I rub this product with water and it all just lathers up into my palms. So easy and so quick! It smells refreshing like the sea haha not fishy though! I also use Solid Conditioner and my hair just feels squeaky clean. I have itchy scalp and I have not yet felt an itch!? Is this possible!? I absolutely love this because of that. I go to bed with my hair damp and when I wake up, my hair is slightly wavy and has some volume I didn't even have to blow dry nor straighten.

I have thick hair. Asian/Italian thick hair. That being said, this little bar lathers up like a champion and gets my entire scalp squeaky clean. It doesn't weigh my already heavy hair down, so I have bouncy, shiny, healthy hair that smells amazing.

The girls at the store recommended I just do four swirls around my head, but that's too little. I get my hair thoroughly wet and then rub the shampoo to almost coat the entire top... this will be more than enough and it lasts for a long time as long as you store it out of your shower after each use. I'm obsessed with this product and so happy to finally find a shampoo that works for my hair.

Seanik is a hearty little bar, both efficiently cleansing and long lasting. It doesn't have much of a smell, so if you crave a sweet-smelling head then pick one of their liquid shampoos or just count on your conditioner to do that job. It's fantastic that you can buy this unpackaged, but it does contain the worrisome ingredient Cocamide DEA, so go for Jumping Juniper if you are a stickler for that stuff, as it performs roughly the same as Seanik (for me, anyways).

This product is amazing! I don't know where to begin- I have extremely curly, frizzy hair which is subject to ponytails and buns because of the very dry climate I live in. This is the first shampoo I have found that not only cleans well (my scalp feels incredible!), but keeps my hair from drying out. It left my curls shiny and bouncy with no additional products. I was also surprised by how well the bar lathers. I got the same amount of lather from about 5 seconds of rubbing the wet bar in my hands as I do from a huge glob of liquid shampoo. The small size is great for travel, and I will definitely be bringing a few bars up to college with me in the fall!

I love this because it curls and volumizes my hair! Nothing works on my hair! I have a curling iron and my curls never stay without a pro hair spray but now my awesome lush shampoo does it all in one! So happy! Lush is the only stores I buy my skin are at! Now hair care! The seaweed may make you have bad thought but its the thing that softens the hair! This works best without a conditioner because with one it will weigh fine thin hair down. If you have thick hair use a simple conditioner

I have frizzy hair. Not just a little frizzy either...I used to get called poodle in middle school... That being said, I have learned to embrace my voluminous, curly hair and steer clear of any type of volumizing hair products. However, I'm addicted to all things blue. So, when a lady who works at Lush showed me Seanik shampoo, I was faced with a huge conflict! She assured me that it didn't add a large amount of volume and recommended R&B to use after the shampoo. So I gave it a go and boy am I glad that I did! It adds just the right amount of boost that my hair needs and paired with R&B, my frizzy mess of hair is transformed into soft, shiny, luscious curly hair. I went back and bought one for my mom because I love it so much and she loves it, too! I will definitely be buying this product again and again!

I love the solid shampoo because it lasts a long time. I only need 3 swipes for shoulder-length hair. I store mine in a lotion tin instead of the shampoo tin because it's easier to get out. DEFINITELY make sure it dries out between uses, or it will get soft and smushy. I don't notice any increase in volume using this, as advertised, but it does the job for cleaning oily hair and normal hair. The one definite downside is that if it drips into your eyes it BURNS. Oh my goodness, it hurts so bad. My eyes get swollen and red for hours.

I loved the smell of Sea Spray, but couldn't get past the gummy feeling it gave my hair. I returned it and asked for a shampoo that would leave my normal hair (bangs tend to get oily early) feeling clean, smelling great and looking shiny.

O.M.G. I feel like the sparliest mermaid. I love this stuff! I will never go back to a liquid shampoo.

I also use this as a body soap too with a loofa. The smell is incredible and it lathers up so easily. Cruelty free. No more need for bottled shampoo. This one was a gift. And I might be imagining things, but my hair isn't falling out as much as it did using standard shampoos and conditioners. Hair feels weightless, feels clean and definitely gets noticed. Love this product.

