This was my very first LUSH bath bomb and I had high hopes after hearing about them. I had initially planned to buy the Sex Bomb based on reviews here, but once I got to the store and smelled a bunch, I really liked the fragrance of the Sakura the most, so I went with this one. I have to say it smelled absolutely incredible and I was pretty impressed with the fizzing that happened as soon as I dropped it into the water. Unfortunately, other reviewers here are correct in saying that it really doesn't last very long at all. I think it was completely dissolved within 3 or 4 minutes, if that. I ended up cutting my bath short, but I also had applied a face mask before getting in and the heat and steam from the bath were making it impossible for it to dry. Had I not needed to remove the mask, I would have definitely stayed in longer because it did smell amazing and the water made my skin feel so soft. I don't know if I would get this particular bath bomb again, but I am looking forward to trying many more of them in the future!

Calgon ain't got nothin on Lush! Sakura, MMM bath melt, and Comforter for bubbles. This combo had me in Heaven. I was so relaxed I had to make myself wash (with Flying Fox), instead of just sitting there and taking in the great scents. I had a lot on my mind and the stress just dissolved. No pun intended! Skin was soft afterward, no lotion necessary.

I absolutely adore this product. I always have at least half a bath bomb around; when I get down to half of one, it's time to order more.

As a bath bomb--which is what it's meant to be, of course--I find it extremely soothing. The scent is floral without being heavy, and there is just a hint of something fruity underneath. The cherry blossom smell truly is the strongest.

It does soften my skin somewhat, but I admit the effect there is minor. Existent, noticeable, yes, but minor. I've never had any problems with petals or needed to put it in a nylon or tea ball.

However, after accidentally discovering another benefit of Sakura, I don't use it in the bath any longer.

I have anxiety attacks. One day, I went to take a bath while having one, hoping it would help, and happened to put Sakura in the tub.

The effect was atonishing. I don't claim this would work for everyone this way (though it has for two of my friends who also suffer from anxiety), but for me, after about five minutes of smelling the Sakura, my anxiety attack went away entirely. It was as effective as anxiety/panic attack medication, but (thankfully) lacked all the side-effects of the medication I had tried. (Side-effects I hated.)

I no longer need any medication, and, as said, I no longer use Sakura in the tub. Instead, I carve up a bath bomb into 8-10 equal portions. When I feel an anxiety attack coming on, I put one portion into a mug and add hot water to it. I then simply inhale the scent and calm down within five minutes.

The bath bomb lasts far longer, and since I wasn't overly impressed with anything beyond the scent of Sakura and how it calmed me, this works perfectly.

When calmed, I reheat the water in my microwave and set it in a room in my apartment, letting its scent fill the room. Once that's done, I take a bath and pour in whatever of the mixture has not evaporated; enough to add just a hint of scent to my bath, and it makes sure I get every possible use out of the Sakura Bath Bomb that's possible.

If, tomorrow, Lush announced they were discontinuing Sakura, I would probably order as many of the item as possible, along with saving the ingredients so I could mix up essential oils when the Sakura-stash ran out. A true lifesaver, for me and for my two friends.

I mean, I like this bathbomb. It was the first bathbomb I ever bought from Lush, and I really liked how it smelled in the store. There are even poprocks in the center of Sakura. But when you put this in the bath, the water is barely even a milky white and the scent is really weak. Overall, Sakura is an okay bathbomb.

This smells so good. When I first bought one I couldn't bring myself to use it up. I put it in the bathroom to enjoy the scent, then in my closet as a linen scent. I just went and bought another one, and I intend to dump the whole thing into a big bath and enjoy :)

I typically stay away from anything that smells to flowery, unless its rose-scented, but this bath bomb is just so full of instant happy that I succumbed to its charms.

