I used to use other moisturizers on my face and thought they were okay until I started using Skin Drink and realized there was no comparison. It's soothing, goes on smooth without feeling greasy whatsoever. The tiniest bit goes a loooong way. the standard size pot of lotion lasts me 4-6 months, and that's using it every single day after my morning shower. I also mix it with my LUSH color supplement (light pink shade) to make a nice foundation/ concealer depending on the ratio)

I absolutely love Skin Drink! During the winter, I randomly got such dry skin only on the bottom of my cheeks, so I tried a bunch of different moisturizers and they did no good. My skin was chapped and flaking no matter what. However, skin drink helped with just 1-2 uses! I couldn't believe how moisturized my skin was. Now that my skin is back to normal, I still use skin drink in the morning before I put my makeup on and at night after I wash my face! Definitely worth the price!!

I get very dry skin, especially right under my eyes during the winter. I am also very active outdoors, hiking in the woods and the beach during the winter months.
This product is gentle enough to go right under my eyes and you only need a small amount. I use it twice a day.
The price is also very nice since my other reccomendation (Philosophy) was very expensive for a small amount of lotion and didn't seem to have samples.
I agree with another comment that it smells slightly of peanuts but I only notice this when I open the pot. I don't seem to smell it on my face.

During the winter my skin gets painfully dry so I figured Skin Drink would be right up my alley. When I apply it I immediately feel better, however it leaves my face with a noticably greasy shine for the rest of the day so I reccomend only applying it at night. Also, cocoa butter is an ingredient nefarious for clogging pores so with continued use I did start to break out a little. If you have trouble skin I would avoid this at all costs!! however, despite all it's problems this is a pretty effective moisturiser.

I use this after the scub or cleanser and the toner. It is an awesome moisturizer that smells AMAZING. the TINIEST bit goes a VERY long way. It goes on very light and feels that way too. I have extremely dry and sensitive skin and this moisturizer does wonders. BUY IT. you won't regret it. It's awesome

I live in Colorado and have combination skin, however the area's that do dry out flake and burn. The driest area's I have are my whole eye area, the area to the left and right of my eyes to my scalp line (just a one inch by one inch area), around my top lip, and also where side burns would be if I had any. This product is great for those area's but is to heavy for the reast of my face which is pretty oily. So, what I do now is put Imperialis all over my face and Skin Drink on my dry area's both morning and night and I have the softest skin. Also, I had an allergic reation to an eye shadow base and skin drink helped a lot with the burning and pealing from it.

I have very sensitive skin to the point that if I only wash my face with water because everything else breaks me out. I have tried to use lots of high end moisturizers only to find my face breaking out in little fine bumps later. Skin drink not only moisturizes my face but gives it this amazing glow. I was little skeptical at first but the SA in the Houston store gave me a sample to take home and when I ran out I went into a panic. I checked the mail everyday for my new order because there is not a store close to where I live. I can never go back to my drugstore moisturizer, so don't ever stop making this stuff.

I've always suffered from dry flaky skin and scaly patches on my face in the winter. Nothing I've used in the past really worked, until Skin Drink! This amazing cream is super moisturizing and leaves my skin feeling incredibly soft without feeling greasy. I only gave it 4 stars because of the color and scent. The brown color is a bit off-putting, and I find the scent a bit unpleasant. That being said, I'm willing to overlook those negatives because the benefit I receive from using this great product far outweighs them. May be too heavy for some and for those who live in warmer climates or during the summer months. I use Let the Good Times Roll cleanser and Eau Roma Water with this moisturizer which all work perfectly together for me.

Whatever you do, make sure you get a sample before you buy the actual moisturizer! I have dry to combonaiton skin, so I thought this would be perfect for me in the winter. I went in for a sample, and the amount lasted me for 4-5 weeks. The first week my face looked amazing, It was refreshed and glowing. The weeks following that week were just normal. The moisturizer just went on like any other cream, and made no special appearance on my face. Bottom Line: Keep your money. There are other better moisturizers for much less, especially for dry skin.

I had gotten this as a Christmas present and tried it later that day and its amazing! The product soaked right into my skin cleared my dry spots. It does have a odd smell at first but then soon goes away which is why I am not taking of a star. The product is a lot darker and muddy looking in real life but doesn't change your skin tone. Also i rec amend that people with oily skin do not use this. Over all a great product that I will be sure to use again.

