I decided to try something new while treating myself to some old Lush faves, so I threw the Sandy Santa in my basket. Tried it yesterday--I didn't know how great it was going to be! My whole body was baby soft, and when battling winter dryness I call that an accomplishment. Not only is my skin softer, it's firmer and more radiant. I've never been proud of my legs; after a little scrubbing with this product, I didn't recognize them! The only downside: it was rough on my skin at first. I'd recommend using it in a warm shower and holding it under the water for a few seconds before use--not enough to melt it, but enough to soften it up for your skin. Plus, the shower melts away any mess pretty quickly.

Sandy Santa is great and I want it all year long!

Smells amazing, warm and bright, a perfect treat for a cold winter's day. The melting of Santa's hat can be a bit dramatic and leave red splotches in the shower if you aren't careful, and it does soften enough that having a dish or tin handy to save it for next time is important. It leaves my skin soft and smooth and smelling happy!

I use this product right after using my Mr.Punch soap, I grab a piece of it & scrub everywhere. Works very well for elbows & exfoliates skin it doesnt leave a sting afterwards like any other scrub would. Also, it has a great smell kind of fruity but also spicy perfect for those who arent crazy about strong christmas smells. Overall very good product I would recommend it to everyone.

I am a big fan of Lush products. I really love them, and if I am in need of some help taking care of my body, they are the first ones I go to. This little bar of sandy santa lasted me ONE shower. I couldn't believe it. Also, the red dye in the hat made it look like I was bleeding all over the tub :/ It was more gentle on my skin than the sugar scrub, but I have "chicken skin" and I need a harsh scrub. Also, I didn't like the smell.

This was the first scrub from LUSH that I have bought. I decided to use it at the end of my shower before bed. It felt great on my skin in the shower (I did what the LUSH employee recommended, didn't wash off body wash and just used the scrub over it). My skin tends to be dry so often in the shower I can feel itchy, and have used mitts or exfoliating accessories to really scrub my skin. The Sandy Santa was a great all in one product. The smell is great, and I didn't think it was too harsh, just right. My only drawback is that I didn't realize they are meant to be one time use products... I used the scrub on my upper body and torso, and then put it down. Minutes later I noticed that with the scrub being wet and sitting there, it had started to dissolve!! I panicked and used the rest on myself, since I didn't want to waste it. Next time, I will break off pieces to make it last a little longer, and keep the dry section in a tin maybe. Overall, I can't wait to go back and stock up on these since they are for the holidays only.

I was really looking forward to this sugar scrub since, as was mentioned by other reviewers, the other sugar scrubs offered by Lush are slightly more abrasive than I like. The texture of this one is great and the combination of finer sugar and sand does wonders for exfoliating without leaving my skin red and feeling scratched up and it smells really light and lovely. However, it does melt incredibly quickly. Even stored out of direct contact with water, after two times in the shower, it had melted into a paste and became messy to use. This alone wouldn't stop me from wanting to use it since it's still effective even when it isn't in its solid state, but the red dye used to color his hat is the deal breaker. Not only did it leave a slightly pink tint on my skin, but also dripped bright red dye all over my shower, including on my shower curtain, which had to be immediately bleached to remove the staining. If Lush just left the novelty red dye out of this product, it would be so much better!

I think I have tried every sugar scrub that Lush has done, and while I have liked the others, I really, really love Sandy Santa. The smell is absolutely divine--the perfect combination of sweet (but not cloying) and spicy. It also leaves skin feeling softer and smoother than previous sugar scrubs. The smell lingers a bit on my skin after stepping out of the shower--I just wish it lingered a little longer (as I don't want the experience to end!).

The bright red bits (from Santa's cap) have a courser texture and aren't quite as pleasant to use, and they can be a little messy (although they don't seem to leave any stains). I keep my sugar scrub in a little plastic resealable container to keep it from melting away, so it lasts for many showers. I agree with others who've asked for this to be available year round. I'd definitely keep buying it!

THIS ITEM IS PERFECTION! My shower routine now revolves around this product, I am so in love with this scrub I am gifting it to everyone I know and labeling it supercalifragilisticexpialidocious! No word to describe my love.

As a full-time college student with two jobs I basially run around town and sweat all day...to the point my skin has a thin, grey, clay-texture layer from dead skin cells. I was at the point of scrubbing constantly in the shower! Exfoliating everyday wasting time, money, energy, and so much water. So I recently tried LUSH Sugar Scrub based on great reviews and it was OKAY; kind of harsh, kind of breaks apart, kind of melts strange, but at least it didn't make me oily.

When I came back to restock one of the LUSH girls remembered me and threw this on my arms, I thought it was weird until I felt Sandy Santa action on my arms. It is so smooth! So fine! So easy! LEAVES YOU SO CLEAN! SMELLS LIKE CITRUS GOODNESS! It cuts my shower time in half, leaves me so much cleaner, and the price is a basic steal! I love it so much. I am honestly preparing to hoard this product as it is ONLY A LIMITED TIME EDITION! *stop reading, get up out of your seat GET YOURS NOW!!*

This very sandy scrub has a surprisingly fruity scent to it, which is why I pair it with Iced Wine. It's a bit abrasive but definitely does the job, leaving the skin soft and smooth.

I love the smell and was really looking forward to trying this product. Don't know if this is supposed to happen, but Santa began to disintigrate within seconds of use. I put his remains in a soap dish and plan to try again, but I thought it would last for at least 5 showers...not just 2 or 3.

This is so awesome! My skin felt really smooth and silky after using it for the first time. And the smell, wow! I just love the scent and the way it stays on my skin!
The only thing I'm not too happy about is the fact that it melts quickly. I should have put it in a container , break it apart and just use a small piece I need. Oh well, there's always the next time.
I'm going to buy some more of these in my local Lush store. This is now in my favorite list!

PLEASE MAKE THIS PRODUCT YEAR ROUND (doesn't have to look like Santa). The smell is amazing and the scrub is gentle enough to use all over your body. Sugar scrub's sugar is too harsh to use anywhere but the feet. Sandy Santa has the perfect amount of scrubbiness. The smell should be turned into a year round perfume as well!

I love this scrub ! I use it on Fridays to "wash off the week" and it really gets my skin clean and sooo soft/smooth. It smells spicy almost, something I wouldn't normally go for but I really like it. I just wish it was a bit bigger .

The Sandy Santa is a wonderful sugar scrub. It holds together much nicer than previous sugar scrubs and can be used over several bath/shower sessions. It does melt a bit in between showers, so I would recommend placing it in a dish, otherwise it can get messy. Overall, I highly recommend it and will be purchasing more :)
