"This smells absolutely amazing! Its a bit crumbly but I wouldn't say that its a con in any way. It exfoliates and just feels great, like my own little pedicure of sorts. My feet felt incredibly moisturized afterwards and the smell lingered for a super long time."

Stepping Stone is great and all, it's just not made to be a "scrubby," as the description says. It crumbles as soon as you touch it, so you can't really exfoliate with this one :\ I'm on my third one now as we speak. Would love it more if the base didn't break so easily. I just crumble a bit into my foot basin, and soak away! Pairing this for the first time tonight with volcano foot mask!

This one's color differs wayyy different than the first two I purchased. This one was much darker, with an aqua tint to it. That doesn't affect the product, must have had extra of one ingredient in here to make it different.

This product smells amazing, and I was hoping the results would be amazing too. The bottoms of my feet get really dried out and rough, so I bought this thinking it would work similarly to a pumice stone. Pumice stones have been pretty effective in softening and buffing my rough soles.
Unfortunately, this product didn't do much. I suppose it exfoliated and scrubbed my feet, but for the tough skin on my feet, this was just too gentle. It didn't seem to make any real difference in the way my feet felt. Also, the bar crumbled every time I scrubbed with it. Pieces would just fall off everywhere and get washed down the drain.
It was unclear as to whether this is a one-time-use bar, or if it's intended to last for several showers. I tried to make it last for multiple uses, but it ran out so fast, and like I said: it just kind of crumbled up!
Stepping Stone smells WONDERFUL, and scented up my whole bathroom for a long time. But it just didn't do what I was looking for.

Comments about Stepping Stone foot scrub:

The only real downside to this product is it is messy to use and I end up wasting quite a bit. It is super cheap though so no big deal when it smells so good and leaves my feet feeling wonderful. I just wish they made the bar a little more sturdy.

Comments about Stepping Stone foot scrub:

This is one of the very few products from Lush that I would actually suggest against buying. The big disappointment is that it's to be used on the one part of our skin that takes the greatest pounding and requires some serious elbow grease to deal with it.

And this just does not cut it. It cannot be used vigorously and after being exposed to even small levels of humidity will began to disintegrate into a vivid green powder. Lovely to look at? Yes. Smells good? Yes. And as a powder, when massaged into feet and ankles do they feel softer? Yes.

But can you actually scrub with it? NOPE. So it won't do anything if your feet are feeling even a little rough.

Comments about Stepping Stone foot scrub:

The first time I used Stepping Stone, I did it wrong. I got in the shower, broke off a piece, tried to rub it all over my feet with wet hands, and it crumbled and washed away before anything could happen.

The next day, I tried again. I sat on the edge of the bathtub (with a towel, Stepping Stone, Volcano, and my Fair Trade Foot Lotion nearby) and lightly wet my feet, letting the excess water drip off. I used dry hands to break off a chunk of Stepping Stone, then rubbed it on my wet feet one at a time. I was able to cover my whole foot with that scrubby green goodness, then use my hands to massage all over. I rinsed it off, and the results were magic. I've never found an exfoliator that worked so well on my rough soles.

Try Stepping Stone with dry hands and damp feet, no running water until you're ready to rinse. You'll love it.

Comments about Stepping Stone foot scrub:

I bought this after having a foot treatment done at my local LUSH store and I fell in LOVE! The smell is amazing, just like Fruity Pebbles. It is very softening on the feet, however, it is not as rough on the feet as a traditional pumice stone and the use of it is a lot different.

DO NOT submerge this or you will be completely disappointed as it will crumble just like a bath bomb. Break it up into pieces and take a foot out of the water and rub it onto the skin until it's completely dissolved, then do the same with your other foot. It may seem like more of a pain to do it this way but it really isn't. This was exactly how the girl used it on me at the store and it works just fine. I also dump the little remaining crumbs and bits into the water and let my feet soak it in a little longer. Also works well on legs, hands and arms. I love it!

Give it a try at least once, don't pass it up because of negative reviews saying it doesn't work or it dissolves in water. It does, which is why if you use it the right way you will see that it actually does work and you will love it too.

After my initial soak with Geo Phyzz or Big Blue, I use this followed by volcano mask for 20 minutes. To finish up I use Lemony Flutter on my heels and any other rougher places and slather on the Fair Trade Foot Lotion and my feet look and feel great!

Comments about Stepping Stone foot scrub:

I fell in love with the smell and the price. I went into Lush looking for a descent foot cream and found these. I figured because of the price they wouldn't work that well, but that was far from the truth. I bought two to take with me on vacation to Vegas. I was so excited to try the first one, I brought the whole thing into the bath tub and it started dissolving immediately =\ (like the bath bombs). I fished it out of the water and was able to salvage half of it to use on both of my feet. Not only did it leave my feet smelling like a box of my favorite fruity cereal =D my feet were so smooth and supple afterwards, I didn't have to put any cream or lotion on them for the next couple days. I bought a spare, but I didn't even have to use it until I got home after my vacation. Now, whenever I use them I am careful to only break off little pieces (about a quarter size) for each foot and mix with a tiny bit of h20 for the best result. I no longer buy foot cream because these little guys work so well.

