I bought this after lusting after it forever, just waiting for my -insert popular brand name deodorant named after a bird here- to deplete itself. I loved the smell and the fact that it's aluminum-free.

The girls that worked at the Lush counter were VERY helpful, and I don't think I would have liked T'eo as much if they didn't offer a couple tips. They told me not to put it on until your pits are dry. Also, they gave me a little plastic tub and lid so that I can carry it with me and store it without crushing it.

I've only had it for a few days, but I haven't had any issues with it being messy or falling apart. Also, I haven't had any irritation - after reading many other reviews, maybe those that did experience some burning, redness, etc., were allergic or had sensitive skin? Maybe I'm just lucky.

I'm very smelly, and though this hasn't really served well as an antiperspirant, which I don't necessarily mind, I think the smell's great and that's all I care about. I usually reapply it after about 4 or 5 hours, but I'm very active.

I also hadn't experienced the white residue others mentioned... I don't go crazy with it when I'm applying it though - just a couple swipes on my pits - so maybe that's why. Once I noticed some on the collar of a shirt that was probably from my fingers, but it dusted off easily.

Although I have to reapply it every now and again, I don't mind too much, and overall I consider it worth the money.

I am so disappointed in this product. I'm a Lush junkie, and extremely upset after buying this. The reviews were decent, so I took a chance.

I can't put it on without excruciating, burning pain in my underarms.

Once the smell starts to mix with sweat, it goes sour almost immediately. It's an awful, pungent aroma. I work outdoors in California during the summer, and if it can't make it when I'm indoors sitting at my computer, it definitely won't last when I'm in 100 degree heat.

Hopefully they let me exchange this for something else, because I can't see myself using this for anything.

Comments about LUSH T'eo:

Natural deodorants have always appealed to me, so upon visiting my local LUSH, I found this wonderful product and decided it was time to retire my old stick deodorant. The most appealing part of this product personally was the scent (tea tree oil, ahh!). it smells bright and earthy and contrary to some of the more negative reviews i've read, the scent mixed with a little b.o. is actually pretty sexy in a light, natural way. what's also nice is the product has a wax bottom, which makes it a lot less messy to hold and use (it's sorta hard to avoid getting a little of this stuff on your hands, but it's nothing too bad and is probably the only con to this product).

Comments about LUSH T'eo:

I love this product! It smells great and does a great job controlling body odor. I've only noticed it irritating my skin if I put it on immediately after I shower, but if I wait a little bit it's fine. The only thing I don't like about it is that the blue waxy stuff crumbles and falls apart very quickly and easily. Also, get a massage bar tin to keep it in.

Comments about LUSH T'eo:

I've had issues with smelly pits for a while. After getting off a six month round of antibiotics, my natural bacteria was wrecked. Despite hardly ever sweating, my armpits smelled, even immediately after showering.

My skin is really, really prone to irritation. Some discontinued Lush deodorant has burned severly before, and a whole other company's brand once made my pit skin peel off. One day I lost my clinical strength stuff and felt like seeing what Lush had on a whim. I got some T'eo.

I brushed it on and it smelled lovely. It covered all the smell and lasted all day. The perfumy smell doesn't last, but by bedtime, my armpits just smell like plain skin. I've never had that happen before!

It's a bit messy, hence the four stars. A bit less messy than using dusting powder. The wax bottom is nice, but it chips away rather easily. I would deffintely suggest buying a tin for the bar. I use a Lush body butter tin. Otherwise, I'm very satisfied, and it's the same price and size as a grocery store clinical strength deodorant, so that's awesome too.

Comments about LUSH T'eo:

When I first opened this up a fair amount had already crumbled off, no big deal, the result of being shipped. However, when I was putting it on (as per the instructions mind you) large chunks broke off, leaving me with a mess on my pants, bed, and floor.
I think this is one of those products that would benefit from some sort of packaging to keep it more compressed and less likely to crumble apart.

I do love the scent though.

