I was skeptical about Lush shampoos/conditioners at first. They're pricey and some of the reviews are mixed. I'm telling you now, Lush makes great shampoos and conditioners. I can really tell a difference between Lush products and drugstore/other brands. My hair is softer, healthier, shinier, and in short, better. I heat style every day, so Okra is working really well for me. I've also tried American Cream, which is a great conditioner, just not enough for my hair. Right now, I'm shampooing with Fair Trade Honey, but I think I will go back to using Rehab. The jury is still out on that decision. I won't use any other shampoos or conditiner's ever again. Lush is where to go to get health, gorgeous hair.

I had really high hopes after reading the great reviews of this product, but for me it did not do anything but add a bit of shine. My hair felt dry and not very soft. I will say that if you already have healthy hair to begin with then this would be a good light condtioner but if your hair is dry like mine then I would not get it.

The scent could be described as medicinal. Sort of like dandruff shampoo or something. However, it does work.

When you use this you keep puting more on because it sinks into your hair and there is nothing to wash off. At first it still seems dry but once you comb it, it completely changes! Very soft and detangled. The smell is AMAZING. The smell will last in your hair and I loveee it, unlike any other conditioner I have ever used!

I've tried most of the other Lush conditioners and so far, none have impressed me in the least. I finally got around to trying this and thankfully, only purchased the smallest size. The description is COMPLETELY misleading. I tried every way there is to use this: small amount, normal amount, larger amount, rinsed out, left in - you name it. It simply does not work. My hair, even after using cheapie 2 dollar drugstore conditioner is much softer and more manageable than after using Okra. It left my hair a snarly mess! I saw no extra shine or body or smoothness. My hair is in excellent shape too. Absolutely no split ends. I don't even color it or use heat styling utensils! For me, the price (much like many Lush products) is grossly overpriced and does not live up to what it's marketed as. If you have very short or thin hair, like the smell of nettles and don't have too high of expectations, then this is the conditioner for you.

I am so happy I decided to purchase this product, I rely heavily on reviews many don't find it their cup of tea so skeptic obviously but considering the costs I figured it had to be a winner! I have been using this for a month now,as for smell in my opinion it's very earthy hint o mint smell, I like it, it doesn't leave a film the way other conditioners do, I can actually feel my "real hair" considering I do bleach it, it's the way to go for my hair type. I wouldn't recommend this for people with fine hair, curly locks I would say yes. People with oily scalps shouldn't use often, the only mishap I have noticed is my scalp has increased in sebum, overall though I love this product thanks for saving my hair! Can you bring lush to me btw!?

Over the course of my life I have struggled greatly with my unruly, curly, dry, frizzy hair. I've tried chemical straightening/relaxing, pomades, serums, deep conditioning masks, and "repairative" masks, all to no avail.
Until NOW.

Okra is a godsend. The first time I used it, I cried when I looked in the mirror, because I didn't even have to straighten my hair; it looked really nice just being curly and soft.
Okra has given me the ability to get out of the shower and get on with my life, without having to blow dry and straighten my crazy mane just to look presentable.

Like all my favorite LUSH products, Okra has given me the confidence to be loud and proud of my natural self.
No more time spent fussing over imperfections when I know that my hair is soft and smooth, my face is bright and clear, my skin is soft and supple, and, above all, I smell FANTASTIC.

I Just received this product and after use I was really disappointed. Even though my hair was a bit soft from it, it made my hair look gross and frizzy. I believe it does not live up to the description of what it is suppose to do. Will never buy again!

I was really skeptical the first time I used this. It's very thin and I couldn't believe it would smooth my really frizzy, curly hair. BUT IT DID. I use a fraction of what i normally would with other brands and it does much better! My hair has more bounce than I'm used to but I'm not sacrificing shine and smooth curls! Not really keen on the scent in the shower but during the day my hair smells great!

I just got a bottle of this last week and people have been complementing my super shiny hair and wanting to touch it. I dye my hair a lot and blow dry and straighten it everyday. I stopped using shampoo you buy from major retailers and I have definately noticed a difference using Lush shampoos and conditioners. This is by far my favorite conditioner and seems to be fixing my dull yucky damaged hair.

Didn't know what to expect from this product. It seemed thin and I didn't think it would do much. I have long gray/white hair and it can get really dry especially at the ends. I have to shampoos almost every day because of exercising. This conditioner delivers in all the ways I needed it too. I don't think I will need a deep conditioner using this daily. It is gentle and leaves my hair healthy,shiny and soft and my husband mentioned how nice it smelled. Love it!

I don't think this conditioner is too light at all, nor do I think the smell is totally horrbile. I used it for the first time today and before I even dried my hair I could tell that it tamed my tangles and it added shine. I actually like the smell, its very earthy.

I love this product! I have very long, straight hair that normally requires constant brushing to avoid tangles. After using this conditioner, I forgot to brush my hair before bed and woke up with NO TANGLES, for the first time ever! I love you Okra!

I have very fine and thin hair. At the same time, it's damaged very easily. I only blow dry, but my ends fry pretty fast. It's hard for me to find a conditioner that helps my hair and yet doesn't weigh it down.

At first this seemed too runny to do the job. Even once I put it in my hair, I felt like it probably wasn't going to be amazing. IT IS! The ends of my hair have never looked so healthy with so little effort on my part. It only takes a small amount to really do the job. And my hair is still light and bouncy! I don't think I'll ever stop using this product.

The smell... I thought it smelled kind of odd and maybe rubbery at first, but I finally placed it. It smells like Juicy Fruit gum. I don't really think it's good or bad, just interesting. I'm not a fan of the flavor of the gum either though. The smell does linger a tiny bit in my hair, but it's not strong or offensive.

I have waist-length, processed, straight, slightly coarse hair that is pretty dry and straw-like on its own. No more! I started using Okra a few months ago and simply cannot believe the difference. My hair is now sleek and glossy and soooo soft. People are constantly asking me if I have "done something" to my hair because it looks so bright and shiny. I have used at least 30 different conditioners in my life (some way more expensive than this one) but Okra is by far the best conditioner I have ever found for my hair. Thank you Lush, my search for hair heaven is finally over.

I use Okra during the week and The Strokes on the weekends for deep conditioning.My hair used to be very dry but not since using this hair regime. Also of note...my hair feels soft but not waxy like conditioners from the drugstore.My hair feels conditioned,not coated.As a bonus,Okra smells good!

Love the smell, like warm spices and cloves, classic nettles smell. However, very thin and runny, have to use quite a lot to get good coverage. I have been mixing it with a neutral conditioner to prolong the bottle, since no LUSH store nearby.
scent softly stays for few hours.
Love it, but wish it were thicker and creamier.

Maybe I got a bad batch, but mine smells exactly like pickle juice. Not even really sure how well it works because I always end up putting something else on with it because of the smell

As a natural woman with hair of color, it's at times a CHALLENGE to find products that work well but my locks LOVE this conditioner! It softens tremendously, adds a soft shine and bounce. It visibly refreshes the hair and replenishes health. I also ADORE the spicy sweet earthy aroma of this concoction. It lingers and just smells fresh and delish. Don't let the name fool ya, there's nothing icky about this product!
