I used Enzymion in the summer but was looking for something a bit heavier for the colder months. I was given a sample of this by the lovely girls at my local Lush. It's definitely too heavy for me for during the day. It leaves my skin feeling a bit too greasy. But for a night cream, I love it. It's soothing and has a lovely nutty smell. It takes away redness overnight and makes my skin feel soft and rejuvinated.

I used this in combo with 9-5. Soaps tend to dry out my face and I overcompensate by spackling on moisturizer. I definately come from the school of " more is good" but its actually "less is more" when it comes to shangri la. first time I used it I just dabbed about 4-6 "dots" all around my face and rubbed it in after cleansing with 9-5. The next morning my skin felt amazing!! I usually wake up with dry patches all around my mouth and on my cheeks, but shangri la gave me the moisture I needed without having to pile it on and make my face a greaseball. I love the herby medicinal scent too!

I started out with Skin Drink and it was good, maybe better for winter. Then I got a sample of this. I put it on last night over my full of grace and when I woke up this morning I could not believe what I saw in the mirror my skin looked better than it has looked in YEARS. I am sold! Is it pricey? Yes. But you are paying for the best money can buy and let me tell you I have spent tons of money on product that don't even come close to comparing to this! Get it! You will not regret it! And if you are unsure, then go into the store get a sample but consider this your fair warning you will be hooked.

I use this every night and I am in love! I have super dry skin and this is the only product I have ever used that keeps my skin feeling hydrated. Seriously, I can put this on before bed and when I wake up, my face will feel just as soft and moisturized as it did when I first put it on. It also has a nice brightening effect and works well to even out my skin tone. I have quite a bit of sun damage that has resulted from swimming in my parents pool when I was younger without sunscreen and this cream has reduced it quite a bit. The results alone are enough to make me repurchase this, but the nice vanilla smell is a welcomed bonus!

Given that most people think I'm 21 - 23 years old, I'd like to maintain my running start on a youthful appearance (I'm 33). A LUSH associate suggested this to me as I was looking for a heavy night cream which would reduce fine lines.

After using this product for a few weeks, I can say that it does minimize the appearance of under-eye bagginess. Additionally, my skin was more hydrated than usual. Not too sure about line reduction, but several frown lines seemed to be smaller.

I also experienced a bit of a nasty sunburn recently, and this cream was outstanding in reducing burning and healing minor skin aggravations/peeling.

Unfortunately, unless you have a very light touch, this cream may be too heavy for summertime use. While it's not too greasy on its own, it can easily become sticky and almost tacky on the skin unless it's blended very well. And even then, when the thermometer hits above 90 degrees, I only use this around my eyes.

The smell is quite mild, a nutty medicinal scent that's faintly green. The vanilla component is very slight.

I absolutely LOVE this moisturizer for my sensitive, acneic skin! The one thing I hate about it? THE SMELL. Oh my goodness, it is dreadful. I usually like herbally smells but this is just bad! If it wasn't for the amazing things this moisturizer did for my skin, I would not be able to stand the smell. I like very thick, hydrating moisturizers to use at night. This is definitely one of my holy grail items for this purpose. It takes any other product I put on my skin and helps it penetrate deep into my skin. I absolutely love it, other than the smell. I know it is a bit pricey, but a little bit goes a long way and it will last you quite a while. Highly recommended

This is the best smelling and most effective moisturizer I've ever used. I was hesitant to buy it at first because of the price, but once I got home, I figured I only needed a little bit every time. A little really goes a long way because this cream is very rich. If you use too much, it will get greasy. I like to use this at night and I use a lighter moisturizer during the day. I can't stop touching my face after I apply this! Well done, Lush!

I have been using this product in combination with 9 to 5 and eau de roma religiously the past couple of months and it's like I have totally new skin. I had terrible dry patches on part of my face and then large pores and blackheads elsewhere-- a real nightmare. My skin was beginning to affect my self-esteem and then I splurged and bought all three of the above. I cannot thank you enough for the results. My skin is clear now, no scaly or itchiness, my pores are smaller and blackheads are greatly reduced. I must tell you I will be 55 in July and one of my younger male co-workers guessed my age at 42 today! He couldn't believe it. Talk about making my day! Thank you, LUSH, for turning my skin around when I thought there was absolutely no hope. No matter what the cost, these products are worth every penny to me.

This Is like desert for the face! This belly dancer loves this product and want it with me every where I go. But I travel a lot and take small containers since I dont want to take my year's supply of face cream every where I go.. I would love to have some one week mini pots of shangri-la to travel with. The texture is incredibly thick. For people that need a huge dose of hydration due to extremely dry skin, this would be perfct. However, my skin didn't absorb it well at all. In fact, it took forever for the small amount I applied to soak in, leaving my face looking oily and feeling sticky.

