You know a product works when you hate, hate, HATE the smell of it, but still use it twice a day. Skin Drink, to me, smells like peanut sauce or pad thai, both of which I love, but not really on my face. However, this product could smell like a dung heap and I'd still use the heck out of it. My routine is that I wash with Aqua Marina, spray Breath of Fresh Air toner all over my face, then immediately rub in Skin Drink before the toner is dry. This was a recommendation by a lovely SA at the Seattle store and it's absolutely genius--the toner helps the moisturizer really work into the deeper layers of your skin, so it gets on in there. I find it feels very heavy once it's first applied, and the first time I used it, I was worried. However, give it five to ten minutes to sink in and dry and it's PERFECT. Usually in the mornings I'll wash my face, use toner, use Skin Drink, then go make a cup of coffee. By the time I'm done and ready for my makeup, my skin is lovely and soft and gorgeous, and the makeup goes on so much more smoothly. I am absurdly happy with this product and find that a nickel-sized amount works perfectly. Could not live without this now that I've had it. So glad that the LUSH SAs I've spoken with are so helpful! Lots of great advice for healthy skin!

This moisterizer is nice! Well, for a moisterizer..

First off, it kind of smells like nuts, sunscreen, and lotion combined. Not the best smell, sure, but I'd say that product inside is CLEARLY what counts, as probably everyone says that aswell.

I'm going to start off about whats good and not go on TOO long.

Ok. Skin Drink is a VERY VERY moisterizing, heavy cream that should only be applied on very dry skin. I use it ONLY at night because it makes my face extremely greasy and shiny, so do not apply this in daylight. It does soak in after awhile and make your skin EXTREMELY soft probably because of the natural ingredients in it, I suppose.

I have terrible excema on my forehead right above my nose, and this does the trick ( for the night )

I suggest putting Miracle Hand Repair on your hands and face if you want something lighter that you can use to moisterize during the day.

OK DO NOT USE THIS ON VERY CRACKED SKIN/ EXPOSED RED SKIN.
This burns like no other. I used it on my elbows, terrible terrible burns.

I really really love this moisterizer and it does not smell that bad, contrary to what some say!

I have been needing a moisturizer for awhile now but I've always been to scared to buy anything in fear of wasting my money on something that wouldn't work. But I am SO glad I bought this! From the second I used it I loved it! No more dry, flaky skin and having to try to cover it up by reapplying lotion. I was very impressed on how little you can use to get results. I'm pretty sure I can use what's in the cover for about a week!

I originally bought this because my skin was super dry and flaky from my skin care routine (Proactiv). I stopped using Proactiv and my skin went back to a combo skin type and therefore didn't need to use this product anymore. The top note in it is definitely sesame oil and I do smell a hint of aloe vera but definitely not rose oil. It is just entirely too moisturizing I think for even dry skin, and I only took a small amount from under the lid and I still felt like it left my skin greasy. On the bright side I now use it on my elbows because I really didn't want to waste it.

I've previously used imperials so I wanted to try something else. Since it's winter this seemed great for when my skin starts to get a little dry. My skin is sensitive but it's pretty normal, not oily and usually not too dry. I can say that I hardly need a lot to put on my skin, literally like two dabs on my face and i'm good. I don't think it smells that great but I took that into consideration since the ingredients are natural. It's a little greasy as well, so I really try not to use too much. It may not be the best mositurizer for my skin because my skin is pretty normal but it has made it really soft and smooth.

I have horribly dry skin and I used to have to apply moisturizer multiple times a day. I buy the majority of my makeup at one store and when I asked about a moisturizer for me the ones recommended were $50 +!! This product is a miracle worker. 1. It works better than any other product I've tried and 2. It's not too expensive! If you have dry skin..this is for you. The only downfall is that it doesn't smell great...especially when you get towards the end..but a minute or two after application the smell goes away.

This product is a life saver, I actually have a dry/chapped skin and this is a problems to me. It was my first product from lush and I REALLY LOVE it despite the smell :/. Anyway, I use it at night and go to sleep, and when I wake up, TATA! My skin feel so soft and shiny.

