I love Sonic Death Monkey. I bought it on a whim, without any knowledge of its scent firsthand. But the second I used it, I knew it was love. The coffee, lime and chocolate notes blend so interestingly to create somewhat of a zingy, peanutty brownie. It will put a smile on your face, guaranteed.

I am in love with Sonic Death Monkey shower gel. I love unique scents. And a coffee, chocolate and lime shower gel is deffinately unique. The scent wakes you up in the morning and is a pick me up when you're feeling down. And the yummy scent stays on your skin for a while after your shower. But it's not over powering. The only thing I dont like about this is that its runny. Why cant it be made thicker? But I will deffinately buy more. Please DONT ever stop making Sonic Death Monkey!

This is going to be my go-to shower gel for now & forever. When I got it in the mail, I was really excited to see the oils separated on top of the soap, just proving it to be super moisturizing!The smell is great and different, perfect for breaking from the floral comfort zone. Lathers great, moisturizes well, and awesome to use after exfoliation!

So I love this body wash. The smell is so different from anything I've ever used but in a wonderful way. It also really wakes me up in the morning and I find that the lather is very rich and moisturizing. The smell reminds me of an chocolate bar with orange filling mixed with coffee, love it

I was a bit nervous after ordering this soap to read reviews saying that this gel smells like "special" brownies. Lo and behold, upon getting my package and opening up the bottle, I was taken back to freshman year of university. Gosh, who knew chocolate and hemp oil would end up smelling like brownies? I noticed a lot of coffee residuals at the bottom of the bottle, though, and after turning the bottle over and giving it a good shake, the coffee scent became much more potent, and lathering with it in the shower feels like scrubbing yourself down with a hot mocha in the best way possible. I love using this gel first thing in the morning. All that coffee just puts an extra spring in your step. The gel is VERY watery, which is why I considered it hard to use. It also doesn't leave my skin feeling too soft or moisturized, but I've been using it with a chunk of Honey I Washed The Kids, and together, they are actually really pleasant. My boyfriend loves the combination, too. He says it makes me smell like a Heath bar.

Bought this for my sister's boyfriend for Christmas. It was really tough to give it away! The scent is stimulating and completely unique. It is a mix of earthy, sweeet, and citrus in perfect balance. I'm off to order my own bottle...or two....

This was an unexpected surprise.. I bought the smallest bottle just to try it out and at first, was a little turned off by the way the liquid looks in the bottle but, once I shook it up and used it in the shower... WOW! The scent is unlike anything I've ever smelled but, it's great! The coffee, the citrus, the lime.. it's all there and it's.... addictive! MUST TRY!

I originally bought this based on the description of scent. I couldn't of been more happy with it. I love coffee and chocolate and the scent is truly magnificent! I'm addicted, and i use it everyday. The only complaint would be that it is really runny, almost water like, but i use a loofah anyways so it doesn't bother me. I checked travel because the smaller bottle is perfect for travel. It's small, but lasted me at least a month. DEFINITELY recommend. This is become one of my must-haves.

I wasn't sure what to think when I ordered it... it sounded interesting enough to get, but I didn't know how the scents would work together. Now, it sits in my shower right next to the olive branch (my favorite shower gel ever!).

I am definitely not a morning person so I saw this and decided to give it a try. It's not the smell is exactly off-putting but I am definitely not in love with it. Still lathered good and cleaned my skin well but once I killed the bottle I definitely didn't buy it again. Definitely smell it before you buy.

I adore this smell, it's really energizing. It is a bit pricey, but a little goes such a long way. I bought the smallest size bottle last November and i still have about a fifth of the bottle left. I don't use it every day but its pretty darn close.

When I saw this product online, it really stood out to me (the name, the description of the scent -- chocolate, lime, and coffee?!!?) so I had to give it a try. I thought the small was a little overwhelming in the bottle (kind of like "special brownies" as another reviewer mentioned), but once I used it in the shower, I was instantly a fan!! In addition to the amazing long-lasting scent, I also love the color...almost like a shiny chocolate syrup. I washed my hair with it and it feels very clean and it didn't dry out my hair. There are only 2 things I dislike about this product: 1. It's pricey. 2. It's runny. I really wish it were thicker. Overall, FANTASTIC! :)

I use this guy here every other day in the shower and the smell is wonderful. I love the chocolate in this, it's somewhat light but very deep. There are other scents to it, a bit of hemp oil and lime so with those several dimensions you get a wonderful shower gel. I was just not a fan of how runny it was. Similar to the olive branch.

I purchased this product because i wanted to try all the lush retro products to see if i'd missed out on anything. Indeed I have.
Sonic Death Monkey is great... if you REALLY--I MEAN REALLY- enjoy the smell of coffee. Not your wimpy coffee already brewed & waiting for you on the counter at starbucks coffee--I mean the really basic coffee beans smell. Its VERY STRONG and with the touch of lime & chocolate, it makes the smell almost painful.
And the texture is not thick at all. its very runny and easily gets all over the place.
So, if you don't like coffee that much then its not for you. I don't care for it but my friend who is a coffee fanatic, took it off my hands and is down to the last drop.

I wasn't sure whether I would love this, but I figured it was worth trying for [$].When I first opened it, I was surprised that it smelled more chocolate-lime than chocolate-orange. I handed it over to my brother, who said "it's interesting". I agreed, but the scent stuck in my head and in no time I absolutely loved it.As far as the shower experience with Sonic Death Monkey, it's not drying at all! I used it in my hair with favorable results. The scent didn't linger for very long, so I keep cracking the bottle open to smell it. I can't wait to shower with it again.
