I find this soap to be amazing. The citrus smell is so fresh, and I love the idea of the sand. I had some back acne all along the top of my back and after about a week-2 weeks of using this soap (only this soap), I can't feel a single bump! For me personally, I don't find it to dry my skin out. It's hard to say whether or not this soap is moisturizing because I rarely ever have to use lotion on my body other than my hands/face on a regular basis. All in all, I absolutely love this soap and I think I'm going to continue buying it in the future!

One one of my restocking trips I got a sample of this and now it is a must have in my life! I usually use it every other day as it is on the expensive side. I believe it is worth the price. Really helps if you get those tiny bumps on your upper arms like I do.

A friend of mine recently recommended LUSH and especially raved about Sandstone as a shower soap/scrub bar so I decided to give it a try. I was a little skeptical about spending more money for shower soap than normal but it was totally and completely worth it! I am seriously impressed by the results after only a couple of uses, enough to know that I will never use another brand again. The soap smells nice and left me feeling very clean and the sand part of the bar was great for exfoliating my skin, especially problem areas such as the heels of my feet. The price was not bad for the size of the bar, and they can cut it into different sizes depending on your needs/funds. I hear the bar lasts a long time, and so far it seems to be lasting just fine, but since I only just started using it I won't know for sure until I actually run out. Also, I had no issues with messiness or the sand getting all over the place, yet. Either way I highly recommend this soap.

I have a pretty bad case of Keratosis Pilaris on my arms, and Sandstone has made it possible for me to wear short sleeves again. I scrub my arms daily and follow up with a coconut body oil. No more bumps, only very minor red spots, no one sees them anymore! I've tried a number of other exfoliants and nothing comes close. I keep my bar in a sealed container in the shower to help make it last longer. I'm getting one for my sister too, I know she's going to love it!

Spend a great deal of time outdoors, working hard. Wife gave me this to use and I scoffed at first, but the sand took all the dirt and grime away without leaving a noticeable odor afterwards.

Great product if you like the scrubby, squeaky clean feeling. It can be a little harsh and drying on sensitive skin so try it out in store first. Use this soap with Ro's Argan conditioner and your skin will feel baby soft.

Let me just say, this stuff is great. I received this as a sample with a massage bar I ordered, and I love it more than the massage bar. The samples aren't very large but I got two uses out of it, and I scrubbed down my entire body.

You can really feel the bits of sandstone going to work. It's perfect- not so gentle that it isn't effective, but not so rough that your skin is red afterwards. It doesn't lather up a lot, but I preferred that with this soap. It has just enough soapiness to make it glide easily over your skin while you exfoliate. It's more oily, which is great because you're exfoliating and moisturizing at the same time.

I put lotion on after my bath, just to really treat my skin. The next day, my skin felt baby soft. Not even an exaggeration. I would definitely recommend this.

I hardly ever buy soap (usually make my own), but I got this as a sample and was thrilled. The sand has just the right amount of scrub to help wash away the blahs, it smells great, cleans great, doesn't dry out skin too much. I use it on my face, it is gentle but scrubby at the same time!

I use this a lot in the shower during the summer months & after sweaty visits to the gym. I've always loved sand as an exfoliator & the clean, citrus smell is a big plus too. I have sensitive, oily skin & tend to suffer breakouts on my chest & back. After using this about 3 times a week my back & chest acne finally started to show some improvement. I only use it about once a week in the winter though, as it can be drying. And it doesn't always leather very well either. Sometimes I end up having to lather up my bath sponge a couple of times to have enough for my entire body. But overall, it's the best exfoliator I've found thus far. And yes, some sand does end up on the bottom of the tub/shower, but for me it's no big deal to use a few cupfulls of water & rinse it out.

I love using this to scrub my feet. It removes any rough or dry skin and leaves them feeling smooth and soft. I often like to walk barefoot which means my feet can get pretty dirty on the bottoms (ick I know). This soap really scrubs away all of the dirt. I highly recommend this for use on rough skin. It can be a little abrasive for more delicate skin.

This is my favorite LUSH soap and just what the doctor ordered if you're a serious exfoliator. The most no-nonsense scrubber I've ever come across, Sandstone smells like spiked lemonade and is an exotic blast if you can handle it. Massage this onto your body when you want to be polished to a high sheen, and don't let its intensity scare you off. Sandstone made quick work of the annoying red bumps I used to have on my arms, and even though my skin does feel quite tight after using it, once dry it is breathtakingly soft and smooth. I never intend on running out of it!

I wash using the soap alone no wash cloth. It leaves your skin smelling great and your bathroom too. It has a candy lemon smell. It also makes your skin very soft. It can be overly scrubby at times. I only washed around 15 times with the soap so it doesn't last long.

Love everything about this product! The only thing that bummed me out was that when started becoming thin, it would just break apart so easily I had to stop using it in the shower and use it for handsoap (I love it so much, I would never let it go to waste!)

Sandstone was reccommended to me in the store by the very knowledgable sales lady. I haven't ever really properly exfoliated my skin before so I am looking into ways of doing that and she reccommended Sandstone to me.

I love how this soap makes my skin feel after every shower and the smell is wonderful. I feel like I have to be kind of careful though because if my skin isn't wet enough, it does kind of hurt when you use the soap. I correct that by getting the bar a bit wet and then stand in the stream of water for a minute before doing it again. The biggest issue I have with this soap is that it does leave a little residue of sand at the bottom of the tub. That's easily enough fixed though so, that's not really a bad thing. It does work really well and I'm definitely buying it again.

Sandstone is a soap with an attitude. It is here to exfoliate your flaky, sorry self until you're as smooth as a rose petal - and it does. It even works on the autoimmune-linked rash on my upper arms. Over the past two weeks I have used Sandstone every other day, there has been a decided improvement in look and feel, with less red, less flaky spots, and smoother skin! It's flat out amazing.

I do really strenuous workouts, and find that just using regular soaps and a washcloth won't get the icky workout off of my skin. Sandstone takes it all off, no need to rinse the washcloth & start again. Not only does it really get you clean, no matter how icky you may feel, but it leaves you smelling so very, very good. Couldn't recommend this soap enough, especially to major fitness enthusiasts who have to scrub and scrub.

I was told in store that this would be good to use every other day or every few days, but with my dry skin it's nice to use it every day. It leaves my skin SUPER smooth and the dullness is all gone! The citrus-y scent lingers for quite a long time, too. It's perfect for using before shaving, scrub up, rinse off and you'll get a super close shave that's perfect! My skin is highly sensitive but I haven't had any issues with it!

Next to Ocean Salt, this is one of my favorite products to use in the shower. Sometimes the sand can feel a little too rough, but normally it feels really nice. The effects that this product has on my skin is really effective and nice. It leaves my skin feeling smooth and evens out the tone.

Sandstone is one of my favorites. I first use the sandy side to gently buff away my patches of dry, wintery skin. Then I rinse off and use the soap side which is both moisturizing and has a wonderful citrus scent. When I am done, it leaves my skin feeling soft and mositurized. The only con is it will leave a ton of sand in the bottom of your shower when you are done. I have also heard of some people using it as a facial soap. I'm not sure if I'd recommend it for that. Perhaps it is because I have fairly sensitive skin, but I think it may be a bit too rough/irritating for facial skin.
