Smooth, sensual jasmine powder
Silky Underwear was the first dusting powder that we ever created, and it has continued to capture the imagination (and more), of our customers. It remains the smoothest, most luxurious and best-selling powder we make. Grated cocoa butter melts onto the skin for a silky sensation, and the absorbent powders make sure your body doesn't feel greasy. In fact, it helps your clothes go on more easily or even better, slip off easier. With the sexy jasmine and vetivert scent that clouds you in aphrodisiac fragrance it’s been known to happen. Slip on some Silky Underwear and find out for yourself.
- Listen to your mother: As she always said, never leave the house without your Silky Underwear on.
- Slip on soft skin: Moisturizing cocoa butter is the creamy fat from the seeds of the Theobroma cacao tree.
- Keep it silky: We use kaolin to absorb excess moisture from the skin and give a smooth finish.

Q:Can this be used on hair to absorb excess oil, like dry shampoo?Asked on 11/18/2014 by Mari from Los Angeles, CA
A:It can! It may not work quite as well as our dry shampoo, No Drought, but it does help reduce the look of oiliness and delicately scents the hair.Answered on 11/19/2014 by Serena from LUSH Direct
Q:How sweat-proof is this stuff? I ask because the only time I personally experience thigh chafing (i heard this product was a good remedy for that) is when i work out. this is especially a bummer in the summer months, since it makes it super painful for me to wear athletic shorts.Asked on 10/22/2014 by Allegra from Boston, MA
A:It's a really great for soaking up excess moisture on the body, although if you do sweat a lot I would recommend re-applying every so often!Answered on 11/14/2014 by Anonymous
A:For the price, it is worth a try. I think the cocoa butter in it give it
staying power and as a fellow exercise enthusiast, using this product
daily, no problems with chaffing. Besides all that, the smell is nice. Its
Lush's one powder that doesn't contain glitter, which I have found can
irritate my sensitive skin. It's a winner and worth a try!Answered on 10/23/2014 by Anonymous
Q:I read a glowing review about how this stops chafing from one's thighs rubbing together, but does it stop chafing from clothing? Sometimes I wear pants of coarse material and if I'm not wearing shorts underneath, it can chafe. Will this help with that, or is it dependent on the texture of the cloth?Asked on 6/24/2014 by Ali
A:Our dusting powders work to absorb moisture from the body, which is key when you experience chafing from moisture. The powder also has a silk-like texture that feels really great against fabric, so you will likely find that it helps with chafing when you wear certain pants, too!Answered on 9/25/2014 by Melissa S from LUSH Direct
A:I would say that this is one of my favorite Lush products ever. I think the
cocoa butter blended in there soothes any irritation rubbing of clothing
may cause on your thighs. But personally, this powder is a great price to
try it and i bet you'll love it.Answered on 6/24/2014 by Anonymous
A:Ummm.. I put this stuff under my breasts and between my legs every morning..and get compliments every day!Answered on 6/24/2014 by Anonymous
Q:Is this product gluten free?Asked on 4/20/2014 by Leigh from CT
A:Silky Underwear is gluten free-however it is made in a facility where gluten is present so if there is a sever gluten allergy we could not guarantee that it hasn't been in contact at some point. We list all of our ingredients for all of our products so if you are worried about any ingredients be sure to check.Answered on 5/3/2014 by Anonymous
Q:Do i use this before I would apply lotion? After? Or does it take place of ?? Thanks.Asked on 1/3/2014 by Brittany from Wa
A:It is best to apply the dusting powder after you use lotion, as it will work to absorb excess moisture. While the powder is not drying, it is not to be used in place of a lotion, as it does not work into the skin to add moisture in the way a lotion does. Instead, it gives the skin a smooth, silky feel and helps to absorb moisture from areas you want to keep dry.Answered on 3/5/2014 by Melissa S from LUSH Direct
A:I bought my bottle from the store, and there are very small bits of cocoa butter, so I don't "dust" this on. I apply lotion after I shower, wait for it to dry, then apply this product by pouring some into my palms, rubbing them together, and smoothing over my skin.Answered on 3/2/2014 by Syd from Tempe, AZ
A:I love Silky Underwear! I always use it right after drying off from the
bath or shower. You could apply it before or after lotion,it is a
lovely smelling dusting powder and does not replace lotion. It is
non-drying to your skin but not a moisturizer, if that's what you are
looking for.Answered on 1/4/2014 by Anonymous
A:It takes the place of lotion.Answered on 1/3/2014 by Anonymous
A:I use one or the other, not both. If you want to use both, I would
definitely apply the lotion first, and then the powder after the lotion
is worked in and your skin is dry.Answered on 1/3/2014 by Anonymous
Q:Can this be mixed with the guv'ner for a more feminine scent and to lighten the dark tint? Does it work well?Asked on 9/16/2013 by Winnie
A:Yes, you can combine any of the powders you like for your own personalized blend!Answered on 9/20/2013 by Megan from LUSH Direct
Q:Can this powder be used as deodorant or to set the other "bar type" deodorants like T'eo and Aromaco for extra support against sweat and odor? Or is it not designed for the underarms?Asked on 9/13/2013 by Maye
A:With our Silky Underwear Dusting Powder, you may use this as a deodorant if you prefer. As you can use this on your whole body, it is perfectly okay to use for underarms. It does provide a little protection against sweat and odor without any added chemicals!Answered on 11/28/2013 by Anonymous
I definitely would say you can use silky underwear on top of your deodorant if you would like, it would provide a little protection against sweat and odor. Personally, I use coconut deodorant and set it with silky underwear-the scent combo is amazing! I wouldn't use it instead of a deodorant. That being said this is one of my favorite Lush products! After showering, I use it everywhere, the scent is amazing and you will glide into your sheets!Answered on 9/17/2013 by Anonymous
A:I have never tried is as deodorant but can tell you in my opinion, it does
not offer enough strength to serve as an under-arm deodorantt. It is
amazing as a "body" (legs, arms, etc) deodorant though!Answered on 9/13/2013 by Anonymous
Q:im confused about the usage of this product. is this meant to be dust over ur panties? or directly to ur private parts? or is this just for other parts of ur body? thank you.Asked on 6/8/2013 by lalaletti
A:Our dusting powers are for external use only, and are meant to help absorb excess moisture on the skin. They are especially great in the summertime when we all tend to get a bit sweatier! We do not recommend using it in sensitive areas of the body.Answered on 10/2/2013 by Melissa S from LUSH Direct
Q:Why did LUSH switch from the shake-able container to a plastic bottle? Application isn't as easy as it once was.Asked on 2/22/2013 by Andrea from Central, IL
A:We made the decision to switch to the bottles because we were receiving feedback that the canisters were difficult to open and that the powders were often leaky, especially when being shipped to our customers. By using a bottle, we found it was easier to control how much is used, and it allows you to either just squeeze a little onto a puff, or your hands to apply it to the skin.Answered on 9/23/2013 by Melissa S from LUSH Direct
Q:What is the best way to apply and use this product?Asked on 8/12/2012 by E. Jean
A:The powder is best applied to either dry, or freshly cleansed skin to absorb moisture, fragrance the skin, and make it soft to the touch. Some people choose to apply the powder directly to the skin, and spread it around with the hands, while others choose to apply it with a powder puff for a less messy application. Either way works wonderfully.Answered on 9/19/2012 by Melissa S from LUSH Direct
