this is soo great i use it when i have a really bad break out or when i just feel like exfoliating my skin i use it on my face and body. This is a really great product for someone like me who is allergic to a lot of the facial cleansers that work it natural and refreshing.

I like this. I've purchased this twice, both times expecting a good product. I love the way this cleanses. It makes me feel really clean. However, for my acne-prone skin, it doesn't really help my acne or help the texture of my skin. Its a good product though to use twice or three times a week. Smells great too.

I've been reading some of the reviews on here and a lot of them say that this product works well on oily skin, but it works great for me, and i have fairly dry skin. This product makes my skin so soft, clear and bright. I feel totally refreshed and clean after using this scrub. I just use a mild moisturizer after and i'm good to go! It's fairly expensive but it lasts forever!! A little goes a long way. Definitely worth the price. If you're using it for all over your body, I'd get the big bottle, but if its just for you're face, the small one should suffice.

For a while there I was using this scrub every moring! I love the way it makes my skin feel; like I just got back from the beach (but without the sticky feeling and sunburn). Once I got hooked on this scrub there is no going back! I found that I have to follow with a moisturizer, but really when do you not?

I actually haven't used this on my face yet because I feel like it would be too harsh (though I am thinking about using it as a weekly exfoliant), however, I use it about every three days in the shower (before soaping) and the skin on my body has never felt so soft ans smooth. It's truly amazing.

I've always had these little bumps on the back of my legs, gone. I couldn't believe it!

There is nothing marvelous about the smell (I don't think) but I have so many Lush products I get the aromatherapy from my body wash and lotion. I might give a totally different review for this as a face wash but as a body wash, truly amazing.

This stuff is amazing! I had seen a review for this product on Youtube a few years ago and decided to give it a try and have been addicted ever since. I have combination skin and use Ocean Salt pretty much daily and it is amazing how well this product works for me. It evens out my complection and leaves my face feeling smooth, firm and glowing!

I use Dark Angels as my daily cleanser, as it is much gentler. Ocean Salt is a total rescue product for when I get blemishes or can tell they are coming, or just on a very "greasy skin" day when there is lots of oily buildup (I have combination skin). Ocean Salt is really too harsh to use daily IMO, but once a week or so? Amazing. i have absolutely NO major zits since beginning use of this product. As soon as I feel one on its way, I use Ocean Salt after my shower that day. The next day? Either no sign it was there at all, or a dry spot where it would have bubbled up, which is easily handled with my usual face lotion. It smells amazing, too, and leaves you feeling super clean and fresh.

I brought it from Lush today and I'm already completely in love with it. it smells SO good (which is nice compared to the smell of mask of magnanimity I absolutely hate the smell of it). My face already looks 10x brighter and its so soft! But when i first put it on, it burned my skin a little, but from reading reviews it's common the first time you try it.

I have comnination skin like most people and it tends to be a little sensitive. I have also has issues with GIANT pores, and intermittent acne even now into my mid 30's. This is hands down the best product I have ever had, and I have used a lot. (scrubs, peels, pore strips, masks, you name it)This ACTUALLY WORKS! My pores arent "smaller appearing" they are smaller, the dirt/oil and blackheads are vanishing more everyday. Only con I have found is I love it so much I want to use it everywhere, and that makes me go through it too fast lol.

I absolutely love love LOVE ocean salt! I asked for a sample before I bought it and when I went home I used it right away. When I first used it, my skin was burning and I thought oh my gosh my poor face. After washing it off, my skin looked remarkable red , but soft and clean. You saw a huge difference in my skin. It took at least three times of using ocean salt till my skin got used to it. It doesn't burn my skin anymore or make it red , but it does make my face look and feel amazing. I bought the huge tub and I've been using it 3-4 times a week and my face looks amazing!

I bought this product about two weeks ago, and I like it for several reasons. As cold weather is coming up, it really helps get rid of that dry, flaky skin that can come from braving the cold.

There are a few things I'd be careful of. I use it in the shower about three times a week, but I find if I do it any more than that my skin starts to get red and dry. When you use it you can really feel it cleansing the pores and bringing out the new skin underneath (almost like you can feel the tingly sensation caused by the vodka gently eating it out of your skin!), but after too much use my face becomes red and dry. It becomes uncomfortable mainly because of the large sea salt grit.

