This shampoo bar is the first lush product that I have ever used. I heard great reviews about it and was itching to try something from lush. I am so glad I picked this up! The first time I used it, I decided not to used conditioner to see how the shampoo worked by itself. My hair flowy with nice volume. Also, it did a surprisingly nice job in cleaning my hair. My hair is straight and quite thick, but this shampoo has made it light and soft.This was a great purchase from lush! However, it is a bit of a pain to dry/store the shampoo after each use, but it is worth it.

I really love this shampoo, i use it every day and my hair is always super clean, shiny, and voluminous. I find that when my thicker hair gets long it is easily weighed down and i wanted something to help with my natural volume. A lush employee recommended Seanik and it defiantly helps. Very happy with this product.

Seanik is my first foray into solid shampoo (a gift from a friend), and I'm loving it so far! When I first got it my hair was pretty long (mid-back/below my bra-line) and I've always had very straight, soft, fine hair that can be prone to tangling. I was a bit divided at first because, although I loved how clean Seanik made my hair and scalp feel, it did seem a bit more likely to tangle than before. It wasn't enough to dissuade me from using it, largely because my scalp hasn't been this happy in a long time.

I used to wash my hair every day because it really shows oil, being as fine and light colored as it is, but I realized that washing so much was part of the problem and have since been washing only every 2 to 3 days. Well, my hair was happier, but my scalp would get itchy and a bit flaky/irritated after about 36 hours, even after 3 months and plenty of time to adjust. Within the first week of using Seanik that stopped! And when I switched over to the sample of Daddy-O that I got, it started up again.

That said, I can see where this product might be a bit too much to use on your hair daily, but with the right conditioner (I've been using Jungle or Veganese) it's awesome. I can't say I've noticed a huge difference in shine or volume, but it certainly hasn't made my hair any flatter. I also got a pretty major haircut (over 10") since I started using Seanik, and my short hair doesn't have any of the issues my long hair did, so I'm fully in love with this product!

I have curly, dry, frizzy hair that has been unmanageable since it first started to curl. I have ran the gamut from cheap, drugstore brands of curly hair shampoo to salon brands, with nothing ever doing much to add volume, control frizz or give my hair any sort of life. I went into Lush after using up a litre of top-shelf shampoo, with nothing positive to say about it (it only lasted about two months to boot). The wonderful sales associate introduced me to solid shampoo (which I had seen in the store before but never gave much though), and talked me into trying it.

What a revelation it turned out to be! I've had my bar for about two months and have hardly put a dent in it (which is incredible for thick, curly hair that reaches the bottom of my ribcage). It foams with hardly any provocation, I just run it across my scalp two or three times and I have enough lather to coat and clean all of my hair. When it dries, my hair is voluptuous, curly, and there is not a frizzy tress for miles.

The only thing I can necessarily say I dislike (and I am hard pressed to even call it a con) is that it really does need to be kept in a tin outside of the shower, otherwise it runs the risk of melting and adhering to the floor. Taking two minutes to store it properly is well more than worth the results you see.

I was so excited so try a solid shampoo bar, and automatically was attracted to Seanik because of the amazing beachy smell and seaweed in it. I'm in shock of how little you have to use and how well it lathers! My hair is so fresh and clean, but volumized and soft! This is a life changer and will be my go to shampoo from now on!

I've only used Seanik once so far, but I love it. I was impressed right off the bat when it slipped so easily through my hair. Other bars I've tried in the past would drag and wouldn't suds up. Seanik made a crazy amount of lather and my hair felt smooth and slippery once I rinsed it out. I'm impressed with the results so far too. The virgin part of my hair is super shiny and soft, and I didn't even use conditioner on it. My ends need some TLC, but that's to be expected from old dye damage. I think it will really be great paired with the right conditioner or treatment. I bought Jungle and R&B to try out with it but haven't tried them yet.

Oh another huge plus for me is how great my scalp feels. It's easily irritated, but no itchiness or anything with Seanik.

This shampoo smells amazing (kind of reminds me of grapes) and is very easy to use. unfortunately, it is too drying for me to use every time I wash my hair. However, it is great when I waited a day or two longer than I should have to shampoo and have some excess oil and product build-up, because it cuts through it all in one shot.

