Revitalize damaged strands
Okra is for hair in phenomenally bad condition. Whether it’s been bleached or colored too often, permed, heated and hot-curled into submission or it’s just naturally frizzy; Okra will remedy it all. It's full of plant infusions to help you get your hair into shape, including okra. If you boil it, it turns into a mucilage which softens up mistreated hair. Nettle, vinegar and rosemary oil make hair shiny again and help tone the scalp. Use it when you've done horrendous things to your hair and are ready to apologize.
- For dry or damaged hair: Use it daily to restore your strands to their natural softness.
- Not just for salad dressing: We add balsamic vinegar to Okra for beautiful, brilliant shine.
- Soften up split ends: Fresh okra and corn silk infusion soften dry or unruly hair.

Q:Will this work with Henna hair dye? I'm worried about fadingAsked on 6/28/2014 by Kitty from Las Vegas, NV
Q:I just henna-ed my hair with the Caca Rouge a few weeks ago and the girl I bought from told me to use Veganese and Blousey to help the color stay. while the shampoo hasn't reacted to the color, the conditioner has been washing out. don't get me wrong, I figured it would happen and I don't mind that much, but I was wondering if this conditioner might help the color stay longer or if i'm just out of luck in that area. Any suggestions?Asked on 6/24/2014 by Sissy from San Fransico, CA
Q:what makes this conditioner not vegan?Asked on 2/4/2014 by tasha from oklahoma
A:Okra contains lanolin, which is similar to the sebum secreted by humans, and is removed from sheep's wool after it's been shorn. Lanolin is very moisturizing, and it's highly emollient, which means that it helps to attract and retain moisture!Answered on 2/6/2014 by Brandy from LUSH
Q:What could the smell of Okra be compared too? I am currently using Jungle and love it but I can't get over the petrulli smell. Does the Okra Conditioner have a petrulli type smell or what could it be compared too?
Thanks for the feedback!Asked on 10/15/2013 by Katie from Jacksonville, FL
A:Okra does not contain patchouli in it, although it does have a very earthy scent. The rosemary and lavender oils are the predominant smell in this conditioner.
If you are looking for a sweeter scent for your conditioner, I would recommend trying out Forever in Bloom liquid conditioner. Each bottle is blooming with flower infusions, like chamomile, jasmine and honeysuckle to effectively smooth fine hair, give shine and balance oil production.Answered on 11/17/2013 by Anonymous
A:Okra definitely doesn't smell like patchouli. It has an earthy yet fresh smell. It's not floral or citrusy, but just a unique, light scent. And it doesn't take much to condition my hair, so sometimes I'll add a dab of veganese to my okra when I condition so I can have a lasting scent.