I want to stop using deodorant/antiperspirant with aluminum so I have started trying the Lush products. The T'eo smells wonderful and so far I don't stink by the end of the day. It isn't an antiperspirant though but that hasn't been a problem. I also have Greench which has a more herbaly scent and it seems to work fine too.

Smells GREAT. Fresh, clean smelling. Burned my freshly shaved armpits as if I had put rubbing alcohol on them. Also, the bar disintegrated in my hands during an application.

Product best for people who do not shave their armpits.

I don't sweat very easily at all, I can be out hiking in 95 degree weather and barely break a sweat so I may not be the best person to be reviewing this, but I'm NEVER going back to regular deodorant again.

I've been using this for about a month and a half and I've noticed that I don't get underarm pimples or razor burn anymore, my boyfriend's serious underarm pimples have been improving as well.

Of the two times I've switched back to regular deodorant, I've ended up with huge rashes under each arm, so I guess I'm going to be sticking with this!

I would use this for my underarms twice a day .I live in Arizona where it is mostly dry and hot 90 degrees most of the time. I'm a tomboy and only do average activity . I like the scent of this product but I have to be very careful when applying it . I lean over the sink and apply befor putting on clothes . and wait until I'm dry and dont rub to harshly against the shaved underarms . it tends to crumble a bit along the sides .I've had mine since August and it seems to work great. I do have to reapply middle of the day but I noticed I don't stink . helpful hint-dont shave to harshly then apply to razer burnt underarms . thats when it stings

    Comments about LUSH T'eo:

This product works GREAT with hairy pits. It really is amazing. I loved the smell also. It is a bit messy, so I'd recommend buying a tin or even a little box to place it in because it gets fragile and crumbles after about a month. (which isn't bad, just messy) I started shaving my pits about a month after I began using T'eo and I noticed it caused a lot of irritation to my skin. I do have pretty sensitive skin, but it was getting to the point where it started to hurt so i switched to regular deodorant once it ran out. It doesn't stop sweating, but it keeps you from stinking which is great in the summer. When I had hairy pits I didn't notice any sweat, but once I shaved I did notice some. Overall, I really liked T'eo and would recommend it to anyone with hair under there :)

    Comments about LUSH T'eo:

Loved the way this smelled and I usually use a dry powder anyway, so thought this would be a perfect fit.

When I tried to use the deodorant the first time, it fell apart in my hands and went all over the bathroom floor. 80% of the bar was wasted, leaving me with enough to last maybe a day or two.

My bathroom floor smells great, but that wasn't the goal here. Love LUSH products generally, so I am really disappointed. It needs to come in a better container -- maybe a tin -- or they need to reformulate the product such that it sticks better.

    Comments about LUSH T'eo:

After about a month or so of using T'eo, I am still sort of up in the air whether I really like it. I did experience some irritation--for a few days it was really bad and sore. But only under one underarm so I'm not sure if it was an allergic reaction or something else.
Tips: If I'm feeling a little sensitive, I don't rub it directly under my arm, but on my hand and then rub my hand under my arm (similar to the powders).
I do love the smell when I first put it on, and although it doesn't make it through the whole day, I don't usually reapply and don't smell unless I'm really working hard. And since it's the end of summer, I think I'll be fine through the winter until I finish it. The powdery texture took a little while getting used to, but doesn't realy bother me.
I'm not sure if I'll purchase it again but would be interested in a cream version of it. I will probably try another Lush deodorant next time around.