I like using this shampoo with the Jungle conditioner bar because the scents work well together and had volume to my thick, heavy hair.

My hair is thin, blond and oily. I found the Seanic bar to be fantastic for my hair. Kept it clean without drying it out. Increased volume too.

I used this on a 3 week vacation so that I wouldn't have to carry liquid in my bags. I also used the small circular travel tin. I would not recommend the tin. The shampoo got stuck inside and never dried out.

I have used this shampoo bar off and on since purchasing my first one 3 years ago. I tried using it every wash then but it was just way too drying for my curly, thick hair. BUT, I have discovered that it is not a lost cause!

I now use it about once a month to remove build-up from my normal shampoo/conditioner/product regimen and it works fabulously. My hair feels great after using it once, so I will keep using it for occasional deep cleaning.

Definitely did NOT "soften tangled locks"!!! First day, hair felt nice, but after 4 washes, my hair (long, straight & fine) was a dried out, tangled, rat's nest! Used for the 4th and final time last night and I can't even get a comb through some stops due to the tangles. I've had lots of breakage and my hair has a strange feel to it, like a cross between wax, paper and a brillo pad! Returning it today!

I have tried a lot of shampoos, Lush and non-Lush alike, and this is by far the best. I have very fine, thin, easily tangled hair. When I use this, I don't have any tangles, and my hair has more shine and volume. I love it paired with Veganese conditioner!

I was very concerned about using the bar soap but must say that I am a huge fan after using Seanik. I love the way it lathers. It makes my hair beautiful and shine all day long. I have gotten so many compliments since switching to this product. However I will say it is best used with a conditioner because it makes my hair a little tangled after I use it. I was also expecting for it to allow me to wash my hair every other day but I don't like how oily my hair seems to get. So I have been washing everyday. I would still recommend this product though. I love it and will be ordering again soon.

I'm usually not to picky with shampoos but this is the best thing I have seen/found so far. The solid lasts very long, I've had mine for 2 1/2 months and it's barely gotten smaller! The lather is amazing for a bar, I rubbed it twice and had way to much for my short hair. It cleans thoroughly and is very efficient, great for travel as well.

I love the smell of Lush products, but can still be skeptic of how well they work. I was taken aback at how well this shampoo bar lathers and cleans. My hair has always been frizzy and oily/combo hair, and after the first washing with Seanik, became soft and full of volume. I am in love with this product now! I don't think I'm going back to liquid shampoo :)

First off, this shampoo bar has a sweet, refreshing smell. It isn't quite an ocean smell that you'd expect from such a title; it actually smells a bit like bubble gum. The smell isn't overpowering, and I find it to be quite pleasant.

I have dreadlocks (naturally my hair is very straight), and I was pleased to notice that my dreads were neither too dry nor too oily after using it. They feel marginally tighter, and have basically the perfect dreads texture for me. I think I've found a winner shampoo bar!

It even has bits of seaweed in it, and I wish I could eat them!

This is the first solid shampoo I've used and I really like it. It did take me a little while to get the hang of using it - it lathers incredibly well - you barely have to use any of it at all. I usually just do a swipe or two at my scalp and one along the length of my hair and that is more than enough. It gets my hair INCREDIBLY CLEAN. I don't think I've ever had cleaner hair. I've only been washing my hair every other day - the shampoo leaves no residue and when I pair it with Veganese, there's just no need to wash every day.
I have LOTS of hair that is fine on top and coarse on the bottom. My hair is typically wavy but too heavy to curl. After two weeks of using this shampoo, my hair is super big, and getting curlier every day.
Seanik is NOT moisturizing in any way. If you have damaged or extra dry hair, you will definitely want a heavy duty moisturizer. I use Lush's henna to color my hair and that improves the softness and texture so much that I've been getting away with a heavy dose of veganese. I'd love to try it with a heavier Lush conditioner (but I love the lemony smell of Veganese so much!).
The fragrence of Seanik is not great as the solid, but leaves a very soft herbal scent when it washes out. Pleasant, but not overwhelming.
I'd buy it over and over if I wasn't so curious about all the other shampoos!
