Q:I was told you could use this as a face soap too? What are your thoughts given the ingredients that are in Parsley Porridge?Asked on 7/7/2014 by Priscilla from United States
A:It can definitely be used both on the face, as well as the body! There are some fantastic ingredients in there that are super effective on spotty skin, but still gentle enough for the more sensitive skin on the face.Answered on 9/25/2014 by Melissa S from LUSH Direct
A:LUSH isn't marketing this is a face soap, and I'm quite surprised by this because Parsley Porridge does wonders to blemish-proned skin! The tea tree infusion/oil and thyme oil are powerful antibacterial ingredients to keep skin clear and blemish-free. Grapefruit oil is going to be a great astringent for oily, congested skin, but also works to tone and brighten. And of course, fresh parsley is a gentle exfoliator, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and calming. However, since most of the ingredients are astringent-like, Parsley Porridge is a bit drying. There is a possibility that turns off the marketing team to sell it as a face soap. Honestly, if you're okay with a deeply-cleansing but drying face soap, I say try it out (remember to moisturize of course). It really does work in clearing up blemishes on your face and body!Answered on 8/13/2014 by Elizabeth from Atlanta, GA

Q:Is this suitable as a face cleanser for combination skin?Asked on 7/3/2014 by Sophia from Austin, Tx
A:The skin on the face is a lot more sensitive than the rest of the body. We recommend that you use Parsley Porridge for the body rather than the face.Answered on 9/12/2014 by Anonymous
