I have thick long dark brown hair and I have been working on switching all of my beauty products to more safe and natural alternatives so I bought reincarnate with a 50/50 hope that it would work because my hair is so think and long it can overwhelm most products. well I was proved wrong reincarnate not only tackled my think long hair but best of all it improved and made it healthier. My hair is normally only this shiny the few days after i leave a salon and here in my bathroom mirror this brown chunk of deliciousness gave me that salon hair. I also used jungle the solid conditioner and the two products together have blown me away!! Thank you lush for these two amazing products!!

Let me start by saying that I was skeptical in using a solid shampoo. For many years, I've spent a good chunk of change on a higher end shampoo/conditioner and I really thought that was all I needed. As of recently, I've been using Lush products and came across this. I decided since my big name brand shampoo was almost gone, that I'd try this. Oh my god. Where has this been all my life? I'm in love with this shampoo. It smells great, lathers well (way better than I thought it would), and it leaves my hair so shiny. Since I have pretty thin hair, I really don't even use conditioner. I love this so much, and will not live without it.

This is a fantastic shampoo! If you have blonde hair, it will add a bit of a reddish tint over time, and if you henna your hair it will help maintain the color. Leaves my hair very shiny, but it does dry it out a bit, so I only use it a couple of times a week, with a deep conditioner.

I ordered this product a few weeks ago and i absolutely adore it! i've never used a solid shampoo before so i was a bit apprehensive to try it but i ended up loving the results. This shampoo not only makes my hair shine but also improves the natural color, i'm brunette, and leave my head feeling wonderfully renewed!

I have always used Seanik before but decided to try this as the smell sounded wonderful and I do like Henna products. I found the smell was not as strong as I would have liked, which is saying a bit because I am normally scent intollerant. Also it doesn't lather as well, but the results are great. I do not need conditioner with this shampoo.

I have been dealing with a seriously flakey/itchy scalp for the last couple of years. It's embarrassing and drives me nuts. I've only been using this shampoo for about a week or so, but I suddenly realized that I haven't had to contend with flakes since I started using it. The combo of this and Veganese conditioner seems to have totally evened out my scalp issues! I don't love the smell of this so much, but it's easily covered up by conditioner. I have extremely thick, wavy, color-treated hair.

This is the BEST shampoo! At first I wasn't sure it was going to really work for me, but after two weeks of using it I am completely in love. I have naturally curly hair and I have had a problem with hair products damaging my scalp. I used to have an embarassing itchy, painful, flaky scalp. For years, I've tried almost everything to fix it. Then two weeks with reincarnate and poof, I'm cured. My scalp is healthy and doesn't hurt, my hair is healthy, happy, and clean and I am oh so pleased.
Two things though, I think that using a conditioner with it is a very good idea. I use Veganese and they pair well together. Also, the results aren't instant, so stick with it awhile because its totally worth it.

I really wanted to try this so I bought a piece. I'm pretty disappointed with it. I don't find it does a thing to my hair except make it dry. I bought it because I have scalp issues and I have very dark hair and wanted shine. This just didn't do a thing for me. It lathers poorly and doesn't smell that great either.

Best shampoo I have ever used. 2 months after using my husband asked me if my hair is getting thicker, and yes indeed it is. This fluffs up my hair but never makes it fly-away or frizzy. My hair has never been softer or easier to manage. Bravo!

I just got this product a week ago and I've only used it a few times BECAUSE THATS ALL YOU NEED! You don't even need a conditioner after this. I use American Cream once or twice a week just to keep moisture in check. The only downside is it's a weird lather, it doesn't get sudsy like store-bought product. You kind of just rub it between your hands and run your hands through your hair. I keep a brush in the shower just to brush everything through. Such an amazing product, I love LUSH!

normally I'm a devoted Godiva user, but I've been eyeballing this for a while since I started looking through the website. so finally, I decided to order this along with Gentle Lentil. I've used it twice already and omg!! my hair is so soft and really shiny, like it was before i started dyeing it. my normally dry ends are even soft and smooth :D

it doesn't strip the oils, detangles, smoothes and shines, and my hair feels soft while lathering, plus the smell is to die for. Reincarnate is definitely worth ordering, and I may have to cheat on Godiva, and switch to this :D plus, i can't wait to see if it adds reddish highlights like some have said it's done with their hair.

(and if you cut the bar into smaller pieces, it's easier to handle and it lasts longer)

I use caca maron to dye my hair, and I've been struggling to find a shampoo that keeps the henna bright, shiny, and beautiful. Reincarnate smells fantastic.. very earthy and spicy. While the lather isn't great, I find that rubbing the shampoo bar directly on to the hair helps it lather a little more than just between the hands. LOVE LOVE LOVE!

I have rather sensitive, tempermental skin that has caused me plenty of trouble in the past when it comes to shampoos. Most drugstore shampoos will work all right for a few weeks but then they would cause my scalp to break out in painful bumps or cause dandruff. If I went more than a day without washing and conditioning my hair they would leave me a greasy, frizzy mess.

Reincarnate, on the other hand, I have been able to use without issue for three years now. It leaves my thick, wavy-to-curly hair soft and shiny and I don't have to use conditioners every day to keep from turning into a frizz ball. It smells nice, very earthy without smelling too hippie-ish, though the scent only really noticibly lasts while my hair is damp.

Some comments mention that Reincarnate doesn't lather very well. I have noticed that the best way to get it to lather is to wet the bar before I wet my hair and wash my face to give the top layer of the bar time to soften enough so it will lather when I use it. The bars last forever, though, if you keep them in a spot where they can dry out thoroughly between washes. One bar lasts me almost three months and I have a LOT of hair that I wash daily.

I am totally in love with the scent of this shampoo! It makes my hair feel amazing and really shine too. The only drawback is the bar form. I just don't like using a solid shampoo. I am sticking with it just because I adore the results I get, but it is a real hassle. I so wish they would make a liquid version of this product. I would buy it by the case!

Henna is an amazing product, and this shampoo highlights it well! It softens while strengthening, and it's lingering scent is exotic and divine, just how I hoped it would be. My hair retains moisture better when I use this shampoo, I've noticed. I just rub it in my wet hair and between my hands to work up a lather. Not only am I wondering how this got reduced to retro, but I wish there was a SERUM for the hair!!! I would die for a HENNA SERUM ❤

I definitely hated the scent of this at first, which is why I put down both smells great and smells bad. The product itself always has worked, but the scent... It took about three uses before it smelled good. At first, it smelled too earthy, but then after a few uses, it smells like a cinnamon roll! I love it. It lathers perfect and combined with American Cream conditioner, I always smell amazing after a shower.
It hasn't faded my dyed red hair, either.

This shampoo bar doesn't lather as much as others, but it's enough for me. My hair is very fine, and this doesn't make it feel greasy or weighed down. My hair is also greasy, and this doesn't make it any greasier like some shampoo bars I've tried before.

My hair is sort of a light brown/dark blonde, and reincarnate seems to really make it shine. I can't tell if it's changing the color of my hair at all, but it does seem to sort of glow.

And it smells great.