I would suggest using a more gentle or moisturizing cleanser in between to avoid this. I don't have sensitive skin and never have, so this is a new thing for me.

Overall I love the smell, the look, and the way it works. Use it when your skin needs a pick me up! I just wouldn't suggest using it every day or you skin might become very irritated. Lastly, I would suggest using this in the shower rather than over a sink because it can get a little messy with all the salt.

I decided to go back to a bargain brand scrub, but that left my skin feeling greasy and not clean. I went back to using ocean salt scrub and felt and saw the resuls immediately: my skin felt clean and smooth. (Great to use after working out!)

I've always loved LUSH products, and when the shop near my home closed, I traveled an hour just to get to the nearest shop. I was first intrigued by this product because of the name- I live and was raised on a beach and love the ocean. The smell is absolutely fantastic and I could smell it all day. When I first used it on my face at home, I was BLOWN AWAY by the results: super soft, glowing and moisturized skin! My skin, which is normally pretty oily, was so fresh and clean and not shiny. I also strongly believe this amazing product helped clear up blemishes. At first I used Ocean Salt a few times a week, but now I use it every single morning. This is my favorite product and I swear by it! :)

This product smells great and works great. I used to get occasional breakouts and now I may get one once every 3 months. You can use it on your body too, especially your feet. However, since it is expensive I wouldn't use it on your body too often. I have already gone through 3 big tubs of this stuff and I rarely buy a face product twice!

I am a HUGE Lush fan and I've always been pretty happy with their products, so I went for a leap of faith to try this out because I was in need of a good facial scrub and this had good reviews. First off, this stuff smells fantastic, all grapefruity and citrusy. The texture is really nice. The salt is a bit coarser than I expected, but it works well. As a face scrub though, it did me no favors. In fact, after only two days of using it I had nasty whiteheads appearing all over and greasier skin. I have combo oily/dry skin so it can be hard for me to find something that isn't too greasy but won't dry out my skin either. I used the rest as a body wash and the rest of my skin was not irritated. However, I'm not going to buy it again simply because it's wayyyy too expensive for a mere body scrub.

I first experienced this product through a sample. I was excited about receiving it because I know it comes highly recommended. The first time I used it, I felt that it was nothing special; however, I did enjoy the fresh, clean scent. I forgot about it for a while and then stumbled upon it one day. I gave it another shot. I used it to scrub under my arms ( I have a darkness problem) which it worked great for. I also used it on my face again. I figured that perhaps because I had only tried it once before on my face (instead of regularly) that I hadn't given it the proper amount of time to work to its full potential. I was right. I used it a few more times and grew to really appreciate this product. It helped me to minimize my breakouts and reduce scarring. Now, I have semi-sensitive skin so I only use it every other day. I definitely do not think its suited for highly sensitive skin. It DOES sting and burn a bit but it is quite tolerable. I would recommend it to those suffering with breakouts and who would like to even their texture and eliminate scarring.

The concept of this is very alluring. The way it looks, the way it smells, its ingredients..it's awesome. The only reason I gave this product 4 stars was because of someting that was perhaps my fault: I was using this stuff on my nose (the only oily part of my face, also riddled with blackheads) every day. Youre not even suppose to exfoliate every day and as it turns out I have sensitive skin because it gave me red irritation spots on my nose. At a Lush opening party I got a free little pot of this and now Ive began using it again because it really is so effective, exfoliating and moisturizing and cleansing all at the same time while smelling absolutely divine - but this time, as per recommended by the lush saleslady who told me of my mistake, Im using it twice a week and mayyyyybe moving up from there if it doesnt irritate me too much. Very excited to see what happens :) Ive used it two times this week and so far so good!

Okay, so I love the idea of this one, but it doesn't clean hardly. It's great to use as a scrub, but I wouldn't suggest scrubbing more than twice a week. The sea salt is really rough on skin. It does smell like a mixed drink, it would get on my lips and it tastes fine lol! But as a wash it's horrible. I have oily skin and right after I use this my face feels great thanks to the alcohol, but a few hours later and it's oily as all get out again. I would suggest it but as a scrub.