Comments about Stepping Stone foot scrub:

I have used stepping stone a couple times and I like it a lot. It works very well and the smell is awesome! It has a lemon and lime smell but not a synthetic kind it smells like real lemons and limes. This is very great, and at first I was thinking to myself I don't really have any problems with my feet, but the smell of stepping stone and all the good reviews made me say what the heck. Well even if you don't have bad feet after you use stepping stone your feet will thank you. Couple of things though... Don't use the whole stepping stone at once. All you gotta do is break off a small small piece of it. Then while you're taking a bath or whatever get your feet soaked and then get rid of the excess water, and then use the stepping stone on them. Whatever you do don't submerge the stepping stone in water. The only bad thing about stepping stone is that I really feel it should be bigger. Other than that stepping stone is great. I kind of wish lush would make a face wash, or a body wash in the stepping stones scent because it's very refreshing and would be a good got to wake up kind of scent.

This foot scrub is sooo awesome!
I was a bit hesitant but when I realized just how much I love my feet I figured I give it a try.
Feet can be so gross but I pride myself in keeping my footsies nice and fresh. I bought this scrub today and I used it once and I like it a lot.
First off, break it off onto pieces because it crumbles easily so you will end up dropping chunks and wasting product. I just break off however much I will use.
Secondly, it does crumble easily but that is beneficial because then it's easier to apply, at least for me. Don't have your feet too wet because it will not exfoliate as easy and will get watery. Dip your feet in and then wipe off some water then apply and it will be a bit thicker and more exfoliating!
Thirdly, it left my feet sooo moisturized! And tingly. It has a lemon, mint smell, i love it! My feet feel sooo soft and cared for.

They were perfect sizes. I use it in baths on my body and feet. It fizzes once it gets wet and then you rub it on your body.

Comments about Stepping Stone foot scrub:

I use this in the shower, but I think it would be a little extra indulgent to have your significant other to use it on your feet. Seriously. I'm not just saying that because it's almost Valentine's Day. When this little guy crumbles apart, it's got an amazing texture and feel in your hand and against the skin. It breaks easily so it can be rubbed all over with very little mess. Having said that, though, don't think that the Stepping Stone is a waste! Even though it does break easily, the sand stays in your palm until your rub it in.

I love almost everything about this product. My only complaint is just that when it gets wet, it falls apart, so if it falls out of your hand, then you'll be sweeping up delicious foot scrub from your bathroom grout.

The smell is just divine and I think the color is gorgeous. You're doing your feet a disservice if you don't pick this bad boy up!

Comments about Stepping Stone foot scrub:

This is my weekly foot scrub after 40 miles of running and walking with dogs -- mine own and those at the local shelter. It softens but does not remove callouses (runners need to keep some of that protective skin) and scrubs out the stink.
How I do it: In the shower, after cleaning everything else, I break off a chunk of Stepping Stone and sit in the tub. I slather SS all over both feet and prop them up on the edge of the tub while I shave my legs. Then stand, rinse, and voila! Ready for another 40 miles.
If callouses are particularly bothersome, I'll use a gentle pumice file after the Stepping Stone has softened things up.
Make no bones about it though: there will be crumbly green dust all over your shower stall, though it cleans up easily enough.

I stored it in a covered tub in the shower and when I went to use it the second time, the entire thing exploded in my hands. Died the cracks in between the tile bright green despite my attempts at immediately washing it away. I usually love LUSH but I am extremely bummed about the compromised quality of this product.

Comments about Stepping Stone foot scrub:

I picked up one of these from the Lush store and rode the bus home to find that the big toe had broken off. I figured it was a sign I should try it out that night, so I wet my feet and had at it.

Now I had bought the bar so that my athletics-hardened and winter-dried feet could be salvaged. However, other than scent (which wasn't bad to begin with), it barely made a dent. In fact some green got into the dry parts!

I did notice, however, that my hands and the top of my feet were insanely soft afterwards! So I am not unhappy with my purchase overall, I just think its a better hand scrub than a foot scrub, unless you get bi-monthly pedicures and your feet are already baby soft.

I agree with those who said break it up. The way it melted with only the water left from my feet makes me shudder to think how it would react in a shower. Keep it somewhere high and dry and you should get a good 6-7 uses out of it. Not bad for five bucks!

I love this product! I try to use it every night after a long day of wearing heels at the office. It makes my feet feel soft, rejuvenated, and happy. It takes away nasty foot smells after only using a small portion of the bar. I would recommend breaking off a small piece each time you use it. It crumbles really easy so storing it in a plastic baggie or LUSH tin would work best. I highly recommend this! A cheap price for such a great product!

I bought this foot scrub at the Lush store in the North shore mall. I bought it for my mother for Christmas. She is on her feet all day long working at a barn with horses. She always says how sore and rough her feet are. I thought that this would be the perfect product for her. She used it by putting her feet in a tub of water and put the scrub in and let it fizz and while it was fizzing she scrubbed it on her feet. She said it made her feet feel so soft and no longer sore! Thanks Lush for this amazing product! I will continue to buy this, for it is a great price and a great buy!

This product smells good, but crumbles too easily. It is like a body scrub, not really heavy duty enough for feet. This is the first time I have ever been disappointed in a LUSH product. It just didn't cut it.

If you're upset that this is "falling apart" on you, you're using it wrong. This item is meant to break apart and use small pieces at a time.

I soak my feet in very warm water and then pat them dry so they're still moist. I then break off a piece and scrub it in to my feet one at a time. I leave it on for a few minutes and use it like a mask. Then I rinse it off thoroughly and follow up with foot lotion.

I absolutely love this product! It smells phenomenal and it works MIRACLES! My feet feel like the petal of a flower afterward!

This item is NOT meant to be used like a pumice stone.