When shopping for cosmetics, I generally look for a great deal on a great brand, so when a friend recommended ShangriLa at [$] a container, I was more than a little hesitant. ...then I tried it. I have combination skin, leaning to the dry side. In the winter I get a really really dry flaky patch between my lips and nose (not snot related, thanks for the thought). Other moisturizers didn't do the trick. Shangrila is the ONLY thing that has worked. I use it at morning and at night. A tiny dab. Then I also started blending a bit of it with my foundation, making a tinted moisturizer. My skin condition has noticeably improved since I started doing that. This last tub has taken me a YEAR AND A HALF to get through, though I expect with the discovery of DIY tinted moisturizer, this next one will go faster. I guess what I'm saying is... it's worth every penny of the [$] to buy ONE thing that WORKS, rather than spending $20 each on six things that don't.

I am in love with Skin Shangri La. I hate that Lush markets this moisturizer for "Mature Skin" but I believe that anyone can easily use it. Try this moisturizer for two weeks and you'll see what I'm saying. MIRACLE.

This lovely moisturizer has become a staple in might nightly beauty routine. Everything from the wonderful smell to the results I had hoped for has made me love it so very much. I have combination skin and it's such a pain to find a night cream that will give me moisture but not leave me with a greasy face in the morning. I'm in my mid 20's so I was a little put off by trying a cream for "older skin." I was also worried that I'd be too heavy. But when the nice sales associate showed me how nice it was I fell in love! I say that this is for anyone who really wants to pamper their skin. I've been using it for about 2 weeks now and have already noticed a brighter complexion, no more flaking of dry skin, and a more even skin tone. A little goes a long way so it's definitely a great value :)

Although I'm only in my 20s, I have fairly dry skin, so I'm constantly looking for rich, potent facial moisturizers that aren't too greasy. I tried this in a free facial at a Lush store, after the Angels on Bare Skin cleanser, and the combination made my skin incredibly radiant and gorgeous; I didn't even want to put make-up on afterwards! It moisturizes very effectively, and is rich but not too thick or greasy. It also has this fantastic sweet, nutty smell, which makes it especially enjoyable. I usually only use this at night, since I tend to use an SPF moisturizer during the daytime, but I would consider trying this for day under a tinted moisturizer or foundation with SPF. The only major con for me about this product is that when you're on a student's budget, $50 for a moisturizer is really expensive. As much as I love it, thus far I've only been using it a couple times a week just so I can stretch it out longer before shelling out another $50.

as it is a thank you. I have had rosacea for the past 8 years. Nothing, NOTHING has worked to calm down my face and return my pale, pale skin back to its normal state. Nothing, until I started using Lush's facial products. This moisturizer in particular gave me back my identity. This past winter was especially harsh on my skin, so much so that I stopped wearing makeup. Everything I put on my face, makeup wise, would just crack and cake - flaking off, leaving me looking ridiculous. It was awful.

Finally, with an important wedding to attend a couple of weeks ago, I decided to give Lush a chance. I've become addicted to the bath bombs for help with both stress relief and calming down my IBS (which is a miracle in itself), and related issues, so I figured if anyone could help it would be Lush. Skin's Shangri-La, in addition to Aqua Marina Cleanser, Angels on Bare Skin, and the Celestial moisturizing in the morning - and oh yes, Eau Roma Water (and occasionally Grease Lightning) - have changed my life. Literally.

Lush breaks all my dermatologist's rules! But, my dermatologist never provided me with these results. In addition to having Rosacea, I have combination skin. I've tried most products out there designed to reduce or relieve redness, and Lush's products are the first to actually deliver. I am ready to drop everything and follow Lush to the ends of the earth. That's how impressed I am with all of the products I have tried.

It takes a little while for the moisturizer to sink in, but once it does my skin is calm and even. Instead of the redness overtaking my face, I can see my pale skin. Not only have I noticed the difference, but my friends and co-workers have commented on it as well. I still have a few patches here and there, and some blemishes that haven't gone away yet, but I have never seen my face this clear since my early 20s (I'm 31 now). It's a total turn around from what's normally staring back at me in the mirror. Instead of a red face, it's a calm, clear face. I've been using this Lush regimen twice a day for the past two weeks, and I am excited to see what my skin will be like in a few more weeks. Maybe I can finally leave the prescriptions behind for good!

P.S. My mom suffers from Rosacea as well. I'm sending her all of the above, so she can finally experience beautiful skin again too!

After being tied to a limited number of products I decided to try this after a sample was sent with an order. This is the most amazing moisturizer ever. I tried others made by lush, but the citrus ingredients were a huge no no. I have had no problems with this products. I leaves my face soft, moisturized and glowing with no ill side effects. I am hooked!

I love this product. I am very picky about what moisturizer I use because I tend to break out easily and a lot of moisturizer are not potent enough. This one does the job. Hydrates my thirsty skin instantly.
