Scrubby sea salt and mimosa shower wash
Rub Rub Rub is a bit of a variation on the normal shower gel. For one, it’s so thick we put it into a tub for handy scooping in the shower. Secondly, it’s a bright blue, supremely softening, exfoliating sea salt shower scrub to revive your skin. Sea salt is extra cleansing, mineral-rich and softening for the body; you can even use it as a shampoo in a pinch! Our rubby scrub is startlingly refreshing, with a dash of lemon juice and the tropical scent of mimosa blossoms for a light, blossom-scented wash and smoother skin.
- Fresh mornings: This super scrubby shower gel makes for refreshing, uplifting washes.
- Get your scrub on: Made with refreshing, mineral-rich sea salt for subtle scrubbing and smoother skin.
- Lather in luxury: Orange blossom absolute is intensely floral, and although expensive, it is one of the most popular essential oils used in perfumery.

Q:A store associate told me to never use this on my face because it's too rough for facial cleansing. How is this more abrasive than Ocean Salt? Since this only has fine sea salt rather than the large chucks like Ocean Salt does.Asked on 3/1/2015 by Ami from Topeka, KS
A:Ocean Salt is great cleanser that is gentle enough for the face but effective enough for the body as well. Rub Rub Rub is designed for the body, where your skin is a lot thicker and tougher. Keep in mind you body rubs up against your clothing a lot more than your face does and has adapted over time to such an environment. Skin on your face has to be treated more delicately, so I think the associate was right. They both have amazing Sea Salt and the both exfoliate, but the other ingredients dictate a different result for each product, indicating different intended uses for each. Rub Rub Rub might be to rough for your face and irritate skin that is more sensitive.Answered on 3/21/2015 by Alexander from LUSH Direct
Q:I LOVE the smell of this! I went into the Lush at International Mall in Tampa a few weeks back and asked the associate if you guys made any other products that smell like the Sakura bath bomb and she gave me a hand massage with this. So I bought it and love it, was curious if you have any other products (soap, lotions) with this scent?? Thanks guys! Oh and I didn't catch her name, but the associate was super sweet. Everytime I go into one of your stores, no matter what city I am in, your associates are always so helpful and friendly!Asked on 9/11/2014 by Marisa from Tampa, FL
A:Thanks so much for your kind words. We have a shampoo with the same fragrance! It's called Seanick and it's in a bar. Have a sniff next time you are in the store.Answered on 9/25/2014 by Rene from LUSH Direct
A:Hello!! There's a great shampoo bar called "Seanik" that smells just like it and also, a bomb called "Sakura". I love the smell too and every once in a while, they have a limited edition perfume of Sakura. I bought one once and it's beautiful! gillyAnswered on 9/11/2014 by gilly from louisville
Q:I was wondering what you meant when you said it could be used as a shampoo in a '’pinch” like should i not shampoo my hair with it a lot? cause that statement kind of confused meAsked on 8/29/2014 by dalal
A:Our Rub Rub Rub is very similar to our BIG shampoo so if you run out of your favorite shampoo, feel free to use a bit of Rub Rub Rub! We say in a pinch because it shouldn't be used all the time because it isn't quite as moisturizing as BIG or other shampoos and may dry hair out if used too often, but it will save you if you are "in a pinch!"Answered on 9/25/2014 by Kayla from LUSH DIRECT
A:I honestly wouldn't use it on my hair regularly. It won't hurt it but my
hair is dry, and it's just not a good match for dry hair.Answered on 8/29/2014 by Anonymous
Q:How does this compare to Ocean Salt, as they're both sea salt scrubs?Asked on 5/1/2014 by Megan from United States
A:I would say this compared to Ocean salt because they are both scrubs the
difference is the smell and textures I've tried both Ocean Salt is gritty
and the smell is almost lemony and salty and Rub rub is gentler and the
smell is more floral i like both both leave your skin wicked soft and
moisturizedAnswered on 5/5/2014 by Anonymous
A:Rub Rub Rub is made with only fine sea salt instead of a mixture of coarse and fine. Ocean Salt is able to be used for both face and body, whereas Rub Rub Rub is best for body only.Answered on 5/3/2014 by Kayla from LUSH DIRECT
A:I have both! The rub rub rub is thin and almost watery .it has very small salt pieces that are sand like. It turns into a light lather. Good for shower. I LOVE the ocean salt. I use this as a face wash. It smells great and has a thicker cream like consistency. It has bigger salt pieces and I think it exfoliates better too. It leaves your skin feeling moisturised afterward.

Q:what would be a good prouct to use for excema?Asked on 3/17/2014 by ash from norrstown, pa
A:The high concentration of salt may irritate more sensitive areas of the skin. I would recommend checking with your dermatologist if you are concerned about its affect on excema.Answered on 3/22/2014 by Kayla from LUSH DIRECT
A:I don't have excema, but I do know that this is my favorite Lush product!
I mainly use it on my body, but have used it on my face in a pinch with no
irritation. Your skin will feel so soft and smooth!Answered on 3/20/2014 by Anonymous
A:Hello! Definitely Dream Cream and Dream Wash. They are both wonderful in many ways! I hope this helps! gillyAnswered on 3/17/2014 by gilly from louisville
Q:This might be a silly question, but can this be applied to the vaginal area ? If not is there a scrub that you could reccomend that would be okay for thatAsked on 11/4/2013 by a from winston salem, NC
A:I would not recommend putting any of our products on your vaginal area. Medically, that area is extremely sensitive and we would not want you to have a reaction. If you would like to use Rub Rub Rub on your bikini line, that would be perfectly okay!Answered on 11/17/2013 by Anonymous
Q:Can this product be used on the face?Asked on 10/19/2013 by Megan
A:You may use this for your face, the choice is up to you! Although, with the sea salt in this product it may be slightly rough on your face. It is an excellent exfoliant and can be used on ones face.Answered on 11/21/2013 by Anonymous
Q:I understand that Rub Rub Rub can be used as a shampoo as well as scrub, however is it safe to use on colored/dyed hair?Asked on 7/8/2013 by Hayley from NC
A:Rub Rub Rub contains loads of sea salt, which is naturally very cleansing and does tend to strip colored hair quicker than products that do not contain it. We would not recommend it for color treated hair.Answered on 8/21/2013 by Melissa S from LUSH Direct
A:I used this product on my bright blue hair, and while I don't think it made the color fade any faster than usual it did dry it out quite a bit. Just to be safe I'd use something else instead.Answered on 7/28/2013 by Paige from Toronto
Q:Does this help with cellulite? I start by rubbing this over my dry sin, and then rub and rinse with water after - it makes my skin feel AMAZING! It seems similar in premise to dry brushing, which is why I ask..Asked on 7/17/2012 by kiki from austin tx
A:Exfoliation helps increase circulation which can improve the appearance of cellulite. It's definitely worth a try!Answered on 8/28/2012 by Megan from LUSH Direct
