Q:When you use this spray, is it's only purpose to hold hair? Or is it supposed to make your hair look beach wavy?Asked on 2/4/2015 by Baldurby
A:Our Sea Spray is used mainly to add a beachy texture to the hair, but it also provides a light hold. The sea water and sea salt will help to add that oomph to the hair while also gently holding the hair in place!Answered on 2/13/2015 by Meg from LUSH Direct
A:The Sea Spray does both...I love it for making the beach waves, but also giving my hair a little hold. It's very gentle, and every I use it, someone tells me how good I smell!

Q:Would this work to lock dreads?Asked on 12/29/2014 by Corinne from Monmouth, OR
A:Hi there! Thanks for your question. It will work with dreads - but not 100% certain it will hold to lock the dreads, like a wax would.Answered on 1/2/2015 by Anonymous

A:I spray some Sea Spray in my hair after every shower and I think that it gives my hair great volume! I don't think it damages hair, but it makes it super shiny and smell great!

Q:Will the salt in this product damage my hair after repeated usage?Asked on 9/16/2013 by Bridgie
A:No, the sea salt will give shine and volume, but will not damage the hair.Answered on 9/20/2013 by Megan from LUSH Direct
A:It has not damaged my hair in the least and I've been using it for over a year daily. I am a hairdresser by trade and I would use this product on any one of my customers without hesitation. Salt does not build up on the hair shaft as it is water soluableAnswered on 9/18/2013 by Anonymous
Q:I bought this amazing product without realizing that it expires in a week. Is it okay to use after the expiration date? Will it still work as well?Asked on 5/5/2013 by Mbee
A:The Sea Spray has a shelf life of 14 months from its "made on" date so if it was just purchased recently you should still have plenty of time to use it. Make sure to double check the "use by" year, as sometimes it can be a little bit confusing! We don't recommend using the products after their "use by" date.Answered on 9/20/2013 by Melissa S from LUSH Direct
Q:Is this product safe for color-treated hair, specifically red?Asked on 1/21/2013 by Anonymous
A:When you have colour treated hair, it is best to stay away from products that have a lot of Salt and Citrus in them since those ingredients are naturally clarifying. Sea Spray contains sea salt, sea water and grapefruit oil in it. Depending on your hair and the dye that you use, this product may have the potential to strip the colour out of your hair and therefore you may not want to use it.Answered on 8/21/2013 by Elizabeth from LUSH Direct
Q:Will this product work well for people with normal-thick hair?Asked on 12/28/2012 by Anonymous
A:Sea Spray can be used for any hair type to help with texture, fullness, and hold. We find it is best to experiment to see how it works with your own hair type depending on the results you are looking for!Answered on 3/7/2013 by Melissa S from LUSH Direct
Q:What kind of texture does it add to the hair?Asked on 11/7/2012 by Kay from Lowell MA
A:Sea Spray adds a light hold and texture to the hair, which feels similar to how the hair feels after swimming in the ocean!Answered on 11/7/2012 by Melissa S from LUSH Direct
