This retro bath bomb was a dud for me. The online description of the scent says that it smells primarily like roses and oranges, with secondary notes of ylang-ylang and lavender. I am I big fan of rose, so I was very excited about this product. In the package it smelled very stongly of citrus, yet when I put it in the tub, it smelled more like lavender and ylang-ylang than anything else. I could barely detect the rose scent. Since I am not a fan of lavender, the smell was disapointing to me. Not bad smelling, but just kind of blah.

While most bath bombs turn the water pretty colors like teal or pink, "softy" made my bath an ugly brownish color. The rose petals did not redeem this product for me either. They were pale-pinkish brown when they first hit the water, but they almost immediately turned transperant and brown. Finally, "softy" did not make my skin feel soft and moisturized like "rose queen" does. This is a quality I really look for in bath bombs because of my dry, sensitive skin.

However, this product did have good staying power. It fizzed for much longer than the other bath bombs. If you like lavender, this bath bomb will probably appeal a bit more to you. Overall, I would not recommend "softy."

I LOVED Softy! I was not expecting all the petals and I thought it was a nice surprise. I smelled like roses for at least 24-48 hours after using it. And while it does leave petals in the tub I think it is totally worth it because of its amazing smell and how soft my skin was after.

My skin felt great after using Softy. I enjoyed the pink color and the flower petals it left floating in the water. I thought the scent was a bit too strong and lasted too long in the bathroom after I was finished bathing, but someone who really likes floral scents might enjoy that. I had to place a colander over the drain to keep the flowers out of it when I drained the tub.

Let me start off by saying this is only the 2nd Lush bath bomb I've used, and unlike my first (Twilight) which was amazing, this was far from perfect. I plopped it in the water, and it fizzed out way faster than anticipated. I thought the flower petals would make a nice touch, but they didn't resemble petals at all. They looked like little onion peels, and the whole bath turned a very unpleasant shade of brown. I have very sensitive skin, and unlike Twilight (which didn't irritate at all) this left me feeling itchy and seriously irritated. I couldn't stop scratching after getting out of the tub! I wanted to like this product so much, but it wasn't a very pleasant bath experience.

Like other reviewers said, does NOT smell floral or like roses at all. In fact, the closest thing I could think of is that it smells like patchouli. That's not what I wanted (as I hate patchouli). With that said, the mess in the tub is terrible, brown rose clumps all over.

The pros are the the smell is really long lasting if you like the smell of this one (I still smell it now and had used it last night). My skin does feel softer.

The idea of soaking in a bath with real rose petals is wonderful... however these petals would float around in the water just enough to tickle your back, arms or legs. Felt like bugs crawling on my skin. I was constantly moving around scratching and itching, which didn't make for a very relaxing bath.

I liked the smell of this bomb before I put it in the tub, but that's where my love ended. The scent didn't last long once in water that barely had a pink sheen and the flowers were a mess that didn't add to the experience at all.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this smell. It was so soft and comforting. I left the bath very moisturized. But I immediately had to drain and clean the tub because there were SO many rose petals. I usually love the solid additions in a bath bomb, but this time it was just too much. The petals were not that attractive after being freeze dried. I would certainly buy this again, but put it in a stocking then the bath.

i understand the real dried roses but..... the mess and their not pretty! I know freezing flowers will help retain their color but im sure lush knows that i guess i would rather have fake rose petals just for effect instead of the brown mess! Sorry, still smells great

For some reason my Softy Bath Bomb just smelled really spicy and not like roses at all. I usually like all of the products here, but I will definitely not be buying this one again.

This bath bomb smells amaaaazing!! I used this bath bamb before going out and as soon as I sat down my friend next to me was like "wow u smell great!" I could even smell it the next day. Mrs Whippy was my favorite but now "softy" is hands down my favorite. I only wish they sold these in stores, but its ok I will just order a bunch online!

this bath bomb is great! it smells so delicate and soft, and is a wonderful relaxer. All of the of the rose petals float easily down the drain, so no worries there. You do have to like flower petals in your bath though, because when i only used half of it, the whole top of my water was covered. I love this product, and think all lushies should have it in their stash.

At first when i smelled it it was way to strong but then i put in the bath and the smell was softer and more relaxing! it turned the water a light pink and roses were just so cool! it made me feel like i was bathing in someones tea!(which is like so awesome!) and I'm not sure if this is bad or good but it made me really lazy!

I held on to this product for a while because I don't take bubble baths too often. I received it as a free item when I had purchased other items from Lush (about a year ago) and just got to use it last night... I was throughly surprised to see the rose buds floating in the water and the scent was absolutly AMAZING!!! I had a VERY relaxing bath and had to get online today to order more!! Great Great Product!!!

Everything about this particular bath bomb was just the bees knees to me. The color, the fragrance, the softness of my skin, the little flower petals, even the fizziness just delighted me and all of my senses. I sat back, relaxed, and just went "ahhhhhhhhh." I always take a sieve when I take a LUSH-bath-bomb bath but found that I really didn't need it. Another plus! This bomb has a very feminine floral fragrance, which I personally just adore, and I can't believe how soft my skin was after I reluctantly got out of the tub.

I thought this smelled really nice. The smell wasn't overpowering...just soft and relaxing. For those that hate floaty things you might want to sock it. I didn't find the flower petals annoying, they were soft and didn't stick to me very much but I didn't think the color of them was very pretty. Most were kind of brown/tan.

This was pretty nice, but I think I prefer Absolute Delight for a rosy floral bomb. I'm a fan of ylang ylang, but for some reason all of Lush's products with ylang ylang smell a bit medicinal to me...