You know a product works when you hate, hate, HATE the smell of it, but still use it twice a day. Skin Drink, to me, smells like peanut sauce or pad thai, both of which I love, but not really on my face. However, this product could smell like a dung heap and I'd still use the heck out of it. My routine is that I wash with Aqua Marina, spray Breath of Fresh Air toner all over my face, then immediately rub in Skin Drink before the toner is dry. This was a recommendation by a lovely SA at the Seattle store and it's absolutely genius--the toner helps the moisturizer really work into the deeper layers of your skin, so it gets on in there. I find it feels very heavy once it's first applied, and the first time I used it, I was worried. However, give it five to ten minutes to sink in and dry and it's PERFECT. Usually in the mornings I'll wash my face, use toner, use Skin Drink, then go make a cup of coffee. By the time I'm done and ready for my makeup, my skin is lovely and soft and gorgeous, and the makeup goes on so much more smoothly. I am absurdly happy with this product and find that a nickel-sized amount works perfectly. Could not live without this now that I've had it. So glad that the LUSH SAs I've spoken with are so helpful! Lots of great advice for healthy skin!

This moisterizer is nice! Well, for a moisterizer..

First off, it kind of smells like nuts, sunscreen, and lotion combined. Not the best smell, sure, but I'd say that product inside is CLEARLY what counts, as probably everyone says that aswell.

I'm going to start off about whats good and not go on TOO long.

Ok. Skin Drink is a VERY VERY moisterizing, heavy cream that should only be applied on very dry skin. I use it ONLY at night because it makes my face extremely greasy and shiny, so do not apply this in daylight. It does soak in after awhile and make your skin EXTREMELY soft probably because of the natural ingredients in it, I suppose.

I have terrible excema on my forehead right above my nose, and this does the trick ( for the night )

I suggest putting Miracle Hand Repair on your hands and face if you want something lighter that you can use to moisterize during the day.

OK DO NOT USE THIS ON VERY CRACKED SKIN/ EXPOSED RED SKIN.
This burns like no other. I used it on my elbows, terrible terrible burns.

I really really love this moisterizer and it does not smell that bad, contrary to what some say!

I have been needing a moisturizer for awhile now but I've always been to scared to buy anything in fear of wasting my money on something that wouldn't work. But I am SO glad I bought this! From the second I used it I loved it! No more dry, flaky skin and having to try to cover it up by reapplying lotion. I was very impressed on how little you can use to get results. I'm pretty sure I can use what's in the cover for about a week!

I originally bought this because my skin was super dry and flaky from my skin care routine (Proactiv). I stopped using Proactiv and my skin went back to a combo skin type and therefore didn't need to use this product anymore. The top note in it is definitely sesame oil and I do smell a hint of aloe vera but definitely not rose oil. It is just entirely too moisturizing I think for even dry skin, and I only took a small amount from under the lid and I still felt like it left my skin greasy. On the bright side I now use it on my elbows because I really didn't want to waste it.

I've previously used imperials so I wanted to try something else. Since it's winter this seemed great for when my skin starts to get a little dry. My skin is sensitive but it's pretty normal, not oily and usually not too dry. I can say that I hardly need a lot to put on my skin, literally like two dabs on my face and i'm good. I don't think it smells that great but I took that into consideration since the ingredients are natural. It's a little greasy as well, so I really try not to use too much. It may not be the best mositurizer for my skin because my skin is pretty normal but it has made it really soft and smooth.

I have horribly dry skin and I used to have to apply moisturizer multiple times a day. I buy the majority of my makeup at one store and when I asked about a moisturizer for me the ones recommended were $50 +!! This product is a miracle worker. 1. It works better than any other product I've tried and 2. It's not too expensive! If you have dry skin..this is for you. The only downfall is that it doesn't smell great...especially when you get towards the end..but a minute or two after application the smell goes away.

This product is a life saver, I actually have a dry/chapped skin and this is a problems to me. It was my first product from lush and I REALLY LOVE it despite the smell :/. Anyway, I use it at night and go to sleep, and when I wake up, TATA! My skin feel so soft and shiny.

I believe this product is worth the investment ONLY if the smell was modified. It got to the point where I couldn't wait for the product to be used up. Usually, I savor Lush products to the very end. I contacted Lush for any suggestions (i.e. could I add an essential oil to the mix for filtering out the odor) but received no response...boo, Lush.

I used to use this stuff back in the days when I would have classified my face as very dry. Truthfully, the smell is very off-putting (it sort of smells like potatoes!) but it still works wonders at soothing my chapped skin and giving it plenty of moisture. I wouldn't buy it again (my skin is no longer dry!), but I would absolutely recommend it to those with very dry skin. It is a life saver!!
