I was in love the moment I got to try this lil' gem. Feels great and lasts forever... I love the smell but have no idea how to explain it... just good, clean,... smells like 'home' and 'comfort'... if that makes any sense! hA! I DO however, greatly GREATLY miss the ol' package. The can shaker... I still have an old one and just can't part with it. I do not care for the new bottles. Please bring back the old packaging LUSH! It was so cool, cute, retro and most importantly, much easier to use the product! I find I use too much with the bottle and definately is more wasteful. : (

First off, I love the smell of Jasmine, so this product had me from the start. I use (or WAS using) regular baby powder everyday on my, ahem, "lady bits", to keep dry and discourage sweat or anything from creating ingrown hairs (what can i say?). This product has everything I need in a powder. It is moisturizing, healing, AND keeps me dry and smelling fresh! i use it under my breasts also, in my armpits, behind my knees...it smells delish and REALLY helps to heal and moisturize. The price is right and a little goes a long way I will definitely buy this again! Thanks Lush!

This was the first dusting powder from Lush that I ever tried. I was a little hesitant to buy it at first since it was so expensive and I thought it was just a glorified version of baby powder. However, I think it's well worth the price. I bought my Silky Underwear (still in the can form) about 2 years ago and it's still going strong, even though I use a lot of each time. The scene is flirty but not in an obnoxious way. I can't really describe it so I recommend going in to smell it yourself. You won't be disappointed.

I love the smell of this and does sort of make my skin feel smoother. I was maily using this to help stay dry with some spots that I sweat a lot. Is that not what it was made for? It could do a better job in that arena. I experimented with the aromaco deodorant and had a pretty bad reaction and have tried using this as a deodorant subsitute. It smells good when you sweat, I can say that for sure. Doesn't help that much with the sweating though. It's a bit messy and hard to use with it being a powder. I'm not sure how to make it easier. Definitely gives you that fresh and clean feeling, especially if you use it right after a shower. I like using it before bed and actually sprinkling it on my bed to help me relax.

So when I first discovered Lush about ten years ago, this was my favorite product. However, just within the last year, the scent and formula has changed. The powder feels less luxurious on my skin and the smell is not as concentrated. In fact, the smell lays differently after about ten minutes of wear, less complex. I still rate it high because it is multi-purpose, but I miss the lux moisture it once offered with the chunks of cocoa-butter. Not to call out Lush or anything, but this seems to be a problem with a few of my other fave Lush items.

For starters, this is a great dusting powder, it moisturizes and adds a nice glow to the skin, and really does help you slide your clothes on or off, but the thing that really hooked me was the SMELL! This is absolutely by far the best smelling thing in the world, and I find myself constantly sprinkling it around the house so I can smell it everywhere!

I just used this for the first time and I love it! I used it on my arms after using Schnuggle body butter, and i was left with smooth silky skin that your hands glide over, and I can't stop smelling them! It's been an hour and the smell doesn't seem to have worn off, but it also isn't overpowering(I have to bring my arms up near my face to smell it).

I think I would buy a bigger container of this if offered, especially if that container were a pot or tin(like your cute massage and body butter tins) with a powder puff. I feel like I waste some of the product because of the bottle.

when first reading about this product i was a little unsure. i considered ordering it but just wasn't convinced that i would find a use for it. i went to a Lush store and sampled it and it was instant LOVE. i was reading reviews about how people use it everywhere and they weren't even lying. in shoes, on sheets, all over body [i apply it to my underarms after deodorant to help lock in the moisture without the dampness]
my boyfriend really enjoys it as well. not just on me either. the smell is great. not overpowering and too floral-girly. subtle and sexy.
the only thing that took getting used to was the container. the top is unusual considering it's a powder, but i found it easy to get used to. i hold it upside down with the spout facing my body and gingerly shake from side to side, not up and down. that seems to allow the powder to come out a little more controlled.
overall, stop being a doubter, try it out.

