Q:Will this container satisfy TSA requirements for "liquids" in a carry in?Asked on 6/13/2015 by Ice
A:It is a solid shampoo, and should pass no problem! I have travelled with them myself.Answered on 6/20/2015 by Sal
A:Yes! It's perfect! I don't think it would be a problem for TSA requirements at all!

A:Lush shampoo bars are solids, not liquids. If the bar has not been used,
and is in the tin, there shouldn't be any liquid. Recommend treating it
like regular cosmetics and place in a separate zip lock back or packing in
your luggage. In 2014 I stored mine in my carry on when I traveled from
the US to Ireland without issue.Answered on 6/14/2015 by Anonymous
Q:Is this tin dishwasher safe?Asked on 4/4/2015 by clarahoran9816 from denver, co
A:Well, I'd say no. While the material itself may hold up in the dishwasher,
the tin is very flexible and will most likely get bent out of shape really
quickly if put in the dishwasher often.
I usually just let mine soak in hot water while I'm in the shower than
rinse it out at the end. Sparkly and shiny, just like new.
Hope this helps my fellow Lushie!Answered on 4/6/2015 by Happy Healthy Human from Michigan
A:To ensure your tin keeps it's finish, I wouldn't recommend washing it in the dishwasher.Answered on 4/5/2015 by Myriam
A:Of course, but I would cage it! I wash all of my tin by hand due to their
lightness. Hope my answer is helpful.Answered on 4/4/2015 by Anonymous
Q:If I put the solid shampoo bar right away into the tin after I used it would the wet side stick to the bottom and would that be a bad thing to do? Or if I put my bar on a small towel on a counter and let that dry and then put it in the tin, would that be better? Would the wet part stick to the towel?Asked on 3/30/2015 by Harshi the newbie
A:It tends to work best if you dry the bar off before putting it into the tin, whether it be on a dry towel or a paper towel, or just letting it air dry.Answered on 4/3/2015 by Melissa S from LUSH Direct
A:The wet part will stick to either the tin or the towel, but it should stay
together in bar form for the most part. I always put it back in the tin
wet, but you do have to adopt a technique for breaking the bar away from
it- generally smacking the tin into your hand.Answered on 4/2/2015 by WVUJAK from Beckley
Q:Can I fit Shimmy Shimmy in here?Asked on 1/31/2015 by Mary

Q:can this be used for a soap bar and if so does it fit?Asked on 3/28/2014 by tay
A:I would recommend our body butter tin instead!Answered on 4/1/2014 by Kayla from LUSH DIRECT
A:No, not unless you've used most of the soap and only have a small amount left. The circular tin is less than 2.5 inches in diameter. Not very large. It's perfect for shampoo bars. The square tin is 2.75" x 2.7" and could work for soap, depending on how many ounces you buy. Also, you can always cut the soap to whichever size best fits your container. The soaps are soft and easy enough to cut with a steak knife. That is actually what I do. It helps conserve soap because the entire bar doesn't get wet and 'melt' when coming in contact with water. I usually cut my soap bars in half or thirds and save the extra pieces util I'm ready for them. Best of luck!

A:It will work for a small piece of soap. You just have to cut the soap to
fit the tin!Answered on 3/28/2014 by Anonymous
A:The shampoo bar tin is specifically designed to perfectly fit the shampoo bars which are circular. Lush soap bars are rectangular and would not fit in the shampoo bar tin.
