I was excited to get this because it seemed really great. If it were cheaper, I'd probably be writing a better review, but the fact of the matter is you're pretty much paying for something you could make with some sugar and maybe some vitamin E or something. Is it tasty? Yes. I guess this is good, but it doesn't make much sense to lick it off. It's also kind of messy. The other thing is that it works well if you use it occasionally, but it doesn't always get everything off. If you use it too frequently, you end up either not getting much out of it or making your lips bleed in an attempt to make it work. If you've never used something like this, it might be worth trying once if you have some money to burn, but over all it just isn't worth it. It also requires you to use lip balm afterwards.

I bought this after my Bubblegum lip scrub ran out. It's a lovely product; works just as well as the bubblegum with a less flamboyant taste. If you thought the bubblegum flavor was too over the top, this one is a nice level of sweet that probably works for more people.

Also, it lasts forEVER. You don't need very much, and even with once daily use my first jar of it lasted months. As long as you don't scoop out more than you need because it's so yummy!

For anyone with chapped or peeling lips, this will fix you right up.

I was SO excited when I heard about this product, I rushed to order it right away. I am a licensed cosmetologist and esthetician (for the past 5 years) and still haven't found that perfect product to make my gross winter peeling lips go away, until now!! I wish I could have found this earlier, I can finally not be embarassed to wear bright lip colors because after one use my lips feel 110%! Can't wait to try some of the other products.

I have big lips so when they become chapped it is very noticeable. The first time I used it I didn't know what to expect but as a lover of all things chocolate I was immediately addicted to the taste. I rubbed a little all over my lips with my finger while I was standing over the sink (since bits of it would fall) and then rubbed my lips together. I'm not grossed out by licking the excess off but that's just me.

Afterwards my lips are bright red and incredibly smooth so I apply Lush's lip balm to make them feel even better.

Overall this product is perfect for chapped lips and a good product to use if you're going to apply lipstick and want your lips to look smooth without any flakes.

I'd never heard of lip scrubs before I walked into the new LUSH store near my school. I was greeted by a friendly and enthusiastic staff when one of the girls asked me if I had ever tried the lip scrub. We walked over to the counter where the lip scrub samples were, and she showed me how to use it (two employees did it with me, too!). I was a little thrown off when she said to lick it off my lips when I was done, but I guess that's what makes up for it being a little messier than I would have liked. Afterwords, my lips felt so soft and smooth. All in all, I would definitely recommend this product (along with a lip balm) to a friend. Enjoy!

I was walking through my mall and passed by Lush and thought about this product...so I went in, tried the chocolate flavor, and loved it! How did I not purchase this before? It smells amazing and is delicious to lick off you lips. Sure it's pricey, and you can DIY your own lip scrub, but it won't be as convenient or tasty as this. Afterwards it makes your lips real smooth and lip product goes on much better. I recommend using a balm after. Overall, great product, and in a few flavors to suit all tastes.

I use this product as part of my everyday makeup routine. I scrub my lips with this every morning, and then always apply a moisturizing balm. This preps my lips for and lip color I wear for the day and makes them smooth.

This product is fantastic. It tastes good, smells good, and leaves my lips super soft. My only issue with this is that it doesn't leave my lips soft for very long, and it isn't as moisturizing as it is exfoliating. This is a must-have for chapped lips, especially in the winter. In addition, it's only 5 calories, so no need to worry about the sugary-chocolatey goodness going straight to your thighs.

I saw this the very first time my friend took me to Lush, which was last year. I was broke at the time and couldn't buy it, but my friend ended up giving it to me for Christmas, and I've been in love with Lush products ever since! This scrub is absolutely delicious, smells amazing, and makes my lips smooth and silky. I always get questions about it when I ask, and always recommend it - as well as other Lush products.

I love this product. I have very chapped lips, and I scrub it immensely on my lips, and it leaves it nice, clean, and smooth. It taste and smells lovely, but it just seems inconvenient to lick off. The effects don't last long, but this is a nice product I would recommend.

I do like this product a lot, however one of its main selling points is that you can eat it.. Why would you want to "lick of the remaining when your done", you'll just be eating the dead skins cells you just rubbed off. I don't want to eat my own dead skin cells, so I think ill just stick to wiping it off.

This was exactly what I was looking for! I get horribly chapped lips in the colder weather and this product smoothed them right out. I love the sweet chocolate vanilla smell and it tastes so yummy I am tempted to eat it all up! The price is reasonable and the little jar will last a while because you don't need to use very much. If you get super dry lips, you should definitely use this to scrub them soft. Just remember to use a balm after (like Chocolate Whipstick).

I just discovered lip scrubs 24 hours ago. MY LIFE HAS BEEN CHANGED. My lips tend to get chapped, and if they aren't chapped they tend to be lined. After I got asked to my FIRST REAL DATE I started to freak out about well everything. That is when my amazing best friend pulled out some of this stuff last night. My lips fill amazing, and maybe it's just my new found confidence but I swear they are fuller. I went today to buy the stuff, and I have to say that I'm kinda obsessed. So yah, BUY THIS!

This is my absolute favorite thing! It makes my lips feel great, and I love the taste. I use it in the shower, which takes care of the "mess" factor. Just remember not to store it in the shower or get it wet! Afterwards I use regular lip balm, and my lips look and feel wonderful! MUST TRY!

I have had this sitting in my LUSH storage for about a month, and my Mint Julips from about a year ago finally expired with still some product left, so I threw it out and broke into my Sweet Lips today. It tastes so much better than Mint Julips. It doesn't taste like a "Hershey Bar" chocolate as much as hot cocoa. I am in love. As if it didn't taste great enough, it will slosh off all of the dead, chapped skin on your lips and moisturize with the Jojoba Oil in it. I just lick my lips and rub a little bit on there, rub my lips together and wait a minute for the jojoba oil to sink in and then, I lick it off. It works the same as the Mint Julips did, and I assume the same as Bubblegum lip scrub, so the only reason to buy a different flavor is for the taste. They don't do anything different. A must have in the chocolate lover's lush collection. Please make a Christmas bath bomb, bubble bar, bath melt and soap in this scent so I can have a hot cocoa bath?

I had gotten the bubblegum lipscrub in December for my birthday, and thought the only other kind was the mint julips. When I found out they had a chocolate one, I had already given up on lipscrubs. But when I finally bought it, I was glad I did. It's almost smoother than the bubblegum one, but still exfoliates GREAT! It smells like candy during Christmas, with less of a hershey bar scent and more of a hot cocoa kind of chocolate. I don't see why someone said it doesn't work good as a stand alone product. It's not meant to stand alone, you're supposed to lick it off once you're done...

I love this product for exfoliating whenever! My lips are always a bit dry and flaky, so I use a little of this scrub before applying lip balm. I wouldn't use it in place of lip balm, it doesn't do much for moisturizing at all. In fact, it kind of dries my lips out - which lip balm of course, can easily fix. Overall, this product is a daily staple for me and I like to always have it in my bag!
