I really wanted to love this soap, but I just couldn't. Everything about it seemed perfect: the color, the moisturizing properties, the glowing reviews...but then I smelled it. It's not that it smelled BAD, it just didn't smell amazing. I smelled a sort of cherry cough syrup type of scent and behind that a VERY VERY VERY light note of vanilla. It did lather nicely, made my hands feel moisturized, and it did not melt too fast under the shower. If you actually like the scent, then go for it!!!!

This is in my top 3 Fav Lush Soaps. The smell alone makes me smile! I typically reach for this soap when I want to be in a really good mood for the day. When I first went to smell this soap, I never expected to really like it. But I love it! I never really smelled a lot of vanilla in it. However, it is definitely has a sweet smell. It's not as moisturizing as Sultana or HIWTK, but it's a bit more moisturizing than sexy peel. It also lathers pretty well. If you haven't tried it..Do so!

I first got this soap in a gift box from a friend who works at one of the shops in England. I can't tell you how much I love it, I am now on the third bar I've bought myself! I just wish it was a big bar like the one I got in my gift box! You should offer it in bigger sizes!! :o)

this is the best soap i have ever used in the shower! the smell is wonderful, and the lather is incredible! rock star soap has the thickest lather in a soap i have ever used and is similar to the consistancy of shaving cream which is the most luxurious feeling from a soap i have ever experienced. however, if you what to achieve these amazing suds in the shower, you need to use a loofah or some sort of utensil in the shower to do so. just rub the bar straight onto the apparatus you are using and you a re good to go! the lather is unreal and you will smell so pleasant for hours after your shower is over. if you havent tried this soap yet, do so soon.

This was the first product I got from Lush, it was also a gift. At first I disliked the smell but after a while it started to grow on me! I don't believe it smells like vanilla though...it smells more fruity I guess. But it is still amazing! The only thing I don't like is that the soaps leave that soapy residue feeling on your hands/body and I was never a fan of that. Otherwise it smells great and the smell actually lasts all day!

I love this soap! I couldn't say enough positive things about it. It smells so great, it's so nice to have for a bath or shower or even if you cut a small piece off and use it as a hand soap.

I wish it was moisturizing but I still love it!

I bought rock star soap because I had heard so many good things about it. I went to a Lush store and got the last two on a buy one get one free deal. I love the smell and I love the feeling of it on the skin but when I wash it off it leave a feeling of residue and dryness. I apply lotion after every shower so it's not a big deal, but when I go through these two blocks of rock star I'll try something else.

I got this as a free sample with my purchase and I was at first repelled and then intrigued by the scent. The soap is very visually appealing- what girl doesnt love pink? The smell at first was very sweet, almost too sweet. Like a mixture of cherry, cotton candy and bubblegum. It put me off at first but after trying in the shower, it grew on me. Definitley not for people who don't like strong scented stuff-I could see where others would be put off by the scent. But if you love all things girly and strong, sweet smells this is for you. Functionally, the soap got me squeaky clean, which I loved. It didn't lather very well, but I actually like that...the stuff that makes soap lather isn't the best for skin. Cute product for a definite girly girl.

when i first got it i used it in a shower and within a few days about 1/3 of it was gone! I didnt want to waste it so i decided to use it on my face! I used it during the summer and it worked wonderfully, it's a little drying but it's humid in the summer where i live and also i have oily skin so that was ok! However, if i used it now since it's so dry outside, it would be a disaster! it also smells SO good! i think it smells just like red icees! I would say it could last for probably 3 months tops if you just use it on your face and its better for oily skin types in a humid or damp climate.

This is fantastic! Rock Star smells like bright, strong, sour bubble gum. It's got tones of vanilla, citrus, and bubble gum. First impression, it's SO strong. I left cubes of it in my bedroom, and after a few days my whole room smelled like it. Not too strongly, if you don't like strong scents, but it's nice to have in a bath or bedroom to scent it.
Second, it's really soft. Not rough or slipper at all. It's creamy. It leaves my hands and body feeling clean and smelling wonderful. Perfect 10!

I'm a busy girl - as a sales manager of a Fortune 50 company, plus a full-time college student (going back for another degree), plus taking care of my family and squeezing in yoga and running, I don't get a lot of "me" time. Sometimes waking up in the morning is hard. But ever since I found this soap I look forward to getting in the shower every morning! I love the smell! If the color pink had a smell, it's definitely this. It picks me up and makes me feel great just by taking in a deep breath. Sometimes I stop by the shower when I'm home just to smell it again! I've had no problems with it drying out my skin. In fact, I typically have pretty dry skin but haven't had any issues since using this. This was my first major Lush purchase (there are no stores near me) and I couldn't be more thrilled. It doesn't get super sudsy but that doesn't bother me. I feel clean and refreshed and ready to take on the day... I am definitely a convert. I have since tossed my Bath & Body Works Shower Gels out and will be using Lush soap from here on out!

I REALLY wanted to like this soap. I really did. It smells so gosh darn amazing, that I fell in love the second I smelled it...

but our relationship didn't last.

It didn't lather on my body or in my hand, so I thought, "Hey! I'll use my loofah! That'll do the trick!" But...no such luck. There wasn't even a bubble. I scrubbed that soap into my loofah until it was stained hot pink, adding splashes of water as I went, but I got no lather, and no fun bubbles to wash with.

I've come to find that Lush's "soap" doesn't lather...like soap should. You're better off using a body wash or shower jelly...and even those don't offer satisfactory bubbles.

I LOVE the smell of this...but the formula needs to be re-visited, as Lush is not 100% natural and can add a little more suds to their recipe. :(

I love this product. I just enjoy the smell of this soap. One of my favorite soaps from Lush. I just wish they would make a lotion from it...They should also add some kind of moisterizing like Sultana.

I don't live near a lush so I order over the internet. I saw many positive reviews of this product and was very excited to try it. I love vanilla scents. When it arrived it's smell overpowered my entire shipment. To me there is no vanilla smell. It smells nauseatingly sweat and tarty. I am very disappointed. Will not buy again and would not recommend this product to anyone. I am quiet puzzled by all the hype.????

I hate this smell! It is hard to describe. Almost a sickening bubble gum mixed with a cough medicine. It is a lot of money to throw away, so I use it as a hand soap after I apply my foundation. It gets the makeup off well.

Creamy pink soap lathers like a dream and smells SO GOOD! If you're not a fan of vanilla, don't shy away from this soap, it's more of a creamy candy floss scent; not overpowering, not too sweet, just perfect.

I recived this soap in a gift set and was very excited to try it. I had smelled something really good in the gift set and when I opened the soap it smelled terrible! My skin was very tight and dry after use. This is the one and only LUSH product I have hated so far, I love LUSH but this is a total miss.
