Lust Soap

I'm somewhat of a noobie to Lush, but I fell in love very quickly with the products. I was excited when a co-worker brought me a sample of Lust Soap. I love the smell of it, it made my office smell like Jasmine all day. The soap gets really sudsy and lathery in the shower, but can leave a little bit of a residue and icky feeling on your skin, it requires extra rinsing. It leaves my skin a little dry, but has me smelling like yummy Jasmin all day.

I use the soap EVERY DAY... I love it. I have to order 2 at a time now, just so I don't run out... LOVE the soap, doesn't leave any residue, and smells great on my skin all day!!

I absolutely love the smell of this and the overall look and appeal, and I've purchased it on more than one occasion because of that. When it lathers, there's a cool pink color which I really like. The only thing I didn't like about it is that it leaves my skin feeling dry and unpleasantly tight and may leave some residue behind after rinsing. I think I would rather use a perfume with this scent, because that was the only amazing thing about this soap.

I bought this product because I'm a huge fan of the Jasmine scent and I wanted a bar of soap to take with me when i travel. I brought this bar home and before i even lathered it up it made my bathroom smell great.i noticed my skin felt a bit dry as soon as i washed it off. I try to avoid any soaps that give me that tight skin feeling, but it wasn't severe to the point where i wouldn't use it again. After i dried off my skin didn't feel as tight, it was soft and smelled great, but i still felt the need to use a light lotion afterwards.It was just an added bonus that my bathroom smelled great for the rest of the day.

Make sure you like the smell of jasmine, and know you like the smell of jasmine. I received just a little sample in the mail with one of my orders. It is very overpowering and strong to me and seemed very cloying. I thought maybe it was just becasue it had been in plastic and it had been warm, and if you've read any of my other reviews lets face it, I'm a LUSHaholic and don't want to dislike anything here. So I decided to try it that night in the shower after it had had a chance to sit and cool down and breathe. The entire bathroom smelled like jasmine for a week, I couldn't even finish washing with it before I threw it out. I have decided that I apperantly don't like the scent of jasmine, I had never really smelled jasmine or been exposed to jasmine scents before. If you like jasmine you will love this soap.

This soap immediately caught my eye when I walked into Lush. It is a gorgeous dark pink. When I smelled it, I had a flashback of springtime. For those of you who don't know what jasmine smells like, it's a lot like Lilly of the Valley. I love how Lush is always making creative blends of scents, but it is nice to have a pure jasmine soap. Lust lathers really well with fluffy fragrant pink suds. I hope to pick up the Lust perfume next time I visit Lush (for when I'm too lazy to take a morning shower). If you are a fan of pink things and/or floral scents, Lust Soap needs a home in your shower!

I am a huge fan of Lush's Godiva shampoo bar and Lust perfume because I love the jasmine scent, so I was super excited to try the Lust soap. I was a little disappointed in the scent, as I don't think that the soap has the true jasmine scent like Godiva and the perfume. This soap lathers well and seems to clean your body well. The lather is pink and I was a little shocked to see it rinsing down the drain-VERY PINK. Not sure it needs to be so saturated with color, it was a turn-off for me. I didn't find it to be moisturizing or have any real benefits. The jasmine scent didn't linger at all as I had hoped that it would so that I could layer my scent from shampoo to soap to perfume. Not a fan of this one.

The first time I used "Lust" was on a trip, in the shower with a washcloth, and I was thoroughly unimpressed. It didn't seem to lather, I wasn't sure of the way it smelled, and I thought it dried my skin out a little too much.

I gave it the benefit of the doubt and took it home. I used my little 1/8-lb bar until the very end, but added a loofa into the mix and VOILA! The lather is the lightest pink, absolutely delish way to use this soap! It doesn't dry my skin "too" much when it lathers up, and a few swags through the loofa leave me with plenty to use head to toe! I always, always recommend Lush to my friends and steer them right to Lust! :)

This is a great smelling soap. It cleanses without drying out my skin and leaves me smelling like jasmine.

When I use Lust, my nose literally makes me feel drunk with joy! it's incredible! I shower with it; I rub it on like perfume... And, the fact that it lathers well and makes my skin feel soft is just a plus! Thank you, Lush!

I received a sample of this soap with my order. I was excited and started using it as my hand soap. At first the smell was decent and the soap seemed like it was going to last a while. Then, for some reason about a week later I used it and it smelled like pure chemicals on my hands... Almost like bleach and something else I can't put a name to.
Along with the smell it never did lather it left my hands silky and soft. I would have loved to use it if it had no smell at all. And believe me I do not have a sensitive nose.

I just have to share with other Lush lovers out there that this is a GREAT soap for sharing in the shower with someone you love (or, I suppose, lust after ; } ) It smells awesome, and the texture of the soap is fabulous for in-shower massages and just good ol' fun together time! In short, great couples soap.

So thank you Lush! Lust soap has accompanied many a good time in the shower with my beloved (and be-lusted) beau. ; ))) Many smiles!

I received this as a sample. Good for morning shower cuz the jasmine scents will last all day long in my bathroom. I really love the hot pink color. The only thing is this soap is kinda drying, I need to use tons of body lotion afterwards or pair it with Ro's Argan body conditioner.

This soap only works when you're in the shower. It lathers, smells wonderful, your skin is smoother too. Outside of the shower, it doesnt last long as in smell & you skin isn't that smooth/moisturized.

This soap smells like sexy! It makes me feel beautiful! and the glitter in it is also nice. It doesn't lather a ton, but that's not such a big deal.

I love the smell of my lust soap in the shower. It's great and it cleans well. The only problem I have with it is that it doesn't last on your body, which I wish it did. Also it melts pretty fast so it didn't last as long as other soaps I have tried out at Lush

I adore this soap. Simply - ADORE! It's a silky lather, not drying, squeaky clean. It's the best shave base I've ever found. It smells so nice I receive compliments from everyone, and if I close my eyes my bathroom feels like a garden :) I've already paired it with Godiva and the lust perfume (if I could find the excuse to be so sparkly, I'd own lustre as well) but anything Lush puts out with this scent will be in my bathroom!

Oh, and how can you not love pink bubbles??

I am a huge fan of Flying Fox, the Lust Purfume, and the Sex Bomb bath bomb. When I saw the Lust soap, I just had to try it. It smells exactly like the purfume. It's my new favorite. I love how it has just the right amount of fragrance and it leaves my skin feeling so soft.

The scent is great, it just didn't last on me :(

Smells great! Bit on the floral side, but very rich (not a cheap perfumey smell at all).