I believe this product is worth the investment ONLY if the smell was modified. It got to the point where I couldn't wait for the product to be used up. Usually, I savor Lush products to the very end. I contacted Lush for any suggestions (i.e. could I add an essential oil to the mix for filtering out the odor) but received no response...boo, Lush.

I used to use this stuff back in the days when I would have classified my face as very dry. Truthfully, the smell is very off-putting (it sort of smells like potatoes!) but it still works wonders at soothing my chapped skin and giving it plenty of moisture. I wouldn't buy it again (my skin is no longer dry!), but I would absolutely recommend it to those with very dry skin. It is a life saver!!

A wonderful product for hormonal 41year old skin.I started using this a month ago because the blood pressure medcine I take dries my skin out. I have tried all the make up lines for a clean, whole product but the skin drink is the best moisturerizer I have ever used. I use it in the morning and night. I knew it would give my skin a drink but I did not know it would lessen my dark spots from the sun, I was shocked. I love it

I have severely bipolar-combo skin. I get extremely oily in the T-zone, and extremely chapped on cheeks and around my mouth. But for some reason, using this product my whole face, not just dry zones, completely changed my skin type. No longer do I get oily or flakey. It might smell and look like something you would NOT want on your face, but believe me - it WORKS. It looks like faded chocolate pudding, but it smells like dirt, and I'm guessing that's the avocado. Very hydrating, and not greasy if you don't overdo it. Working on my 4th pot now. (:

I love this product! I've been using it exclusively for about a year and I've never felt that my skin was dry since I've been using it.
I don't feel that it's too heavy or greasy (although the product itself is oily, I don' feel i makes my skin oily) and I use it all year. I definitely reccomend it. It's a little bit more than I like to spend, but the tub lasts FOREVER and I can't live without it now.

I received a sample of this while vacationing in Vancouver and it lasted at least 2 weeks for a small amount. I had already placed an order for more well before I ran out. I have roseaca and have tried lots of products, (many of which were far more expensive) and nothing has cleared my skin like this. I am using it with Angels on Bare Skin and both are very gentle (my skin is very sensitive also) right now these are all I am using and my skin looks flawless, hasn't looked like that in a very long time. I hope to never be without this.

I bought this moisturizer to use with my coalface wash. I find I need to clean the oils out of my face, which the coalface sorts out! But then the skin drink moisturizer is fantastic as replenishing the moisture. I love that it absorbs easily and isn't greasy.

Went into the Lush store a few days ago looking for a deep cleansing face mask. Left with the incredible Mask of Magnaminty and this Skin Drink moisturizer. I didn't intend to purchase moisturizer on that visit, but I'm so glad that I did. Skin Drink is truly amazing... I'm 41 and my skin really loves the extra moisture. It's silky smooth and just a teensy bit covers my entire face and neck. It will probably take months of twice-daily use to make a dent in the container.

Between using this moisturizer in the am and pm over a couple of days, and the Mask of Magnaminty once, some of my larger pores next to my nose slammed shut! I don't know which of the products, or both of them, contributed to this miracle but I'm in love :-)

This moisturizer is amazing. I originally got Imperialis and it was too light and not so moisturizing for me. Then I got Celestial and it broke me out so badly in only 2 uses. Then, I got a small smaple of Skin Drink (which T had wanted to try 1st, stupid me) and it fixed the hell that Celestial had leashed upon me. I now know to stick with this, as it is the most awesome moisturizer I've ever used. I use the Aqua Marina Cleanser, Eau Roma Water Toner and the Skin Drink. My skin is so beautiful again now. Also, to me, the smell is beautiful. It's very earthy, nutty and natural smelling...it's actually very soothing and relaxing to me! Nothing gross about it at all, in my opinion =D

I recently bought this product and I absolutely love it. I use it at nighttime because it is pretty greasy and heavy, so it's better for me to just use it when I'm not out and about. My skin is noticeably more moisturized throughout the day when I use it, and it gives a nice dewey look after it's been fully absorbed.

The smell isn't that great, but if you're not going anywhere, no one's going to know but you! I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a good nighttime moisturizer.

Skin Drink is a wonderfully moisturizing product. I have extremely dry skin in combination with eczema on my face and Skin Drink soothes the irritation and itchiness. Skin Drink relieves the "tightness" of dry skin. On top of that, it works very well as a base moisturizer for make-up.
