While some soaps draw you to them with their appearance (Miranda) or reputation (HIWTK), Sexy Peel has already seduced your nasal cavity and hypnotized you with his bad-boy citrus punch in the face. Orange! Lemon! Grapefruit! Lime! This is like a California sorbet of a soap, clean and fruity scent. Absolutely divine. The peels are rather small, so exfoliation is not so rough in this affair, instead leaving your skin glowing clean. When around he will not irritate even those of you more sensitive, but always welcomes a new clean smile to your face.
However, after taking this bad boy of soaps home and get all cozy, you realize that he is a skintight fella-no really. If you have dry skin, prepare to rinse the astringency off and have him leave you with skin literally squeaking after taking all of you natural oil. And that lather! Surely if he could talk the talk he could walk the walk, not this weak stream of bubbles. Also, when he is away his scent will not linger for your fond memories of sunshine orchards. Having 86ed with you natural oil for the scent to stay in this makes sense. As time wear on he will become less reliant, melting easily at the last minute when you need him at the drop of a water molecule. In the end, the shelf life of your relationship with him will not last more than two years, in which he will turn into a true stinker.
The bottom line? If you got oily skin are the kind of Lushie who enjoys clarifying skin and long walks in the summer sun, have I got a match for you! If not, remember what your mother always told you, and beware the infamous bad boy!

I got a sample of Sexy Peel in my last order from Lush. Love the smell! It's such a pick-me-up scent, especially on those dull, tired mornings. I'm bummed my sample didn't last any longer, but this is definitely going on my "things to order next time" list! I also loved the orange peels, a little scrubby without being too painful. My skin smelled great and felt great after the shower. I definitely recommend this soap if you love citrusy, fruity scents.

I have always hated bar soaps- they get slimy in the shower, feel too hard, slip out of your hands, and worst of all, they leave icky residue on your skin. I thought it was a requirement of all bar soap- until I tried sexy peel. This bar is slightly soft on the inside, packed full of alluring, refreshing citrusy sexy zing and zeal, and it leaves you feeling miraculously clean! This bar packs impressive citrus scent, LUSHious lather, and super silky, smooth and soft skin. I loved it so much after my first use that I washed my face with it, and then used it to shave my legs with- not a single nick to be seen, even around my knees, where they always crop up- and my legs feel smoother than ever before! My pores are visibly smaller, face is fantastically fresher, and I'm only using an inch-long piece of my bar! This soap is to die for. After smelling it in the store, I was worried I wouldn't be able to wear my perfume after using it- and wrong I proved to be. The scent is completely sexy in the shower, but doesn't linger too much by the time you dry off, leaving your skin smooth and perfume-ready.
All in all, this soap was an amazing buy- I'll definitely be back for more.

God, this smells so freaking good. Love this scent. Wonderful orangey goodness! I would call this perfect if it was for the fact that Sexy Peel is a little too soft and melty for my taste. I prefer something scrubbier. I'm surprised that other reviews describe this as "abrasive" and "rough" because I didn't find that to be the case. Maybe my piece didn't have a lot of peel? Anyway, it's a favorite.

If you are having lathering problems, you need to "work it." I had that problem and I didn't think I was getting clean in the important parts. So I experimented. You can double clean certain areas. Just don't be afraid to lather it. And, if you love that smell and think you don't smell it everywhere anymore, take a knife and cut off the outer layer a bit. It totally comes alive. MMMM!

This came in a gift set I recently received for my birthday and I'm so glad it did because I probably never would have bought it for myself. I'm more of a double duty kind of girl, I like my products to do more than one thing and this seemed more like a luxury, yummy smelling soap than a hard worker to me. Boy was I wrong! The smell is fantastic, good enough to eat even (literally, my dog almost did!) but the texture of the citrus peels are exfoliating and the soap is silky smooth as it lathers. You can feel the clean it leaves behind, but it doesn't dry me out either. Another plus is the natural astringent properties in citrus which help to keep my oily skin from feeling gross an hour after showering and even helps to clear up body acne. The only down side is that it is a little soft and if it sits out in the open in your shower it might start to disintegrate a little. Can't beat it in my opinion though!!!

Oh my lanta! I really do like this product. I got a sample of it when I was on vacation, and I wished I used it before I left the state so I could have bought it.
I think that it is very energizing and smells fantastic, but I must admit, it dried out my skin a little. But I think the smell is very sexy and makes you feel like a brand new person after using it.
I would recommend using this product in the morning when you are sleepy, and just need a little something to wake you up.

The Sexy Peel is designed to be used as a body cleanser. The skin on the face is more sensitive and has smaller pores than the skin on the body, so we design cleansers specifically for this area. The Sexy Peel is a great body soap for normal to oily skin, with lots of fresh citrus to give it a fresh clean scent.