Confession: when my friendly Lush ladies encouraged me to take home a sample of Silky Underwear I accepted, but thought the product seemed kind of dumb. It didn't seem that useful. I could not have been more wrong. I used my sample and immediately went back to purchase Silky Underwear!

I love to keep it on hand for a mid-day freshening up. Anything in my life that needs freshening gets showered with this stuff! I dust it over my deoderant to keep my underarms from getting sticky. I shake it into the roots of my hair for volume and to buy time between shampoos. I put it in my shoes. I sprinkle it onto my bedsheets. I sprinkled a little in my car. In a jasmine scented mania I attempted to sprinkle a bit onto my dog (she didn't care for it.)

The one thing I don't use it for? I don't use it as an all-over body dusting powder. Even with the cocoa butter, my dry skin doesn't like having cornstarch on it. It's a powder, I don't expect it to be a thirst quencher. And I don't mind because it does such a fabulous job at everything else.

I still have my first tin of Silky Underwear. As part of my nightly routine in high school, it always made me feel sexy. I use a big, fluffy makeup brush to apply it so it wouldn't get overdone on my hands. I currently use it probably once or twice a week, and I'm only now, after three and a half years, getting ready to get a new tin. Erm... bottle? I guess now it's a bottle. The only thing I at all dislike about it is that it clumps a little. Not much, but enough that I have to use the handle of my brush like a pestle before applying, which is a little annoying.
It makes my skin feel so silky smooth, and in the summer, it's like a translucent powder for my legs - making them all sexy and matte and photo ready! It helps with the pants dance, too, making it easier to slide tight jeans over your butt.

I love this stuff. It smells wonderful and keeps my skin soft and dry. It also works great as a dry shampoo too. The smell is soft, subtle and sexy, but it does wear off pretty quickly. I find myself using it throughout the day because smelling it makes me feel happy. I just wish they had the scent in a lotion and perfume.

Between wool sweaters, zero humidity, and my boyfriend leaving the heat set on high almost 24/7, my skin gets insanely dry in the winter. I decided on a whim to try this stuff, so I picked up a bottle at my local store, and honestly, it has found a permanent home in my purse and my LUSH stash! It's amazingly soothing and a light sprinkle solves my potentially embarassing itches. But my favorite thing about it is this: I went in for a hand treatment with a friend, and afterward we were too slippery to open a few bottles. the saleslady gave us a drop of silky underwear and it absorbed the extra oils (or something)! I now use it after my massage bars, so i feel fresher longer.

my only complaint is that the click-top bottle isn't ideal for a powder - every time I open it, a puff of powder escapes.

I have been using this for years and I love it. As far back as 2005 I was always wishing they made this in a perfume.....well just a few days ago I stumbled across a French perfume house that makes an organic perfume called Vamp a NY. It smells EXACTLY like this and I like to layer the two together. Just a tip if you wanted to wear this as a perfume!

I kind of bought this on a whim just to try, I'd never used any dusting powders before and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. I don't usually like the smell of jasmine but this is not at all overpowering, just light and fresh. It leaves my skin feeling silky smooth and feeling moisturized but not greasy which is really nice for Florida weather. I'll most likely buy this again when I run out but I don't think I'll be running out anytime soon. Application can be a little tricky because of the bottle it comes in but that doesn't really bother me. Overall I'm happy with the product.

I got a teeny little sample pot of this when I visited a Lush in France. At first I was a little concerned because I couldn't open it right away (on the go) and I couldn't read the label, so I wasn't sure of what to expect. Then I got back to my hotel and Googled it and was beyond overjoyed! I'd been meaning to order some Silky Underwear and now I had some! It smells absolutely divine and it's hard to only use a bit at a time - I've taken to hoarding it! My only complaint is that the smell doesn't last very long - either that or I get used to it very quickly!

This is "just" a dusting powder...but WHAT a powder it IS! Apply like a body powder, then notice the sexy scent, then the smoothness and moisturization whereever it touches you! Love it!
