I love this product. I started to worry that the hair at my hair line was thinning since my hair is so heavy and thick and when I have it up, it pulls at the hair line. So I looked for something natural and found it at Lush, of course. It smells good, lathers like a typical shampoo, but leaves your hair squeaky clean. Spot treating with the bar works best for me- I work the bar into my hairline and then massage for a few minutes and have noticed a difference. Less hair falling out there and feels stronger. Lastly, the smell is great if you love cinnamon and cloves!

This shampoo is divine. I am normally a Godiva user, but 3 months after I had my baby my hair started falling out in clumps. There were hair balls everywhere. It was mortifying. In a panic, I orderd this product, along with "Roots."
I now have brand new little hairs growing in all of the random bald spots I have and it is thanks to this product. I loved it. And it smells AMAZING. My husband says it smells like christmas...lol

I've only been using New! for a couple days but immediately saw a difference.

The soap lathers incredibly easily, just 3-4 wipes and it created more lather than I've ever seen from any normal shampoo, regardless of how much I've used of the "traditional" variety. That very first time I saw my average of 15-20 lost hairs go down to one, which only happened when I ran my fingers through my hair several times.

I am hoping that it stimulates more growth but am incredibly happy with my current results. I would consider pairing this with a good conditioner as my hair is a bit drier than usual, but I want to give the new shampoo a few test runs before I begin worrying about mixing and matching products.

If the bar lasts as long as these past few lathers suggest, it will go for months on end and I look forward to permanently switching to this product or another bar like it.

It don't take much to leather, so I love the fact that it last forever with med hair length that I have. Plus thinning hair and it helps fight the battle that is hard to win.

At first my first worry was that it wouldn,t fully clean my hair because I have so much and its thick but that actually wasn't a problem at all! So I was really satisfied with the results but them my scalp began to really itch then as time progressed my scalp got really dry and itchy and it was unbearable!

I have pretty long hair and it falls out a lot and I can't stand it. I did some reseach on New! and definitely wanted to try it out. I've used it a few times and I am in love with it! It smells great and lathers wonderfully. I have noticed less hair falling out and I hope by continuting to use it less hair will fall out. Its a great product.

I have tried expensive shampoos for hair growth and found that everything dried out my hair. Was very curious about the fact that this was a shampoo bar. The bar lathers well and lasts for a long time (I wash my shoulder length hair 3x a week). Since I started using it 6 weeks ago, my thin, wavy hair smells good, feels much healthier and I actually see some new growth along the front of my scalp. I use the Roots conditioner every week and with both these products I am seeing a difference.

I bought this product because I was noticing lots of my hair falling out in the shower. It has definitely decreased my shedding and it smells so wonderful.
I have very think hair, so I have to rub it quite a few times over my hair, but it lathers quite well.
It makes my hair feel very clean and look super shiny. It also tames my "fly aways", which I always have an issue with.
There are a few problems I have with this bar though. It really weighs my hair down. I don't like to wash my hair everyday, but with this I have to because it just feels so heavy. Another problem I get is that my hair is always full of static since using it. Lastly, my hair has always been smooth and easy to brush though with my fingers. With this shampoo, my hair tangles so easily and it is impossible to run my fingers through.

I had 2 spots on my head where you could see my scalp. I have tried other "hair thickening products" but they didn't live up to the hype and were so much work. Put it on, leave it on, then rinse it off, put the second product on, leave it on, rinse it off 3x. Needed lots of time which some mornings I just didn't have and didn't want to spend all that time in the shower. This is so fast and easy, smells wonderful and I can actually feel my scalp tingle. After 2 washes I could see a difference. There is less hair in my brush and the spots on my scalp are filling in. Definitely buy a tin to keep it in. I have shorter hair so a couple of swipes across and one down and I get more than enough lather. Love this product, Lush has converted me! thank you for this wonderful shampoo. Well worth the money.

I used this product about 3 times and I will definitely be buying it again. My hair feels so soft and healthy. I think that any hair type can use this. I have thick, wavy hair that changes with the weather (non-humid days = straight, humid days = wavy/curly). Since I have used this product, my hair has been abnormally straight. Not sure if it's because of the weather or because of the product. I love my wavy/curly hair but this product makes my hair feel so great that I don't care if it causes it to be straight. It also smells really, really good.

Note: I found if I use a TINY R&B hair treatment and scrunch it in when hair is still damp, it will be even softer and have some really pretty waves and curls, so it doesn't bother me. I will be buying again, and again.

