I was really excited to try this out, as this was the first bath melt I had gotten from Lush! I tried the bath bombs before and was very pleased, so I figured this would be a similar experience. First off, the block seems rather small in its package, so I cut up the block into halves so I could get two uses out of it. One half was more than enough to be effective! The scent isn't what I expected; I was expecting something rich and almost a little nutty, but my nose was hit with a very distinct floral scent! Not that it was bad-- not at all. I liked it more than I thought I would, to be honest, it was just different from what I'd expected, initially. I dropped the bar into the bath water, and it, well, appropriately melted away. It made the water look cloudy by time it was all melted. The scent was really soothing and relaxing, and it even softened my skin noticeably after I was out of the bath, so the bath melt totally did its job, as far as I'm concerned. However, having never used one before, I didn't realize the effects that the oils could have on my hair! (It makes sense looking back on it now, though!) I got out of the bath, and my hair seemed to be taking a long time to dry. I finally realized that my hair felt heavy not because it was still damp... but because it was oily from being in the same water as the bath melt! I needed to take a shower and re-shampoo in order to get my hair back to normal, eek! So, just a piece of advice in case you hadn't considered it-- be careful not to get your hair in the water with all the melted oils! I definitely will be using the bath melt again, but I'll tie up my hair next time, for sure!

My bath water had to be really hot before this would melt, which I disliked, it was too hot to even get in. I didn't really care for the smell, thankfully it didn't linger at all like Karma which I could smell the next few days :) Also there is a pink and blue section inside and the blue piece when it hit my skin stained it blue. I literally have a blue spot on my leg from it. Now the one thing I love is that it is SUPER moisturizing. It definately combats MN winters and dryness. If I can't find anything as moisturizing as this I will continue to use it, but if I find something that smells better and is better moisturizing this one is gone, sorry!

Comments about LUSH Something Wicked This Way Comes:

I am madly IN LOVE with Lush's bath products. This is by FAR my favorite LUSH product of all time. It broke my heart when it was discontinued but I rejoiced to see it brought back for Halloween. I hope that it is brought back permanently sometime in the future. But in the meantime, I'm going to stock up in bulk when I see it available and hope for the best.

Comments about LUSH Something Wicked This Way Comes:

I hope not. Was it always seasonal? I think not. Wish I would've bought more than one, always next year. Nice reminds me of the jasmine scented bath bombs lush makes. I do not use this the way it was intended to be used. I cut off a small piece. I stand up in the tub. I run this along my damp skin (not soaking wet but not dry either), simiar to how I would with a bar of soap. I sit back down in the tub, bath water still smells nicely, relax a while. Moisturizes better this way (could be in my head). I get about 6-8 baths out of it the way I use it. My skin stays scented longer than if I just placed it into the tub. Great product for dry skin.

DISH WATER! ... while taking a bath i couldn't put my finger on the smell, but i knew i did not like it ... then i asked my boyfriend if he liked it and his response - "It smells like dish water" and it dawned on me that he was right! it does smell like dish water! I am very upset b/c i don't have a store near me so I am forced to buy online without smelling and i replaced my usual order of dreamtime with this for the season and boy am i upset ... i have 2/3 of it left i will prob. give away. it does do a very good job of softening skin though!

I was so excited to get this product as it is beautiful on the website! However, when it arrived, I was immediately put off by it's smell. Almost like a old, moldy floral smell. Hoping it would get better when I put it in the bath, I put a little chunk in, but to no avail. It seemed to get stronger and the smell lingered on my skin until I showered again. I really wanted to love this, but unfortunately I didn't :(

Love, love, love this stuff. I was staying some place that didn't have a bathtub but used a bit of it instead with massage bar for exotic, sophisticated scent. Thanks for bringing this back - I have kept the small zip lock bag into which I had scraped the remnants to use when I needed that extra wicked olfactory boost. Everyone loves this scent - brings smiles.

Not sure what people like about this product. This is my first adventure with a bath melt, and I am not eager to try another. It made the bath water cloudy, and it smelled weird. Not completely unpleasant, but not good in any way. I felt neither seductive nor sensual upon exiting my bath. I may stick to the bubble bars and bath bombs after this.

Very heavy, perfumy scent. Turned the bath a pleasant milky blue. The water was quite oily and I assumed it would moisturize my skin accordingly, but as I got out of the bath (and indeed still) I started itching. It's not quite so bad as to make me shower and rinse it off but we'll see in a little while. I only used half a bar, but I think that half bar was just too strong for me.

I have to say this that is my all-time favorite scent in ANY lush product. I have managed to get my hands on a few of these, and no matter what I mix it with or how small of a sliver I can manage to part with for any given bath, the effect of the aroma is amazing. This is THE best smell EVER. I need to buy these in bulk, as it really adds a special something to any bath, no matter what other bombs or bubbles are being used. I cannot live without this product. I wish they would make a limited edition perfume of this scent.

Comments about LUSH Something Wicked This Way Comes:

Based on other reveiws I bought 2 of these bars on line...I won't be doing that again. Pwew...I think this stuff smells awful, just goes to show how fragrance can be so personal. Once in the tub this product left a purple ring, I didn't care for that either. I love Lush products but am not sure what I will do with the other bar. I have a jacuzzi tub and it did get a nice milky foam going which was nice.
