Luxurious rose-scented shower lotion for the softest skin that ever was

LUSH product inventor Rowena made this decadent, rose-scented shower ‘lotion'. She noticed how much she liked the sultry soft feeling hair conditioner gives her hair, so she thought how nice it would be if she could have the same feeling for the body too. With scoops of cocoa butter, cupuacu butter, almond oil and Argan oils, and the fragrant scent of fresh rose petals, this is the most luxurious body softener that ever was (if we don't say so ourselves!). After washing up, slather yourself all over with this new invention. Rinse, pat dry and revel in supremely soft, rose-scented skin.

Features

  • Absolute Bliss: Wash with Turkish Delight Shower Smoothie before conditioning with Ro's Argan Body Conditioner for the ultimate in shower luxury.
  • Moroccan treasure: Argan oil is incredibly softening on the skin and has been used in Morocco for hundreds of years.
  • Smooth moves: Use this at night before you put on your pajamas and sink into slumber with soft, rose-scented skin.

Body conditioner is THE perfect term for this product. I put it on at the end of my showers after I've shampooed, soaped up, shaved etc. It feels so smooth rubbing it on and the scent is beautiful! Sweet and roses. It has a very even, medium consistency-not too heavy or light. Immediately after rinsing if off you can feel how soft your skin is. It lasts through the towel dry and lingers for the whole day. I couldn't stop smelling myself and getting whiffs of it throughout the day! This is the cherry-on-top that my showers have been missing! I'd love to see more body conditioners made.

I really do have mix feeling about this product. It does work great. After I take a shower I put apply it on my body and rinse off. It leaves my skin so so soft. My only problem is the smell. I'm not crazy about the smell. It has a rosy smell to it and its a strong scent. If the smell wasn't so powerful I would buy it again with out a doubt I wouldn't care about the price. Since the smell isn't great I'm not sure I will pay so much for this product. It would also be nice if they came out with different scents which would be great. I would of given it 5 stars because it does leave your skin soft but the scent kills it for me. I will recommend this product to a friend if I know they would like the scent.

I love this product. For one the smell is fantastic and it lingers in the skin. 4 hours later and people are still saying "Wow who's perfume smells so good?!" when it's really just my hands!

While I do think the product is overpriced (it's honestly not worth more than $20.00, you can get a similar product for much cheaper somewhere else), a little goes a long way and so I know this body conditioner will last awhile.

My favorite way to use it is immediately following using the ocean salt scrub on my hands. Then I rinse off the salt and lather the conditioner on my hands while they're still wet. My only complaint is that my hands feel kind of sticky after, almost like I've just rubbed chapstick on them. However, if you use the Buffy body butter following the conditioner and rub it in real good that sticky feeling quickly goes away! Enjoy!!

Ro's Argan Body Conditioner was my first purchase I ever made at Lush. And ever since I made this purchase 6 months ago, I'm in love with this purchase. After I'm done taking a shower, I put a generous amount of the conditioner all over my body. The problem is that I did use a lot of the body conditioner so I had to buy another order of this product. The only problem I have with this product is I felt a little greasy every time I come out of the shower. Other than that I love the way my body smells like wonderful roses. :) Ro's Argan is the reason why I became a Lush fanatic. Now I can't wait to try all the other products Lush have to offer.

This product is amazing! I have very dry skin-especially my knees and elbows are always ashy. I have not been able to find a product that keeps the moisture throughout the day/night except for Ro's Argan.

Be warned! It does leave a bit of a residue on your skin so if you want to use it in the morning...don't apply too much! (I use just a tad in the morning and wash it off for a longer period of time..that way it doesn't get greasy.)

It smells great, makes my skin smells wonderful and I kid you not, my legs are as soft as a baby's bottom right now. I can't wait to get my hands on this!

i wasnt going to get this at first when i was in the store, but the sales clerk told me i had to have it and gave me a sample, i wasnt to keen on the smell at first, but oh gosh, when i am in the shower and lather this up it turns into the most amazing thing, like im at the spa or something. super easy, just slather it on and wait a little, just let it fill your senses. its extra rich and amazing and the lotion lasts well after the shower, like all day, which is great because i am always forgetting to put some on after. i was worried that it would make my towel greasy after i wiped down or if it would break me out, but no to both, it is just wonderful, i use it everyday and have for about a year now, and it is my one constant in the shower, you need to buy it. sometimes during a long day at work i just think tat when i get home i get to use this stuff and thats what gets me through the last few hours.

I loved using this in the summer at the end of my shower. It makes my skin incredibly soft. I recently ran out & I've been craving the scent!

I received a Rosie gift set and this was in it. As soon as I ran out I had to get another pot. This is amazing! The scent isn't too strong- it's rose, but it smells a bit sweet as well. Just rub it on your skin in the shower, rinse off after a minute or so, and you're good to go. I wish they would make a perfume scented like this, or perhaps a shower gel or soap to match. True, it isn't cheap, but it's worth the price!

My favorite gal, Savannah, at my local Lush suggested this in combination with Twilight Shower Gel as a "pampering comforter" for a post-break up treatment. She tried it out on my arm at the store and I couldn't resist it because it smelled divine and made my skin feel baby smooth.
Normally I don't like floral things, but this doesn't smell like a typical "rose product" to me, it smells almost cherry like to my nose. I smoothed it over my body after washing up with Twilight and let it sit for a few minutes, then rinsed off. I didn't have an issue with "residue" in my tub, and none on my skin either (maybe because I have really dry skin or I'm use to Lush products?). It felt AH-MAY-ZING when I slipped into my super expensive, high-thread count sheets last night.

