I was so excited to try this body wash because the reviews were so good, but when I received this I didn't care too much for the smell. It smells like margarita salt, with a hint of lime. It smells... really salty to me. I don't HATE the smell, but I'm not a big fan. It lathers effectively, and cleans well, but I don't care for it. Another con is that it is fairly runny. It's worth a try in the small bottle, but I highly recommend getting the tiny bottle before going all out and getting the huge bottle. You either love it, or you hate it.

This product really lives up to it's promises. On the mornings when I'm laying in bed thinking about how much I don't want to get out of bed, I remind myself that I get to use Slammer in the shower and I get right up. The strong citrusy smell really does wake you up! I just put a small amount onto a loufa and it lathers wonderfully.

I love this shower gel! The smell is great and it wakes me up in the morning the only reason why I am giving this product 4 stores out of 5 is because the shower gel is very very runny. But I love slammer would love to be able to go to the store and buy this.

I love the smell of SLAMMER, it's probably my favorite shower gel that LUSH makes.. and I have 14 different LUSH shower gels in my shower. It's very fruity and vibrant! Definitely wakes me up in the morning! The only downside is that it's very thin so, it doesn't last as long as I'd like it to but, the scent alone is worth the 5 stars.

I usually shower in the morning, so I got really excited when this was recommended as a good morning wash because it wakes you up. Well, it did, the first few times I used it, but that was more because I was not used to having such a citrusy smell. Not that it is a bad citrus--it's actually really good! But I found myself using a whole lot to get my whole body done--major bummer. Another potential bummer is that the smell doesn't last, but that is okay for me because I often like to use dusting powders and solid perfumes and other things that might not agree with the citrus.

I love fresh, citrusy, smells...and this is amazing! Lime, but not sticky sweet. Fresh and delicious smelling. Sort of thin for a shower gel and, because of that, it leaks a bit from the bottle during travel.

The only thing that surprised me about this one is how thin it is. VERY watery, but works well. And smells amazing. My husband keeps finding me smelling it and now claims I'm "Huffing" my gel!LOL

But the smell is bright, citrusy without being TOO sweet and I couldn't love it more.

Put in it the "regular lineup" at the stores!

I read another recommendation for this product that mentioned its usefulness during travel. I completely agree. I love the travel size, the smell is refreshing and a small amount creates great coverage.

I ordered Back for Breakfast and loved it so much I knew I had to try some other Retro shower gels. Slammer has great reviews, and I can see why! Smells very fresh, like you are bathing in a giant margarita. Personally, I prefer Back for Breakfast because I looooove lemony scents, but Slammer is a close second! However, Slammer is much more runny than B4B... I wonder if that's always the case? My bottle is complete liquid, no gel, but it still squirts fine and lathers so I'm fine with the consistency.

This item is a must for two things. 1) When travelling on business and you need that quick wake up after long travelling the day before and 2) The morning after a heavy night. A great hangover reliever.

This shower gel is wonderful. It smells like fresh citrus juice. The scent lasts on your skin for a while too. It's perfect for showers and to make a bubble bath refreshing.

The gel could be a bit thicker, but it's nothing that takes away from the quality of the product.

I love citrus smells for waking me up, I'm not a morning person, I'm not even a strong smell person due to migraines(citrus usually won't give me one) wow what a eye opener this stuff is. don't even have to use it and it kicks the brain awake. lathers really well, but unfortunately the smell doesn't linger as long as I'd like. I leave the top off in the bathroom so there is a cheery smell wafting down the hall.

I purchased Slammer because I adore citrus scents, and lime-scented things in particular. I am so glad I bought this! If you like the scent of limes, or of margaritas, then you'll probably like this. It's a bit runny, and the smell doesn't linger on your skin after you get out of the shower (unfortunately...), but it produces a rich lather, lasts for a long time, and did I mention that it smells amazing!? I just can't get enough of it. I have to smell it every time I get in the shower, I love it that much.

I use the Slammer every day and it is a lovely thing. I did try it once in my hair and I found it didn't leave my hair feeling so great (it left it a bit dry). HOWEVER! That doesn't stop my eternal love for this product, the color is a wonderful redish-orange, it smells WONDERFUL and the lather is so bubble-icious! Just stand in the shower for an extra second and inhale the smell...you'll feel alive again. I guarentee it.

I fell in love with lush first because of the shampoo bars. I try to be green as much as possible and lush is sooooo eco-friendly. I was online searching retro and came upon this and just the description made my mouth water, so i knew I had to try it! This will not disappoint you if you love citrus scented lush products. I would buy this again, I can see why retro brought it back : )

Slammer went under my radar for a very long while. I've gone on a bit of a citrus spree, so I decided to try it. I SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN MORE!! It smells amazing!! Even my mom, who I've been trying to convert to Lush for years now loves it! I had to give her a sample and let my 7 year old use it too, and they both agree it smells YUMMY! I'm half a bottle down now and I'm only 3 showers in myself....guess I'm buying the big bottle this time!

Here is the thing... this shower gel smells AMAZING, but as soon as you leave the shower the smell is gone. I would love to smell like this all day long, but the scent doesn't stay on the skin at all. Lather is great, I love using it. It's just that it's expensive for a body wash and I want the scent to last.

This smells very good. A bit like a margarita. The color is a pretty orange/red and it lathers very well. The only things I didn't like is that it seemed to dry my skin a bit, and the scent does not linger on my skin, like I wish it would. Other than that, I really like it.