I knew I needed a new shampoo when my scalp just was so irritated and itchy all the time. I used fair trade honey for the longest time for I didn't want other lush shampoos to strip my hair color away. I adored the shampoo but I knew I needed something to help my scalp. For five minutes I tried to decide whether to get karma komba or New!...... It was love at first smell. The scent is a warm cinnamon scent with slight earthy tones. Last night I ran the bar over my scalp and hair and noticed that I don't need a lot to produce a good enough lather. It felt so nice on my scalp when massaging it in. The scent doesn't linger but I don't mind that I'm just glad it works! I have only scratched my scalp twice today and my hair feels stronger and healthier already!

After being on a specific pill for birth control for about a year, I freaked out when I began to notice excessive hair loss. Two months later, I've switched to another method and have used this shampoo every other day for washing my hair. Not only has this product brought back hair where I was beginning to lose it, my hairline has actually COME FORWARD a little bit (a few millimeters on a normal hairline)! Not in a chewbacca way, though, so don't be scared. I keep the bar in a little bowl in my room and its longevity is great... two months in with regular use, and it's barely shrunk in size. I never put it under water because I find that it lathers REALLY well just from swiping it a few times over wet hair. It also gives a reasonable amount of volume. Overall, an absolutely incredible product! Only side tip is to use a very good conditioner with it, as it does clean effectively enough to cause a bit of a tangle. Small price to pay, though!

I've also noticed that a few blondes out there have complained about it leaving color in the hair? I'm from Finland and literally have platinum blond hair naturally, but have never had any problems with this shampoo leaving color. Perhaps others have used too much of it at a time or didn't wash it out well enough?

I have thyroid issues. Due to this, I have lost hair, and it is very difficult to regrow. I have had this problem for years! I use this shampoo bar three times a week (as per clerks suggestion). To my surprise it only takes about four strokes,in my hair,to make a wonderful lather. After just two weeks of using this, I have noticed new growth! Oh and this bar last a long time. I baught a bar in January and I'm still using that same bar, three months later!!!

I was pretty skeptical about using a solid shampoo bar because it sounds so weird, right? But after reading reviews all night and seeing what others had to say I was pretty sold on NEW! so I headed down to the closest Lush with a friend. I have always a huge problem with shedding, the amout of hair that would fall out was unbelievable, you could take it and use it for a barbie doll. Plus I have really thick hair and it tends to get really dry. But NEW! keeps my hair looking great and theres been little to no shedding since I started using it, and I've only used it 4 times because I wash my hair once or twice a week. My husband used it once as well and his hair is looking nice and thick. I have had some tangling but its nothing a dab of conditioner can't fix. I love this bar and will buy it again. The price isn't bad to me either, considering how many uses I personally can get out of it.

This was the first thing that I was interested in at LUSH, and I am SO MAD that I didn't get it sooner! It makes the whole bathroom smell fantastic, it doesn't strip my color (I don't even remember my natural hair color), and it lathers amazingly.

My daughter has thick, curly, coarse hair, mine is thin and wavy. She is as much in love with this shampoo bar as I am. What's love got to do with it? EVERYTHING! love the smell, the shine, the way it makes my sensitive scalp feel. My hair is wavier, fuller, shinier. Works well on my color treated hair! My hair looks better the more I use it. I have found my forever shampoo.I'm 55 years old and have tried a LOT of shampoos.

I love this!!! The smell is a little over powering at first, but it really lathers and really works. It doesnt take much of it either. This is my favorite shampoo ever! I got it to travel, but am now using it every day!

I'm 18, and this may be odd but I've been experiencing hair thinning/hair loss ever since I first dyed my hair. Discovered NEW! Shampoo and I can say, honestly, this shampoo works. I've noticed my hair more tamed, less frizzy, fuller and healthier. I have wavy hair and with normal Pantene my hair would look like a fuzz ball, but with NEW! Shampoo, my waves are more defined. LOVE IT. I'm telling you, this stuff works. Try it!

I have been using NEW! solid shampoo for a little bit over a week now and so far it seems to be working. I am a guy and not that I am going bald by any means, I do sometimes notice that in the past there would be small amounts of individual hair in my hands after I would shampoo and condition my hair. I read some where that the average person loses close to 100 strands of hair everyday. Well I can honestly say that NEW! is a pretty good product from what I can tell. It has a great smell, lathers well, and my hair feels good after I use it. Now whether or not It promotes hair growth or stops hair loss I really don't know. But I can say I don't really notice any hair strands like I use to. Also if you get this I would suggest getting the hair tin as well.

Best, Shampoo. Ever. I can't stop touching my hair; it's so soft!!! I have extremely thin hair and the NYC winter isn't helping the brassiness of its ends. I also recently started coloring my hair and no other shampoo I've used has cared for my hair like this one has. The volume is insane too. I am in love with the smell, texture, and concept of this product...can't wait to throw this in my bag on short trips or nights away from home instead of carrying mini shampoos that have burst in my travel bag in the past.