I love the smell of flowers so I really really wanted to LOVE this product, while it was nice, it wasn't what I expected. The scent is so lovely and it really does smell like flowers but it was barely there and didn't linger long after the bomb had dissolved. I also didn't find that it softened my skin as much as the other bath bombs I've used. While I love the scent I feel like I would need two just and use a butterball bomb to get the results I want and that's just too much money to spend on one bath for me. It may be great though for someone who is sensitive to smells.

I ordered this thinking it would smell like Cherry Blossoms and also because I loved the way it looked. Sadly, it was a disappointment to me. The scent was too strong for me and I didn't smell any cherry blossom.. It didn't add any color to the water at all.

I didn't find this product to be anything special. I've used many different bath bombs by LUSH and I was really excited to try something new. This smells absolutely wonderful before it is dropped in the bath. I found that the scent didn't linger and didn't do much for my skin. I enjoy bombs that not only smell amazing in the bath but also have pretty colors or leave my skin feeling amazing, which this bomb didn't. It may have been that I didn't use it soon enough after purchase but regardless, this bomb shouldn't be bad after a week of sitting around.

Love Sakura! Was recommended to me after I mentioned my addiction to Rub, Rub, Rub and it does smell very similar. Not as flashy as other bath bombs, but certainly smells amazing and makes your skin feel silky smooth. This product only increased my Lush obsession.

I've only ever used Sakura as a bath bomb (just plopped it into a nice warm bath), and wasn't too pleased- it dissolved too quickly with little left to show for it, just a little bit of frothy white residue skimming the surface of the water, and the smell didn't linger either. I don't take baths often, so I prefer a product with a more lasting effect. But, after reading other reviews I'm considering just getting some to keep around for its wonderful scent. I have to say I'm a total scent junkie. Every day I use a few products each with lovely and distinct scents to the extent that I don't even smell my own perfume on me even if someone else points it out. That said, Sakura had me taking many whiffs before I got around to using it. So, as a bath bomb it doesn't impress, but the smell is fantastic and warrants use of this product.

I can't believe this only has 4 stars. This and twilight are my favorite scents at lush. I do not typically like floral scents which is how this is described. I really wouldn't describe Sakura as floral but I also don't know how to describe the scent. It's a more subdued scent compared to most of their other scents. The scent is also in seanik, rub, rub, rub and 17 cherry tree lane. I wish this came in perfume because I'd never leave home without it. AMAZING!

I really liked Sakura. It's great for those of us who get antsy sitting in the bath for too long. I really liked the scent. It was subtle, but it did smell like cherry blossoms. I like to use a Sakura in a short little bath before reluctantly sitting down to cram for a math test.

The smell when I first bought it was a little overwhelming but once I got home and put it in my bath, the smell was intoxicating. The smell lasted a long time on my skin and left it feeling very soft.

Ah, I love this bomb! Smells wonderful (it has the same scent as Rub Rub Rub shower exfoliator & 17 Cherry Tree Lane soap), and it lasts for a long time in the bath. I can't wait to purchase this again!

I was looking for something nice and simple to take a bath in one day, and I wanted to try something new. I've been under cherry blossom trees, and vaguely remembered using a cherry blossom soap once upon a time, and Sakura smelled lovely enough, so I picked it up.

It fizzed wonderfully in the bath, the smell filled the apartment, and I was relaxed and happy as I soaked in the tub. It didn't leave behind any film or grit, and all was well.

Honestly, I don't have complaints about Sakura as I just don't have raves for it. The cherry blossom smell is truly lovely, but it just doesn't smell right on my skin. On some people, I'm sure it will smell exotic and feminine, but on me (I'm an Alkmaar/Twilight/Flying Fox type) it just smelled powdery and matronly. Of course, the smell lingered on me, on my sheets, and all through the apartment for the rest of the day, so if you get on well with this scent, you are in luck! I also felt a bit dried out afterwards, so I would not recommend Sakura to anyone with dry skin unless also used with a bath melt or a lotion.

Again, I do think Sakura is a fine product, it's just not for me.
