product I was skeptical. I though to my self "It's just blended lettuce" - Boy was I wrong! When I first put on the product I was struck by the soothingness of the mask. Then I went on and took off the mask -disappointment, the soothing mask had done little for my Oily skin. Oh well I thought. BUt upon waking the next morning I found that my skin had become soft and regulated (not too oily and not too dry)!

I just used Love Lettuce for the first time about 10 minutes ago. As I write this review, I have to take typing breaks to touch my face because my skin is THAT soft now. I had never used Love Lettuce before, or any face mask. I went into my store wanting to buy an out of stock The Sacred Truth for my dull, sensitive, and dry skin. My skin is normally dry and in need of a healthier glow. I am in my early 20s and have to admit my skin is not as youthful looking as it should be. I explained this all to my Lush sales lady and she recommended Love Lettuce. I don't see how this mask could do anything negative for your face! It smells divine, feels wonderful, and gives me the softest skin I have had in forever (and this is just after one use!). It's fun to apply and fun to feel how it exfoliates when you wash it off. I can't wait to see how my skin improves with continued use. The worst thing about this fresh face mask is that I can't use it every day (but hey, the anticipation adds to the fun I guess!). All this being said, I am afraid I'll break out with the amount of times I am touching my new soft skin! Buy this mask, it's a no brainer.
