Solid soaps are great for on the go. I keep one in my gym bag and it makes me smell great after a sweaty bikram session. My scalp is on the dry / sensitive side however, and with regular use it begins to get irritated and over dry. My hair however is full of body and super soft. I'd only use this once or twice a week, or just rarely for travel. Easy to use, great smell, cleans well, but almost ''too'' well.

This product is pretty good. Nothing Life changing, but also not totally average. I have fully color processed hair, and so I need a shampoo that is gentle, yet effective. This doesn't strip out too much oil, so my hair is still slightly conditioned (however, i have ncredibly greasy hair) and so my bleached hair wasnt totally destroyed. However, I also have bad dandruff, and while it didn't cure it comletely, the tea tree oil and nettle deffinately helped a bit. My one bad thing to say is that it stopped lathering for me. However, i have noticed a lack of lather in almost all shampoos recently, but mostly this one. I get almost no lather at all with this, but it cleanses my hair well, so thats all that matters.

Just received this by mail this week and am in love with it already. I have really thick straight hair that is about shoulder length. In the past I've almost had to wash twice a day because my roots get so oily, but not with squeaky green! I can skip a day easily between washes now! I also have scalp issues (dry, flaky, itchy, etc...) and the herbs in this are really soothing while you scrub it in. I admit it is a little odd to rub a bar of soap on your hair and it does leave little bits of herbs behind in my thick hair no matter how well I rinse, but with the way my hair and scalp feel it's totally worth it. LOVE. LOVE. LOVE.

I've tried about 6 other solid shampoo bars from Lush and this is my favorite. I have long (waist length), thin, straight hair that gets oily by the end of the day. I used to wash every day and looking back, the shampoos I used never really left my hair completely clean. With this shampoo bar, my hair gets so clean but isn't overly dried out. I can go 3 days without washing with this shampoo and still have my hair look awesome with just a tiny bit of dry shampoo powder to cover up greasy areas. It smells really good and creates a nice, thick lather. Just rubbing it over my scalp 4 times creates enough of a lather for me to work it all the way through my hair and get it super clean all over.

I love this for a daily wash--I love the scent and the fact that I can just toss the tin into my bag and go. I don't have problems with it not lathering up; I just get my hair really wet first. Leaves my hair clean and non-oily, which is hard for someone with oily skin and thick hair. It can be a little drying, so every third day I wash with Trichonomania to add moisture back in.

When I smelled this in the store, I was immediately smitten. It smells like a big campfire, it smells like summertime. That, combined with the herbs in the bar, seemed like I'd love it.

I used it for a few weeks, but overall it left my (normally very oily) hair extremely dry, dull, and frizzy. It lathers well and smells amazing, but I won't be buying it again.

Got product today and only had one wash with it. Left hair kind of dull and flat. It was fun to use but I wasn't too crazy about the smell. Did clean and rinse well, as well as leaves you pretty fresh feeling, but lather was tough to work up. Overall, Lush has many better products to offer. This product is in the lower ranks. Will be exchanging to try Jumping Juniper.

My bar got stuck in the tin, so i started to just scrape off bits to use but that didn't work. So in the end I just pulled it out and turned it into a smaller bar. But it still works just as well! It cleans well, and I don't find many herbs in my hair, just one or two. My hair does get a tiny bit oily by the very end of the day, but it's not two bad. In all I really like this. It also has not citris oils in it, which is great because I have a sensitivity twards tose, and ALOT of lush products contain sweet orange oil or bargamont oil.

I bought this solid shampoo for my boyfriend. He has a big flake issue and was told by his barber that he is most likely allergic to the color and fragrance additives in most shampoo and conditioners. He likes trying alternative things because they tend to work better.

We love this shampoo. It lasts forever, is super easy to use, smells great, and leaves his hair super shiny and smooth.

After a month of every-other-day use, he's noticed his scalp is rather dry (he refuses to use conditioner). I ordered the soak and float for him. It's better for dry and irritated scalps. I'm hoping he will alternate the use between the different shampoos, but that's more work then he is willing to do.