Totally suggest this to anyone with a broken heart looking for a pick-me-up, or anyone with dry skin in need of a fix.

The scent is a sweet rose and is so lovely. I like to apply this after washing my hair and using Lush body wash. I turn off the water and rub Ro's all over my body. I use just enough for a thin layer on the skin. I let it soak into the skin for a few minutes then rinse. I dry off very lightly with a towel and VOILA! Silky, soft, beautiful smelling skin and no lotion needed. This is a must try. The scent lasts on your skin for hours too!

Let me preface this by saying that I rarely write product reviews. However, I cannot say enough about this product. I am totally OBSESSED! I am normally not a big fan of rose scents, but just as everyone else has said, this scent is AMAZING! It's light, feminine, sexy, and my fiance can't get enough of it. This is such a quick, easy way to moisturize. I fight with myself every morning over whether or not I should use it. It is VERY pricey and I feel guilty using it often because I won't be able to afford a steady supply at the rate I'm going. However, I usually lose this inner battle because I convince myself that I purchased it to use it, not hoard it. I would definitely recommend this to a friend and encourage you to give it a try!

I don't usually like rose scented products because they often have that "granny" rose scent - more like tea roses. Don't get me wrong, I love grannies, but I think tea rose scents were all the rage in their youth, so that's what they like. I love the "sweet" smell of this rose.

Also, I actually don't believe in multi-tasking humans except in the select tiny real percentage who actually can do it; however, multi-tasking products as LUSH products often are - yes, please! I was Razorantium user on my lady bits - I kind of liked the faint masculine smell, and then I was a long time Prince user. I definitely liked the citrus scent. And then one day I was out of Prince, and then it dawned on me that Ro's would work great as a shave cream. Now I feel moisturized and smell great aferwards!

This product is what first got me interested in Lush. I read a review on an online blog and thought it sounded very interesting. A conditioner for your body? Awesome! I hate getting out of a nice hot shower and having to slather on cold lotion! Yes, it's crazy expensive, I almost couldn't justify it, but I just had to try. My name is Rose, and I love all things rose scented, and let me tell you, this scent is heaven. I can't even describe it, it's rose and sweet, but not cloying or old lady at all, it's just pure heaven. It feels a little unusual going on, not as soft and smooth as I thought it would be, and rinsing off it felt a bit draggy, but I think that's just the oil not mixing with your shower water. Once I was out of the shower and had dried off, it was AMAZING. I felt like I had rubbed body butter all over. I had shaved in that shower, and didn't need to put on any lotion at all. My skin has never felt so luxurious. This is an indulgence that you just can't miss out on. Try it already!

I love Ro's Argan. It's just that little something extra to add at the end of your shower to make you feel soft and sexy. The smell is wonderful and it tends to last on me for a while. Although it is effective in moisturizing my skin I wouldn't consider this product a necessity. I would say it's more a luxury for when I have the money and I'm in need of some pampering. Good stuff.

You can exfoliate first if you'd like- there's no harm in that! The way I like to think of Ro's, is as body conditioner, used similarly to how you would use hair conditioner. So first, I'd soap or shower gel up and get clean, and then after I've rinsed the soap away, I'd step out of the stream of water, apply a generous layer of Ro's all over, letting it sink it for a minute or two. Then rinse off, and hop out of the shower, and gently towel dry.

the body butter would already moisturize my skin, but i want the lingering scent of RA

you use it like you would hair conditioner. in fact i condition my hair and apply this product in the shower at the same time, turn off the water for a few minutes for the conditioners to work their magic and rinse the conditioners off at the same time.

I've only used it in the shower and that's the intended purpose. Think of it like a hair conditioner for the body... you rinse out conditioners unless it's recommended as a leave-in. There are a few users who've said they use it as a lotion but I've never tried it that way.
I shower and wash my hair first and then use this as my last step in the shower. Smooth it over your skin, leave it on for a couple of minutes, rinse it off and pat yourself dry. Done! :)

Hi! Not sure if your question has been answered yet ... it is designed to be slathered on, left on a few minutes, and then rinsed off at the end of your shower, much like a hair conditioner.

However, it's worth trying by applying very thinly after showering (too thick and it feels tacky), rubbing in a bit, and leaving on. The scent is more intense that way, and I'm not sure if you'll experience any tacky feeling (I have not as of yet, and have used it about 8 times), but it's a great way to stretch the product and experience the scent if you adore it. Oh, and it also makes my skin incredibly soft, as it is supposed to! :) Happy LUSHing!

It's a use in the shower lotion - like hair conditioner, but for your skin. Slather it on (a little goes a long way!) and then rinse off. I do it as the last thing before I get out of the shower.

I wouldn't recommend Ro's Argan to be used on the hair because it's designed with the skin in mind, and may not be quite right for hair. Instead, you might want to try a deep conditioning hair treatment for dry brittle hair. My favourite is H'Suan Wen Hua as it's packed with lots of strengthening ingredients.

It's difficult to give an estimate, as the amount needed can vary greatly depending on how dry the skin is, etc, but I find that I can get at least a good 5-6 absolute full body coatings per pot!

I wouldn't recommend it. It's a bit to oily and not solid enough to use as a conditioner. Water washes it away instantly.