    Comments about LUSH T'eo:

The title says it all. I have been trying to find a natural deodorant that I really like, and I've had a terrible time. Most of them are sticky and ineffective. Tom's gives me a pretty intense rash and peeling skin (I think it's from the constant wetness - I am pretty prone to heat rash).
I smelled T'eo when I stopped into my new Lush for the first time and loved it! I think it smells like tea tree oil and lemongrass. I didn't buy it right away but the scent lingered in my mind and I bought it the next time I stopped in.
First off, let me tell you it is HARD TO USE. The sales associate told me to just rub my fingers on it and to pat it into my pits. Which I tried to do, but I couldn't get enough product. When I tried to apply directly, the waxy part on the bottom (which is very thin and flimsy) started breaking up and peeling away. The powder got everywhere. After several days of scraping the product off the bar, I gave up and smashed the bar up into a square lush tin and now I can scoop little bits up and rub them in. Much easier, but not ideal. The powder still feels sticky and clumps together. I wish they made this in a powder!!!!
That being said, once applied it works like a powder, I love wearing it when it's super humid - it is very soothing and cooling. The scent does change a little when you sweat but as long as you apply enough, you won't stink for AT LEAST 12 hours. Sometimes I reapply before going out, but I'd do that with any deodorant. Also, if you apply it before you put your clothes on I've found it doesn't leave any residue!
-1 star for packaging, excellent overall!

I always used secret clinical strength but now I decided to switch to something more natural that is aluminum free since aluminum is dangerous and unhealthy. I started using T'eo and had a minor burning sensation that since subsided after the first few uses. Didn't think I would find a product that could handle all my ripe funk but T'eo has proven so!

    Comments about LUSH T'eo:

I have mixed feelings on T'eo. It was my first attempt at a LUSH deodorent and while I don't think I will be repurchasing T'eo, I will try other LUSH deodorants.

It went on clear, lasted and protected me from both odor and wetness all day, and had a very light citrus scent, which I liked. It was a little messy, but once I figured out how to hold it it wasn't a big deal.

I've never had any kind of allergy to anything, and I've never had my skin breakout, I don't have sensetive skin by any means. So when I read the reviews about it being irritating I disregaurded them. I am pretty sure it was not an allery related rash that I had. I think T'eo might have been too drying on my skin. After 2 days of using it(and not after shaving, I paid attention to that part)I had a horrible rash under both arms and giant red bumps all the way down into my bra line. It itched and hurt like nothing I had ever felt. After the second day I put a cool washrag under both arms, and then slathered them in Charity pot lotion and the rash is pretty much gone now, 3 days later.

I really don't think it was the product I think it was just too drying for my skin. I am ordering Amarco next to try since it appears to be more moisturising.

        Comments about LUSH T'eo:

This bar is so unique, but the pros and cons are both surprisingly extreme. I love the scent, it smells citrusy and fresh. The powder has a nice dry feel. My bar was delivered in the mail, and had been knocked around a lot during shipping. As I was holding it during my first use, it suddenly broke apart and the powder went e-v-e-r-y-w-h-e-r-e on my dresser. Luckily I was able to save it all and put it in a body butter tin. This makes application more like the dusting powders or powder deodorants. So all was still well at this point, but after wearing it for a few days, I noticed that the citrusy scent mixes poorly with the smell of sweat. Sweat sometimes has kind of a sour, strange smell to it, and this bar made my sweat in some days smell worse than it normally ever would. :[ I still love the scent of the bar on it's own and will probably use it more as a dusting powder or dry shampoo.

This deoderant passed two out of my three tests. First, after using this deoderant, my polyester running shirt didn't stink up the closet after a sweaty, summer run. Second, I cleaned my house all day without showering and I didn't offend any family members. I'll see what happens after test #3 in the fall: teaching middle schoolers 10 hours a day. So far, I'm thrilled! And, it didn't irritate my skin after shaving. Yippee!

T'eo does indeed fit in the massage bar tin (with extra space) as well as the body butter tin. Generally, I find the tins a good way to transport the deodorants for travel.

Unfortunately, T'eo does not fit into any of the LUSH tins until it has been used a couple of times and worked down a little bit. As long as it is stored in a cool, dry place away from any moisture the bar should be fine.

It doesn't really fit in the tins. I keep it in the bag from the store, and outside of the bathroom so that it doesn't absorb moisture from the shower.