When it comes to these shampoos you have to chance it. Err on the side of caution when it comes to the harsher solid shampoos. Don't be afraid to buy 2 or 3 and try them out. They are awesome!

First and foremost, this makes my hair smell SO GOOD. It's summer and, not going to lie, my hair gets pretty sweaty and oily especially after walking around a hot and humid city all day. i don't like washing my hair everyday, but i always ended up having to during the summer. After using squeaky green, however, i can go two (or three!) days without washing my hair! it cleanses my scalp super well so i alway start with a "clean slate" AND the smell lasts for a couple of days! best of all, it just smells CLEAN. not floral, fruity, or overly perfume-y in any way. with squeaky green, i can still wear whatever fragrance fits my mood for that day and i don't have to worry about my hair competing with the scent!

also to note, i have color treated hair (naturally black, parts of which were bleached and then dyed blue, purple, and pink.) and this shampoo doesn't strip even the unnatural and semi-permanent colors from my hair!

I love this product! Every now and then, my scalp gets very greasy and this combats it like nothing else! The only downfall is that it doesn't lather well and sometimes gets stuck in the shampoo tin, which gets frustrating when you're running late in the morning, but it's still well worth it!! I love that I can even use this without conditioner most of the time!

I have only been using this product for the past week, but I'm confident enough in it to write a review already! Honestly, I was ready after the first use.

I lathered the bar up in my hand and rubbed the bar directly on my head--both methods work just as well. The suds are silky smooth and thick. It doesn't miss an inch of my hair, roots or scalp. I have thick, oily hair that was made limp, lifeless and dry/static by over the counter shampoos. I had trouble reaching the roots on the bottom-back of my head, so I always felt like that went unwashed. Squeaky Green covers it all!

Also, I have straight, slightly wavy hair but was happy to see this bar bring out more of my natural waviness. I feel like frigging Blake Lively, lulz. I could definitely see this shampoo drying you out if you use it every day. I've been using it every other day so I'm not sure.

If you have thick or oily hair, definitey give this a shot!

Thanks to Lush, I'm obsessed with solid shampoos. I can't believe how many bottles I've gone through in my life! Anyway, Squeaky Green smells great and lathers really well. I have an oily scalp and wash my hair every day, so this is perfect for me. Someone with normal/dry hair may find that it's too harsh. It adds tons of shine.

This was my first solid shampoo to try and initially I loved it. The smell is great and it worked great on my hair. However, I am a frequent hair washer (every day with maybe 1-2 days a week where I don't wash my hair, MAYBE) and this wasn't good for me. This IS an awesome shampoo and earned the 5 stars but ONLY for those who wash their hair a few times a week (every other day or less). It is great, just not the best for me as a frequent hair washer as it dried my hair out very quickly.

I read a lot about lush products and I even used some. So I felt this shampoo bar would be useful for my flaky scalp as it contains tea tree oil. But it was'nt. It was harsh and when ever I wash my hair with this, I feel greasy. I've to apply 2-3 times to get rid of that feeling. After drying my hair, my straight hair turned wavy and became messy. It was very difficult to set my hair. I hated my hair at that time. The next day after washing my hair with this shampoo bar, my scalp became oily and my hair looked dull and lifeless. my hair used to be lively and straight previously. But after using this it became dull. The other shampoo bar "Irresistible bliss" was nice. I've tried that too and felt good about that.
I wish I could return this bar and get another one.

After loving I Love Juicy Shampoo, A lush employee suggested that I try this bar, since I loved the liquid clarifying shampoo. After using this a few times, I feel that it does not even compare to I Love Juicy. The day after washing my hair with this shampoo, it feels the same way after it would feel after 4 days of washing my hair with I Love Juicy. I would only use this shampoo if I wanted to wash my hair again in 2 days. There is no comparison on which shampoo works best for me.