As a new Lush lover, I had no idea where to begin, I did research on a bunch of Lush shampoo products and decided that Seanik would be best for my first Lush shampoo! I cannot believe how well this product works!! It lathers so well and takes so little. It cleans perfectly and leaves my hair big and bouncy. There wasn't a crazy amount of shine, but my hair is soft and looks healthy. It also smells so nice! The scent stays in all day and I love how fresh it smells. I have pretty fine hair, so I was pleasantly surprised by the volume that this product gave me. I would definitely recommend this to anyone with similar hair as mine!

Two years ago I purchased my first bar of Seanik and I must say that at first I wasn't too sure about a solid shampoo, but I am now absolutely in love. I have thick, wavy hair and Seanik brings back life into my waves. The smell is refreshing and reminds me of summer at the beach. Not only does it enhance my natural waves, it adds shine and makes my hair look healthier and cleaner. I love how this shampoo doesn't strip away at my hair with harsh chemicals found in other shampoos. With the right conditioner, your hair will look amazing!

This was the shampoo I went off to school with.
I went through about a million bars of it, just because people kept grabbing it and rubbing it on their grubbies, thinking it was soap, so I had to throw a bunch out. Every time I did, though, I felt a pang of sadness, because it's just so great!
I struggled with very oily hair in middle school, and this took care of that, no problem. I had beautiful, full, shiny hair that all the girls in the dorm were jealous of. My roommate always searched for my hair products, but I didn't have any for her to find, except my little bar of "soap". I used some conditioner - I don't remember what, but it was very light - and my hair was always super soft and manageable, even at three and a half feet long! This shampoo actually completely normalised my hair. I haven't used it in a long time (budget reasons) but my hair is still always fabulous with minimal (or no) effort. No oily, flaky hair here!
Because I had so much hair - it's thick, not just long - I went through this stuff like mad, but I also used it when I hacked my locks off, and it actually has decent staying power when faced with a normal amount of hair. Sure, on occasion I'd find a piece of seaweed in my hair, but it wasn't very often. And it's seaweed. So what if there's a "leaf" in your hair? Blame the trees outside!

I love this product! I am never using regular shampoo ever again. It lathered so well, and you barely have to use any at all. My hair has never been so shiny and my ends have never been so soft. Which is really saying something since i haven't gotten a hair cut in about 2 years! I really would recommend getting the tin to put the shampoo bar in, because if you leave it there, it WILL melt away! Also, to use: you should just rub the bar on your hands or hair a little bit. don't try to cut a piece off or anything because you'd be using way too much.

I was hesitant to use this product daily but it actually worked for me. I needed something to remove styling products from my very fine, straight hair. I purchased Seanik, Veganese and Jungle. I love all three. My scalp is no longer dry/itchy and I don't need to use as much product to style my hair.

My very favorite shampoo bar is Karma. I'm obsessed with it. But, I thought I would try something new so I got Seanik. I loved the smell and I wanted something that would give me more volume. When I tried it though, I found that Karma actually gives my hair more volume! Maybe it's just because of my type of hair? (very thick.) I also found that this shampoo leaves a residue in my hair, and makes it not feel clean.

I am so in love with this shampoo! I bought it after receiving a sample of the Big Solid Conditioner (which I also adore). When I moved to a new city I found that the hard, gross water was lethal to my hair. It went from being full, and wavy and bouncy to being limp and oily and flat. Nothing else I have tried would return it back to being my hair. This shampoo has ended my hair nightmare. I was a little hesitant to try a solid shampoo. I was worried that it wouldn't clean my hair or lather up well. Turns out neither is an issue and it's super easy to use. Added bonus that it makes travel easy too! I have so much more room in my bag. I'm thankful to have beautiful hair that people compliment me for again.

I bought this on a whim to suit my travel needs, and boy am I glad I did. This thing is AWESOME! Not only does it smell fantastic, (mild, but very fresh with citrus and earthy undertones), but it works better than any bottled shampoo that I've got. I've got INCREDIBLY thick hair. Not only do I have a lot of it, but the strands are thick as well. I swipe it several times down the length of my hair, and underneath it, rinse the bar off and put it away. What's left is a surprisingly large amount of lather, and a fantastic aroma. Scrub it in like usual, and wash it out. It leaves my hair feeling very clean.

My only complaint (and this may just be a thick hair problem) is that I have to use conditioner with it, otherwise it'll leave my hair a tangled mess.
