I've been a somewhat low matinence person most of my life. I like doing the occasional facial and I am definitely a product junkie but some things seemd unnecessary to me--shower gels and body exfoliants included. However, I had been using Dark Angels cleanser for my face and I decided to use it on acne-prone spots on my body. It really seemed to help, and it made my skin so smooth, so I used it on the rest of my body once a week or so when it felt like it needed some clearing up.

However, on a recent Lush trip I saw Rub Rub Rub and was intrigued. I imagined the smell to be minty or extremely citrus-y; something too "tropical" or intense for my taste. While it totally does look like a super-fancy margarita you may order at a mexican restaurant, the scent is incredible. It does have citrus notes, but nothing is overpowering. My first thought was to describe it as sophisticated.

After enjoying the scent in the store and buying a tub, I used it immediately that night. Oh my god, not only does it smell great but a little bit goes a long way (really important to me to justify pricier items) and it works instantaneously!

One issue with Dark Angels was that it was a little too intense for some sensitive spots on my body... the grain on Rub Rub Rub is so fine that it's not an issue at all.

Totally in love with this product; please make other items with this scent.. especially a lotion to match after the shower!

I can't get over how absolutely amazing this product is! I've been looking for a nice scrub for my body for ages. This is the perfect one for me. I love the scent! I love the way it feels when I rub it on my skin, even though it feels overly rough for some people. I like it, strangely. My hands are so smooth and silky after I use this! It's a must have!

I hate mornings, but I look forward to jumping in the shower and waking up with my Rub Rub Rub. The smell instantly awakes my senses and leaves me feeling clean and soft.
This product works great before or after shaving your legs (for women) and helps soften the skin on the back of your arms and thighs.
Sadly, if you use it every day, it can go fast. I would buy it in a Rub Rub Rub Tub, if they made one!

The scent is subdued, but I really like how it smells. I am currently on my second tub of this and I love how it makes my skin feel! It leaves it feeling soft without feeling like I haven't washed it all off. It is a bit pricier than I like, but for how much I love this scrub, I'm not going to complain!

For someone who suffers from chronic dry skin, I'm always leery when purchasing a new exfoliator, but this was has already far exceeded any of my expectations. It leaves my skin feeling smooth, although I often follow it with Lush's Olive Branch for even extra conditioning. Hands down the best scrub I've ever used. Will be repurchasing again and again and again. Another great product from Lush!

I got this scrub in the Hello, Gorgeous gift set, and I have to say I am hooked. Within one (yes, one) use those tiny bumps on my arms (called KP) vanished.I will never be without this product. If you have KP, I seriously recommend giving Rub Rub Rub a try. Finish up with Vanilla Dee-lite, and you can't go wrong.

I was a little taken a back by the size of this tub compared to the price. I figured that there would be a lot of scrub factor to make up for that. I was was wrong. The sea salt is not as coarse due to the liquid components of the scrub. Because of that, I would not recommend this as a body scrub, but rather as a face scrub to be used sparingly. I might try to use it that way.

I love this product because it really smooths my skin and makes it feel really soft, plus it smells amazing! I've had it for about a month and have used probably about 1/4 of the tub. It seems like you have to use a decent scoop to get it all over your body, but it's still totally worth the price. I have tried it on my hair, but didn't see fantastic (but not horrible) results, so I just keep using it on my skin since I like it best for that.

i just went to a local store and tried this out and it was AMAZING. my hands were soft and smelled wonderful throughout the rest of my shopping trip and even outlasted my perfume.

After getting scratched up from using Sugar Scrub, I was hesitant to try another Lush scrub. But I just loved the way it smelled so I gave it a shot. I'm so glad I did. It exfoliates well and the scent is so refreshing. It really wakes me up in the morning. It's great to use before shaving.

When I walked into LUSH for the first time, there was a demonstration going on feauturing Rubrubrub. My friend and I were really amazed at how soft it left our skin, so I decided to pick it up. I used it that night, and while my skin felt very moisturized after immediatley rinsing it off, the sensation wore off really quickly, leaving my skin sort of rough. After I moisturized my body , though, it returned to its oringinal state. Overall, it gives nice long term results, so don't expect mega soft skin right away. I use it every two weeks as my exfoliant-as it is not gentle enough for everyday use. Not the best exfoliant I've used-but definitely worth a try!

Okay I know you aren't supposed to use this on your face... but I totally do. I love it - I swear it helps with my combo skin (I also have eczema - yay! :-p) As long as I keep it out of my eyes and mouth (it does not taste yummy) I figure I'm good. It's also great because you can use it all over - even as a shampoo if you need some buildup removal.

When I say that I use it on my face everyone always says to try Ocean Salt - but I did, and I feel like it just can't compare to Rub Rub Rub. Different strokes I guess!

Great Product! I love the texture of Rub Rub Rub, it is not to harsh but it still is a great exfoliating scrub. I imagine it would be good for sensitive skin if they are worried that the famous ocean salt may be to abrasive. Love Rub Rub Rub!

I use Rub, Rub, Rub as my shower gel. Like most LUSH products, a little goes a long way! This product is very easy to use (I usually unscrew the lid and slide it under the pot so that I can scoop out the product as needed without making a mess) and REALLY WORKS.

Small particles (I think its salt?) exfoliate while the rest of the ingredients cleanse, purity, and soften. Seriously, no amount of lotion or body oil has left my skin as soft as Rub, Rub, Rub! I tried Buffy Body Butter but I didn't care for the thick film it left on my skin or the way it melted all over my hands as I used it. This cleanser does everything (for me) that Buffy did, but without all of the obnoxious little quirks. Plus, this replaced my previous shower gel too.

I would recommend this to anyone looking for a non-drying body exfoliator that replaces nearly half the products in your shower (excuse my exaggeration). This product is my shower holy grail!
