I use this to shave my legs, and I love it! It smells amazing and moisturizes so well.

It can be messy, and it clogs my razer really bad, but what I've been noticing is that I can actually take a tiny bit and rub it on my legs almost like a lotion and then shave, which pretty much cuts out all mess and makes the razer less clogged.

Regardless, the smoothness is amazing, and after I shave now I just want to feel my legs constantly, and my boyfriend always comments on how smooth and soft I am.

I use this product on my legs and even on my armpits and it creates a very clean shave. I did not get any nicks or scratches but while using it did clog my razor. If you just simply wash it under cold water though the razor should be back to use. A scent lingers afterwards and my legs and armpit feel very moisturized

I originally got this shaving cream for myself. I am a woman with incredibly sensitive skin. It not only does not irritate my skin, it makes it smoother. My husband started also using it. He has a beard and uses it to shape his beard and also rubs it in to the beard to soften the hair and prevent the dreaded beard dandruff. It smells wonderful and does a great job.

I've always gotten terrible razor bumps "down under" and on my jaw line. I figured I'd give this a shot since nothing else has worked. It's been 2 days and minimal razor bumps. Just take a small amount and rub it in. (I put it on so there's a thin layer) It is important you do leave it on to soak for while. After shaving you feel like you already moisturized! For super sensitive skin (Like mine) where you do need to moisturize still after to prevent itching and irritation, Cosmetic Lad is a great partner in crime!! I don't have to prolong shaving anymore in fear of razor bumps!

I will say that I got a close shave, no nicks, and very smooth legs after shaving with this. However, It clogged my razor so bad, that I had to scrub it with a tooth brush in between strokes. It was very messy and leaves a film that sits on top of the water that makes sitting in it to shave just plain gross. This stuff is so annoying to use, that I finally had enough, rinsed off and finished bathing at the sink. No lie. I loved the results but just can't deal with all the work and mess that comes with it.

This stuff is wonderful once you get used to it. It does clog the razor, but it's worth it! Prince leaves the skin feeling so soft and supple. I use it every other day to condition my skin. It seemed messy at first, but now I won't be without it.

I've always had an issue with ingrown hairs around my jawline. It's not that noticeable, but they're there, and I know they're there.
I tried this because every other Lush product I used was infinitely more awesome that its drugstore counterpart. It confused me the first time I tried it. But I just take a little with two fingers for each cheek, and rub it all over. Then I go away and do something, like clean my ears or moisturize for a couple minutes. I don't know why it needs a few minutes to soak it, but I can tell a major difference if I don't.
My razor does get clogged, but I don't know if it's the Prince or my three-day-or-so beard that's doing the clogging. But just a quick bang on the edge of the sink and it's all free.
My favorite part, is just rubbing in the excess when I'm done shaving; my skin just eats it up.

After one usage of Prince, I am NEVER buying foam shaving cream again. I have two un-opened cans of Gilette something-or-other that I am giving away to my roommates. IT IS THAT GOOD.

The first thing that hit me with this cream was the fresh orange scent. It smelled *so good* as I lathered my face - which only required two large dollops of the stuff. My razor literally glided on my face. Usually, with the foam stuff, I could feel the razor against my skin. With Prince, it felt like the razor moved effortlessly across my face without that feeling of friction. And after shaving my face felt hydrated and refreshed - not dried out, raw-feeling, and tight.

Men: if you are looking to get just ONE Lush product this should be it!

I want to start out this review by saying that I absolutely, 1000000% adore Lush. I love mostly all of their products, and never fail to walk out of that store at least $30 less than when I walked in :)However, this product was a big let down for me. I walked into Lush and was purchasing a few of my necessary bath melts (dream time and happy blooming) and I told my wonderful helper that I loved these melts for shaving. Not literally as my shaving cream, but rather in the bath before I shaved to soften my skin. She then drew me over to this shaving cream and recommended it to me highly. She didn't pressure me into buying the biggest size, so I purchased the smaller one, just to test it out.This is, simply: an average cream. It does nothing bad, but not really anything good. I feel like I might as well use nothing at all. To name a few things I dislike: It is verrryyyy thick and non lathering (which I have tried other creams that do this as well and adore them) my issue with the non lathering is that the sheer layer of cream really does nothing at all, so to get a result you have to waste a lot of it. Also, it really clogs my razor, and also does not moisturize my legs at all.I feel like in order to enjoy this product, you must use a lot of it in a small area (such as facial hair). Otherwise, it is simply not worth the money. I can justify spending $20 something on a hair product or body lotion here if it really is that good (which it usually is) but this cream is simply not worth that price at all.Bottom line: I think this would be a very good shaving cream for facial hair, but is it better than something you could buy at the drugstore? Probably not. But it is more expensive.

