Q:I have acne scars on my face. Am I able to use this product on my face to help eliminate the marks or is it too harsh? If it's not meant for the face, can you recommend anything that would help me?Asked on 6/19/2014 by Laura from Franklin, NJ
A:I would not recommend that this product be used on the face. For a facial scrub try our Ocean Salt.Answered on 9/12/2014 by Anonymous
A:This may be too harsh for you...it's pretty tough. Maybe try Ocean Salt :)

A:Please do not rub this on your face! I am feeling pain right now just
thinking about that! The Sugar Scrub is a great product; it does wonders
for smoothing out rough spots like elbows and feet, and I like to use it on
my legs before I shave. If you're looking for a good for the face, I
recommend Dark Angels or Ocean Salt.
Some people find the Ocean Salt a little harsh too, but if you use very hot
water with it, I find that helps.
I would also recommend Grease Lighning to help diminish the appearance of
acne scars. It doesn't work overnight, but I've been using it for about a
month, and I am noticing my scars are almost gone now.
I hope this helps!Answered on 6/19/2014 by Anonymous
Q:I love the smell of this product and I cut it into smaller chunks so it would last longer, but it seems very harsh on my skin. I literally have scratch marks running up and down my legs. I didn't apply a ton of pressure, but my reaction was OUCH! Am I using this correctly? Anyone else experience this?Asked on 8/30/2013 by SteelCityGirl from Austin,TX
A:We find that wetting the side of the bar before touching it to the skin will help to soften the sugar a little bit before application. Alternately, some customers choose to pinch off a small piece and form a paste with a little bit of water in the palm of the hand before applying it to the skin. Hopefully these tricks help!Answered on 10/28/2013 by Melissa S from LUSH Direct
Q:Are there any results in it helping with cellulite??Asked on 4/29/2013 by Hails
A:Sugar Scrub contains ginger and fennel, which is warming to the skin and helps with circulation. Stimulating the skin to encourage circulation is key to helping with cellulite!Answered on 9/20/2013 by Melissa S from LUSH Direct
A:I used this for the cellulite on the back of my thighs, and it FEELS better. Smoother, if you will, after one use so I intend to buy more and see if it truly makes a difference. :)Answered on 8/23/2013 by Sibsnerys from Los Angeles, CA
Q:I have sensitive skin is this a good product for me. i have used many other exfoliants and scrubs and i was wondering if this was safe.Asked on 2/17/2013 by Jessica
A:Sugar Scrub is a stronger exfoliant, so it really depends on how you've reacted to other scrubs in the past. Starting with something like the Rub Rub Rub scrub, which is a bit softer, might be another option!Answered on 8/14/2013 by Anonymous
A:Sugar scrub is really scrubby, so maybe it isn't the best for your skin. I recommend Aqua Mirabilis if you have oily skin, or Buffy if your skin is on the dry side. Both are very kind to sensitive skin.Answered on 5/4/2013 by Glitterella from The Great Northwest
Q:Does this get scars and dark spots of your body, and if so how fast?Asked on 2/16/2013 by redgymnast
A:Sugar Scrub will help exfoliate and remove any old or dead skin cells, leaving your skin with a lovely polished, smooth feeling! Over time, it could help minimize the appearance of scars or dark spots but unfortunately it won't be able to eliminate them all together.Answered on 8/14/2013 by Anonymous
Q:How do I make this product last LONGER? It's more of a waste to me. Thanks!Asked on 4/26/2012 by sabbyxxo from St. Petersburg, FL
A:I don't think it's really meant to last a terribly long time but I believe I can get a good 4-5 uses out of mine. It helps if you use your hands to rub in the parts that flake off as you rub it on. You can also try rubbing it on lightly then really do the exfoliating with your hands as well. If you really are frustrated with how crumbly it is, I recommend trying ocean salt as a great substitute!Answered on 7/26/2012 by MintBerryCrunch from Bremerton, WA
A:Some of our customers like to cut the bar in half, and only use one half for each shower. I like to be decadent and scrub with the entire bar, as I find it gives me enough to get all my dry, scaly spots- knees, heels, elbows, you name it! It's important to note that after the bar gets wet, it's not possible to save, as the sugar melts and becomes unpleasantly scrape-y. Best to only bring as much as you want to use into the shower with you.Answered on 5/3/2012 by Megan from LUSH
A:The way I have made it last for a long time is to keep it in a cool dry place and only break off a small piece before you enter the shower or the bath.Answered on 5/11/2012 by April B from Bland,VA
