I put this on as part of the beginning of a makeup routine, follow it with a nourishing lip balm and then my lips are ready for a nice smooth application of color! It is good to do first both so that your lips can be exfoliated and because it is a little crumbly and will fall on other parts of your face.

I love love love this product. It tastes very minty and chocolatey. I feel like this is the grown-up version of those Lip Smacker chapsticks that we would put on our lips just so that we could lick them off. I must admit that I have used this product for the sheer enjoyment of licking it off of my lips post-scrub. It leaves your lips so soft and the peppermint freshens your breath. It's also really great to use before lipstick, as it gets rid of any flaky bits. The only con is that it's a bit messy and it falls off of your fingers during application. Overall, this is a great product. I believe that quite a few of my friends will receive these in their stockings for Christmas. ;)

Fun and tasty, scrubs up lip gunk and leavs a great tingle. Messy, so I use it in the shower. I smear it on, rub my lips together, eat some by accident and rinse off.

I have been looking for a lip scrub for quite a while and I'm so glad I came across Mint Julips! My lips tend to get dry in the morning which makes my lipstick look awful. Now all I have to do is scrub my lips with this product and just lick it off, how practical is that?! The taste is wonderful, it smells and tastes like minty chocolate. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this product.

I really wanted to love this! the lip scrubs sounded like such a cute idea and i have a good feeling about it..but as soon as i used it my lips got red,sore and very damaged for a week! EEEK! It really didnt seem that harsh but ohh it was :( Maybe i had an algergy to it, but either way i took it back and tried another one the pink suger or bubbelgum one and ohh it teasted so yummy! BUT once again was too harsh on my lips and i took it back.

I'm obsessed with this! I have normal lips, they don't really dry out except in really harsh climates but I still wanted something to pamper my lips since I really just don't do anything with them. I use my fingertip to spoon a tiny bit out and then i pucker my lips and rub this around in a circle. Then I smush my lips together to get the sugar all over. I do this for a minute or so and then just lick it off. It makes your lips soooo soft. I even got my chapped-lip boyfriend to try and he agreed that it helped. I use this about twice a week and it's amazing.

I was using a different lip scrub before I tried this that was waaaay overpriced and just okay at exfoliating (*ahem* Fresh Brown Sugar Lip Scrub, like $25 for a tiny jar *ahem*). I purchased the Mint Julips on a whim to try it out and I'm super glad that I did. This is by far the best lip scrub I've ever used, I absolutely love this stuff! I've found that most lip scrubs out there don't contain much of the actual scrubby particles, so I always feel like I haven't accomplished anything after using them...orI end up using a ton of the product to try make up for it and waste a lot of product. Not with this stuff. It is seriously scrubby (just be careful not to overdo it and irritate your lips) and leaves your lips so soft and smooth. Plus, it tastes great. You'll just want to make sure you use it over the sink because you'll have sugar particles falling everywhere! I will never be without this stuff, ever! A definite beauty must-have!

It seems a bit pricey for such small amount of product but you really only need to dip your finger and whatever sticks is just fine for your lips. I wasn't planning on buying this but the sales lady told me I could lick the sugar and give my breath a little freshness. I love anything mint & exfoliating so I couldn't say no.
It can get a little messy with the sugar getting everywhere, but I don't mind.

I absolutely LOVE this product! I've always wanted to try a lip scrub. I visited my first LUSH store in Providence & when I saw the scrub, knew immediately I had to get it!

When you first try it, it feels a bit tingly but its great. I love the scent - mint & chocolate!! Can't get any better. Then you get to LICK off the sugar from your lips! What a nice & fun treat.

I also bought the Honey Trap lip balm to put on after my lip scrub. Great combo! Leaves your lips feeling great & very kissable.

I use this on my lips every other day. Just rub it on my lips for about 30 seconds to a minutes, then lick it off. I love it. It smells great, it tastes great, and it is an easy product to use. I also love the cooly minty feel on my mouth after. My only problem with it is that I like to use it so much, that I tend to dry my lips out. I would suggest using it every other day, or maybe once in the morning if it does this. It doesn't take much either. Also apply a lip balm after.

I absolutely adore this. It leaves my lips tingling, gives me a bit of a sugar taste, and leaves them so, so smooth. I'd suggest using it every other day or only once a day. If you -do- do it daily or more than once a day, use lip balm. I used it twice in one day when I got it and I found my lips got a bit chapped, but once a day or every other and they're simply silken.

This stuff really works, and tastes/smells soooo good. Even my boyfriend used it and totally loved it. It makes my lips super soft, and a little bit goes a really long way. It's just really hard to swallow the price on something like a lip scrub...but I did, haha.

This was the first lip scrub I ever tried, and I love it! I'm a sucker for anything minty and sweet.

It works great, makes my lips silky smooth. My boyfriend has chronically dry lips and they crack and peel. He uses this and it sloughs all that skin off so he can start moisturizing fresh. Sometimes I have to keep him from going and just eating it out of the jar!

It is a little messy though as the excess scrub falls off your lips while you use it. But I love it. I like to use it when I'm going out, especially for date night with my love! Makes our makeout sessions extra smooth ;)

Just make sure you use a lip balm after to keep lips silky.

I just bought this, and after the first use I noticed a difference in my lips! This makes them smooth and soft, plus it tastes great! :) also, you only use a small amount each time so the little container will probably last a long time. Love it!

I love Mint Julips! This was the first product I ever purchased from LUSH, and it has yet to let me down. To start off, it smells amazing, and tastes even better. After brushing my teeth at night, I apply this with a dry finger (a wet finger will cause the sugar to stick together in the jar, and you don't want that!) onto wet lips and rub my lips together. After using, I apply a lip balm, and I wake up the next morning with silky smooth lips. If I ever forget to use this product, I notice a big difference; my lips are flaky and peeling the next day, and nobody wants that! Love this product and I will continue to repurchase!

This product is absolutely amazing. It smells great, tastes great, and left my lips feeling so smooth! I have trouble with applying lipstick because my lips tend toward dry and so the lipstick sinks in unevenly and I get little flakes of it on my lips. This problem disappeared after using this product! It feels like an amazing lip indulgence and was definitely worth the price.

This defanitely scrubs away the deads skin on my lips and leaves them smooth and minty! I would recomend this scrub out of all the others because it has a nice taste and scent. The only thing that I did not like about mint julips is that it was so expensive!!

OMG, this is the best lip scrub I've ever tried! It's so finely milled, but it's still rough enough to sluff off your dead skin. It leaves my lips super smooth and kissable, and the abraisivness kind of plumps them(:
AND IT TASTES LIKE THIN MINTS! OMG THIS IS ACTUALLY DELICIOUS! Whenever I'm done scrubbing my lips, I lick it off! Anyone know how many calories this is? :p
On the downside, the smoothness doesn't last super long if you don't seal it with a lip balm. Since the scrub is kind of dry, you REALLY need to moisturize after if you want it to stay that way for a while
Overall, I loveloveloveeee this product and so does my man ;)

This is really good! It's nice and light so you can use it every morning, you barely use a bit on your lips so the jar will last FOREVER, and it tastes amazing. It's edible, so after about a minute of the scrub on sitting on your lips you just lick it off. It's DELICIOUS. It removes lines and dead skin and whatnot so when you apply a lipstick, lip tint, whatever it's so much more vibrant and beautiful.