I am not a fan of this shave cream. I found that it clogged my razor so bad to the point I was constantly trying to clear it so that I could continue shaving. I also felt like the product came off the skin before I could get to shaving the area. I will say what little was successful left me with a very close shave but I don't feel this minor redemption was enough to make up for the lack luster qualities of the cream.

I was not too impressed with this product for use when shaving my legs. It irritated the skin on my upper thighs, it made a mess of my razor (I had to change the blade), and it did not smell at all like orange blossoms. It definitely smells more woodsy or something and not at all floral. I wish LUSH made a shaving cream specifically for shaving your legs, because this one just doesn't work.

I got this for my uber sensitive, begging to be rashy, pain in the butt legs. I have super pale, super sensitive skin that get rashy and bumpy and unattractive if the wind blows wrong. Couple that with wearing skinny jeans almost every day and it was a battle over whether or not to shave because either way I was ingrown city. Delightful :} Any way I hate foaming shaving creams and have bounced between different cream ones and found that good old fashioned conditioner was the best choice up until Prince came along and swept me off my feet. This stuff is a little bit on the razor-cloggy side, but all the different non-foaming shaving creams I have tried are. Besides, rinsing your razor often is good shaving etiquette. It's not messy, it smells amazing and because it's so thick and rich, a tiny bit goes a loooooong way. I don't shave my pits or lady area so I dunno how it fares in those applications, but for legs it's a dream.

I am a girl and I recently ran out of my regular shaving cream and thought why not try what Lush has to offer?! It may be meant for mens faces, but ladies this stuff is AMAZING! Never in my entire life have I felt a closer, smoother shave. You literally don't even need to put lotion on after your shower, and the scent is nice and fresh and doesn't interfere with anything else you use. Anyone who wants a softer, more natural cream to shave with, whether you be male or female, you need to at least try this! And to prevent razor clogging, leave water running and rinse after each swipe so it doesn't build up.

My first review!! First off, I've fallen hard for Lush products since my Wife bought me a gift set for this past Christmas, so this is a completely unbiased review. I've tried a lot of "high end" shaving products, as I need to be clean shaven for my job, and I'm also sort of a metro dude. What I really like about this cream is how it makes my skin feel after I'm done. I really don't even have to use a moisturizer afterwards, and it leaves a great close shave. The only real issue I have with it is the scent. I smelled it in the store, and thought I would love it, but once I started using it, I noticed that it sort of smells like orange essence and a hint of cigarette smoke! I thought I was nuts at first, but my wife confirmed my nose. I should mention that it's only a hint of smell, and it's not enough for now to make me stop using, but I'll probably just try a different shaving cream in the future, of course from Lush!

I have used this product, Shave the Planet, and Ambrosia and of the three this one is the best for my thick facial hair. While I liked the thickness of Shave the Planet it was a bit too greasy and Ambrosia was too light. Prince simply was moisturizing enough without being too greasy or leaving a strong scent. Only bad side is that it can clog your razor but rinsing with hot running water regularly helps reduce that to a minimum. Overall a great product!

I bought this stuff to try out for shaving my legs because store brands tend to give me razor burns and bumps. Hubby freaked out when I told him how much I spent on it and told me I was a gimmick hoarder. Granted I do have a cabinet full of products that I have bought in the past and either didn't like or forgot I bought and I do tend to hoard, lol. Hubby ran out of shave cream one morning and had to use this - he absolutely loved it! He has a thick beard and tends to have the razor burn neck due to having to shave over a spot a few times to get all the hair. This stuff keeps his skin so soft and smooth and no more red neck or bumps! He has officially stolen this from me and uses nothing else. It is a little pricey but it also last so much longer then store bought stuff so it evens out in the end. Best purchase ever!

I tend to shave about every other day. I left it on my skin for the 3-5 minutes like it says and then shaved. It is amazing how smooth my face feels after each shave, and the lotion soaks in nicely so my face doesn't feel greasy at all. The only problem I have is that it clogs the razor pretty easily.

I love this shaving cream! I originally got a trial size of it and had to get the bigger pot immediately. This is the only cream that really protects against nicks and cuts! It does clog my razor (I use a men's razor because it gets a closer shave) but I've found if you let the warm water run between the blades while upside down for about 10 seconds it gets everything off. My legs feel so smooth and moisturized after using Prince. It's a bummer it's so pricey BUT! A little bit does go along way - I'm 5'10" and its all in my legs. I use about fingertip amount per leg and its plenty.

This shaving cream was a disappointment. I didn't smell much of a scent at all and it just clogged my razor. Save your money and use a bar of soap.

I love that this product moisturizes my legs and underarms so well. I never feel like I have razor burn. BUT (and this is a big one), it clogs up my razor like no other. Unless I change my razor after every other shave (which is expensive) I end up pressing too hard and am afraid that I'm going to cut myself. My boyfriend had also tried this a few years ago and he said that it clogged his razor and made his face break out.
