This may look orange in the bottle, but on my lips it is a striking coral red with a golden glimmer. I could NEVER find a red that wouldn't go purple, so finding this color has been great. For the record, my skin tone and lips have a pink undertone.
A little goes a long way, which is also nice. Some of the Emotional Brilliance lip colors are almost stains, which is also nice when you're going out for a meal.

Power is a medium orange with some sparkle. I wouldn't call it red, except that it may be a more reddish orange than a bright traffic cone orange. I have neutral beige skin coloring and was looking for an orangy color for the season. Ambition was too dark for what I wanted and Strong was too matte and a very dark orange! Power is more neutral and orange without being a screaming bright orange or a dark color on me. It's almost a pale neutral on me in bright light but that could be the shimmer to it. Great color!

My color reading gave me Strong (the really orange one) and I liked that, then I put Power over and and fell in love. Power is a nice kick of orange and some shimmer that I adore. I literally just ate with it on and it's still on even though I saw it come off on the napkin.
I've never thought I'd look good in orange (as I have olive skin) yet it looks amazing and very wow factor for me. My suggestion is go spontaneous and try a crazy color, you just might love it! The price was definitely worth it.

I received my first Color Reading today at my local LUSH store, and this color was my first result! I tried it out, and was pleasantly surprised at (and majorly excited about) how good this color looked on me, so I had to get it. The product itself is long-lasting and has staying power (no pun intended!) which is really important to me, since I want a lip color that stays on well for daily use. Well done on this one, LUSH!

I love the new emotional brilliance collection by lush. There are so many bold colors to choose from. However I was very disappointed with power. On the website I saw a beautiful bright red orange tone at the store I saw a orange lipstick with gold flecks. The lipsticks are so so pigmented and they glide on so smoothly and are versatile. They can be used as a stain or bold statement lipstick.
