I bought this to use for my mom's wedding. We all loved it! Then, I brought in my friend to the store after she saw my products. Had never been to Lush before. Bought one of these to use for her wedding too! I may have created more Lushies!!!

Only "problem" is that, since it melts, it will get ALL OVER YOUR HANDS. You can either wash it off or use a napkin or piece of cling wrap when you rub it on.

Smells divine and gives a subtle, mature (meaning not like Tinker Bell spilled her pouch on you) shimmer.

I bought this product and ever since I have been a complete Lushie!When I walked into Lush for the first time, I immediately knew I was going to get a massage bar. I thought that lotion in a solid form was just the most unique thing I've ever seen. I was debating between getting Shimmy Shimmy and Strawberry Feels Forever, but I finally decided to go with Shimmy Shimmy (I ended up buying Strawberry Feels Forever later, but that's beside the point). The smell of it is mostly vanilla, with a hint of lavender. The flavor blend is difficult to describe; it's sweet enough to eat, but also slightly floral.
I have discovered that if you rub the bumpy side of Shimmy Shimmy on yourself, you will be very glittery but not very moisturized. That is probably best for mornings. If you rub the flat side of the bar onto yourself, you will be very moisturized and not very glittery. That is best for people who want a before bedtime treat of the yummy smell but don't think it's necessary to be glittery right before going to sleep.
Shimmy Shimmy lasts a long time. I have had mine for six months and there is still plenty of glitter left. It is also a great value (the least expensive massage bar). Shimmy Shimmy will leave you looking and smelling lovely.

I'm a fan of anything that makes me sparkly and this certainly fits the bill. It melts rather quickly so I use the Lush bag to hold it and rub it on my body so the glitter doesn't get all over my hands. With one swipe over any part the glitter is very apparent and your skin is moisturized. The only con is that the glitter does rub off on everything. So if its on your arms or legs be prepared that it will not only get on your clothes, but on everything you sit on as well.

My older sister got this for me as a gift one year! It was the best present I received that Christmas and also my first Lush product!!! It smells so lovely, and feels luxurious on the skin and left it feeling soft. I have very oily/sensitive skin, and this didn't cause any harm whatsoever. The shimmer it left on my body made me feel sexy and girlish as well! I also like that the product is shaped like a heart, so it fits easily in my smaller then average palms. The only bad thing I have to say about this product is the sparkles get everywhere!!

I loved this product! It moisturized, and make me sparkly and feeling relaxed! Perfect after a bath (with lush's bath products, of course) But I ended up having to return this product. The only con which is a big one, is the smell. It lasts long if you know how to make things last long, (A little goes a long way) But I would recommend this to anyone who likes the smell. It is a great product.

Really loved this. I'm in my late 20's and love glitter and I love massage bars by Lush. Add the two together and you get SHIMMY SHIMMY! :) Makes me feel girl and glittery without being over the top.

i bought this bc it was said to smell like american cream, my favorite scent, but i really don't think it smells like that at all? it smells soapy to me, i don't care for it, and it is SO GLITTERY! lol it literally looks like i poured a tube of glitter onto my skin!

I love glitter. My problem is that glitter doesn't stick to the skin. Enter Shimmy Shimmy! I was told at the Orlando store that this was unscented, and I thought it smelled very good for unscented.

I love how creamy it feels when it starts melt in your hands. I like that the glitter sticks to my skin so I can hug my man without dusting him is sparkly wonder.

I love the smell- it's very light, so you could wear perfume with it or not. I like to use it when I'm going out day or night, or whenever I feel like shimmering!

I went into Lush the other day looking for a shimmering massage bar. After speaking with one of the women on the floor she recommended "Shimmy Shimmy." At first I was skeptical because it was on the smaller side and didn't look like much, or like it would last long. But with most Lush products I decide to give them a try. As the woman is rubbing "Shimmy Shimmy" on my arm I look down and don't see much of a difference. When the woman saw my disappointment we walked outside of the store into the sunlight, I was GLOWING! It wasn't even a tacky shimmer, it was beautiful! She then told me that these were used in the Twilight movies to give the vampires their seductive glow, which is instant verification for authenticity.

This item has become a staple in my Lush bin.

I absolutely LOVE this product. The sales associate in the store found out about my love for glitter and immediately directed me to the Shimmy Shimmy bar. I'm SO glad she did! It smells beautiful and the glitter shimmer effect on your body is absolutely lovely! Yes, it can be a little overbearingly glittery if you don't know how to use it. But if you use it in moderation, it's incredibly sexy! I feel like a goddess when I use it. I must have this in my stash at all times!

I love this bar! I absolutely love anything that glitters or sparkles, and this sure does the trick. The glitter isn't overpowering, but still prominent, and the smell is just lovely. Sadly the glitter won't last all day if it's put in high-contact areas, but you'll get a few solid hours. Even more if it's in low-contact areas.

The Shimmy Shimmy bar is great for subtle shimmer on areas like legs, arms, and chest. The bar melts in your hands, and the creamy consistency helps the shimmer really soak into skin, which gives it great staying power. The effect is noticeable but not "glittery" or obnoxious. Very sophisticated and a great way to show off a summer tan!

I used this product on my legs after I shaved in place of regular lotion. It was very nice and pleasant smelling, but holy cow was there a TON of glitter all over me by the time I was done lotioning up. It was quite ridiculous. My hands were covered, as were my legs. I read the description, and thought "hint" of shimmer, and "subtle" glow was perfect for a lotion, but those are understatements. I will most likely not buy this lotion bar again, not even for a fancy night out to the club. Anybody want the rest of mine?

Give me "G" give me an "I" give me a "LITTER"! Then add excessive exclamatory punctuation!!! Goodness gracious, this is not for the faint of heart. Tinker Bells who dislike anything subtle as for shimmer, rejoice! While this will give you an illustrious aura in evening, you may look like a vampire who's name shall not be spoken in daylight.
Shimmy shimmy is a WONDERFUL product for going out and accessorizing your skin without stabbing it with jewelry and needling in a design, but just as eye-catching. The glitter is extremely fine, but catches light well to give you a very powerful rose-gold glow without the texture of Lustre, which I find a little prone to migration.
The smell is accurate as vanilla and ylang ylang, but I find the clary-sage to fade in time. Timeless and feminine aroma I will catch lingering throughout the night.
For those of you dolls (and hey, maybe even guys, glitter and I do not discriminate) that have dry or sensitive skin like yours truly, you may find that with time Shimmy Shimmy will dry and be a little more abrasive, leaving a sticky residue. To fight this as it usually takes me a while to go through an entire bar, I put on a moisturizer before hand (layer this with any banana scents, and it smells DIVINE.)
You can control your application of this as it is in a bar, but trust me that a little goes a Swedish mile, so you get great value for your money. Caution your storage, this glitter will take over like tribbles!

I love this little thing. It smells amazing, and leaves a beautiful shimmer on the skin. The smell lingers with you for hours and hours. It would be perfect to use right before going out. I would repurchase again and again. Especially now since I'm pregnant, my husband can rub my back day and night with this little thing!

A Lushie always stands out in a sea pink puppy butts. I lather up my chest and arms before a night on the town. It is a bit sticky, but the glisten and glitter make you shimmer like the galaxy. The vanilla is an aphrodisiac. And the lavender keeps the funk at bay.

I use this item after my shower and it smells great! I love the glitter in it too:) but the only bad thing is that it leaves a very sticky residue I hate that part:( but it is better on the legs than the arms overall it's a great product!
